Inexperienced barber cut my hair and charged me 50$ not sure why someone who's new can charge full price? I will not be back again

I never liked getting haircuts, but Jan always makes my hair look great! This has been the first time that I have been excited to get my hair cut!

Best haircut in Vancouver. Always happy with the haircut and service. Never getting a haircut anywhere else.

Can’t believe I haven’t left a review here yet. Been with the Jack team for…many years now. I’m too old to remember exactly. They are are very friendly and keep a light hearted environment whenever I am there. I’m a loyal guy when I get good service from great people, and this is why I will continue to come here for hopefully many years to come. Highly recommended to call/book in advance as some days can become quite busy!

This barbershop is the best in Vancouver! When I moved here from Montréal in 2018 I needed a barbershop. Helen and Margie took me in right away, not as a customer, but as family. I have been going there ever since. It’s almost like a sanctuary for me, and after long trips abroad I come here right away to get my hair fixed. This is a woman-owned and conscientious business. Please support them! Love y’all!

After many years of looking for a clean comfortable barber to take my sons (ages 10 and 12) to this is the only place I will take them for cuts. Miss Helen and her staff always go out of their way to make sure we’re comfortable and happy with their services. My boys ask to get their haircuts here. Highly recommended.

Walk-in - they accommodated me and had my hair done in 20min with a lovely & funny conversation. For some reason she refused to charge me - I don’t understand but I’m extremely grateful! Thank you so much for making my stay in Vancouver even more amazing!

Jack is by far the best barbershop in town for men and kids. I've been coming here every 4 weeks for the last 10 years, since I first discovered this gem.
Helen is by far the best and I honestly hesitated whether to write this review of fear that she'll get to much demand and will be harder to book.

Nothing against the women who cut hair here but could you please have someone who speaks and understands English answer the phone? !? Impossible to make an appointment without calling is frustratingl.

Easy to reserve, and didn't face any wait time. The stylist took time to understand how the hair grows and flows, and proceeded to cut according. Unlike other place, they do take time to fine tune smallest details. Lookin forward to getting more done here.

Walked in and they were busy. They were able to fit me in. The cut was awesome and the experience was really fun. Lots of chatter. Comfortable environment. Very accommodating. Even let me request a song! Very refreshing feel after all the lockdowns and social distancing! Thanks Helen and team!

Jan's been cutting my hair for a few years now. I always appreciate the attention to detail she has. She always takes the time to make sure that the haircut is perfect. The level of service is unparalleled. She is fantastic! I have no idea what style looks good or what should be done with my hair. Jan is very helpful and knows how my hair should look. The appointments are always on time. I would highly recommend.

The team is friendly and do a great job! They even go the extra mile to treat my son's dry scalp each time we come in.

Their website says that there will be guys suggesting you hairstyle and cool words like its made for men but there are chinese old woman who cannot understamd the style I want. If I want to do this I could go for $11 places.

Has been my go-to place for the past few years to get a haircut, totally worth it! Helen is very knowledgeable in men's haircut, any style you want just name it and she will do it right. All the team members are friendly and easy going too.

I made an appointment at 6: 15. It's a long distance from my home. I was called at 5: 55 saying they are ahead of schedule if I can come a few minutes early, which I really can't as there isn't much notice. After arriving on-time I discovered that they had double booked me, with another gentleman who walked in the door at the time time as me. They obviously knew this when they called but didn't say so. Nobody apologized, just asked me to sit and wait. I left, and they called at 7: 00 saying they had just finished the previous guy. No thanks. You've lost my business, and I won't be back.

Mimi cuts my hair. I particularly like her Japanese etequette, cutting so precise, movement quick and graceful. I could be in a barbershop in Osawka and have the same experience. Excellent!

Worst haircut I've had yet. Hair is not even or shaped well. Got it touched up after. Clearly new at mens cuts. The guy before me looked at me and said "don't do it" but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Definitely a 1/10 on the experience.

The ladies here are great. Not only do you get a good cut and wash, there is never a dull moment with all the conversations flying back and forth.

Excellent place for a men haircut, definitely recommend and Margi is really sound to talk to, great atmosphere and skilled barbers.

I have not been at Jack’s since they moved from Cambie to Main Street. I was in need and remembered driving by so made an appointment. I had Jen as a stylist and she was super welcoming and friendly. Amazing hair cut at a very decent price. My new to go to place.
