Always make an effort to come here when I visit Kamloops. Oxtail is excellent, and the Johnny Cakes are delicious. Always great food.

They have a tendency to be closed during their opening hours. Best to call to see if they are actually open before leaving.

Really good food and friendly staff. Went there for lunch and had a great experience. Will definitely go again!

Excellent food and caring although inexperienced server. Best jerk chicken we have had in some time - better than what we have had in Jamaica recently! Highly recommend.

Hands down the best restaurant in Kamloops, red seal chef whipping up some legendary food. If you haven't been here, you're missing out BIG TIME!

Delicious breakfast! I had the Jamaican skillet, and even tho I cried by the end, it was perfect ;) it’s a bit spicy, if you don’t usually eat spicy, but well worth it.

Family run, and run well-with warmth and attention to detail. Delicious soup and Johnny cakes, and according to my niece, the best lamb she has ever had in Canada.

Delicious food. Got the curried chicken and Jerk Pork. Had some Ginger Beers. We ate it so fast that I didn't even have time to take a picture.

After months of wanting to go here for breakfast I finally did. It exceeded my expectations. So many great menu options. Food was fantastic. Will be back.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Coffee was smooth and rich, Jamaican Sunshine eggs Benny had tons of pork, the jerk spice was a complement to the Hollandaise, and I don't ever want an English muffin for eggs Benny ever again - Johnny cakes are definitely the way to go. Server was friendly and attentive. Music and decor set a great vibe without overpowering. Can't wait to come back.

This place is so gawd Dayum good. Me and my friends enjoyed a hearty meal that enriched us in Jamaican culture; it felt like we were on vacation. Come here rn

I was missing Carribean food back home and was greatly disappointed. The beef patty filling was dry. The curry goat dish's rice was salty and undercooked, curry was not rich in flavour. Ate anyway though because I was starving. Great service though

I would have loved to give them 5 stars after all the wonderful things I've heard about this restaurant, however. We went for breakfast on a weekend. Our meals came out at different times, and, my meal was cold when it arrived. Also, the Johnny cakes that are included with my meal didn't come out with my meal. I waited for the server so I could let her know that my meal wasn't hot, unfortunately, we didn't see anyone again until some time later when my hubby's meal was served along with my johhny cakes, which thank goodness WERE awesome and piping hot btw! I didn't bother saying anything cause I was so hungry at that point so I ate the food anyways. The food tasted good, but would have tasted even better if it had been hot. We will try again though

Absolutely top notch dine in the place you want to eat at… food, service, atmosphere. Real people family run. Best in the buisness.

The breakfast was excellent! We opted for the island spice french toast and it was exceptional.
We did come on the last day before they were going on holidays, they ran out of bread, so they offered to make it with a different bread than normal. Was delicious and I can only imagine how even more delicious it would have been on the proper bread. I liked how it also came with some nice fruit:)

What a treasure we found in JK! Great and friendly efficient staff in a beautiful “garden” like patio! The special flower boxes were so nice along with the background music made us feel like we were away on holidays! The food was awesome, Jamaican Sunrise and omelet! Even the washrooms were bright and very clean!

This is some of the tastiest, well prepared food I've ever had. Never had Jamaican food before, and thanks to Jamaican Kitchen I now want to try every dish I possibly can. Perfectly cooked chicken breast in my Jerk Chicken lunch, with coconut rice and peas. The vegetable ensemble could convince the pickiest of eaters to love vegetables. Why the hell are you still reading this and not going to Jamaican Kitchen to eat their amazing food for yourself? ! Go on! Get out there!

Simple yet delicious. I had the $15 lunch special which included jerk chicken, curried chicken, salad and Johnny cake. For the price I can’t think of a better meal I’ve had in a long time. The jerk chicken alone was one of the best things I e ever eaten. Service was fast and friendly, the entire experience top notch.
