Don’t understand one thing…. Why you guys asking TIPS? I never pay tip in liquor store, and never going to. Are cashiers in superstore asking tips? No, and dude can’t even say good bye when I did not leave tip for can of beer…you already overpriced, asking tips is ridiculous.

Credit/debit machine defaults for tips. Shopped here yesterday to find out the bottle I bought had a best before date of April this year. I had bought the bottle and driven all the way out to my event only for someone to show me its been expired for almost 5 months. Not the worst thing in the world but if you’re going to have your machine default to tipping, then the staff should at least do the due diligence in making sure they are not regularly selling expired product. Also quite upset that I paid full price for for expired product. Probably won’t be coming back

I must start by saying that I have been a regular customer here since before it was Jak’s and I have typically received excellent customer service for over a decade. Especially when looking for good wine recommendations.

However, my experience this Canada Day was less than stellar. I entered around mid afternoon and the place was empty. As I entered, there were two staff people at the till and the one closest to me turned and as I smiled a greeting to him, he looked away without acknowledging me, which was very odd. Then I spent 10-15 minutes going up and down the wine aisles, not able to come to a decision so I decided to leave as I was a bit overwhelmed. As I left, I was asked if I had found what I was looking for, and it was a weird questions since I was leaving empty handed, so I replied no and that I would come back another time. As I left the door the staff member yelled very sarcastically “have a nice day”, as if I had done something wrong. It was not how how I expect a neighbourhood business to be. A little extra training and oversight would be in order with these two employees.

Super friendly staff and great selection. It’s not cheap but we always enjoy the visit and the products.

The staff are always friendly here and they're all quite knowledgeable. Wine selection is okay but not mind blowing. The beer selection is quite good but not the best in the city. However, the fact that you can build your own 4 pack makes this place a 5-star liquor store. We hate having to commit to a 4 pack of the same beer and love trying different beers. We can normally leave here with 8 different sours that suit our tastes.

These guys are the absolute best. So knowledgeable and kind, and they treat everyone well. It's a pleasure to have this shop on my doorstep.

The staff at the Granville address are fantastic and helpful! However, don’t bother with delivery- I was prepared to pay $30 for expedited delivery and tip and the company they use, never bothered to pick up and deliver the wine. JAX should get another delivery company. Lost sales Should matter.

The staff went the extra mile to locate and help me order a couple of Flor de Caña Centenario 18 that was hard to find on different stores. They processed the order for me the night before picking them up and they even helped me on wrapping them as they were Christmas presents.

My liquor store to go to. They got local and international class selections that no other liquor store has AND the customer service is awesome. Special cheers to Mina (or Meena) not sure how to spell this awesome lady's name, Zero, and Zero's owner (my apologies, not sure what your name is). The customer service at this location is bomb!
