Tried it for the first time. Went for lunch and tried the combo that has a bit of raw crab. Not sure why raw crab would be popular, cooked is much better. Anyways worth a try. Expensive but that's normal, thanks to inflation insanity caused by reckless irresponsible public policies.

The soy marinated crab was unexpectedly good, would recommend as a must try. A little messy to eat but great flavours make it a perfect appetizer.

Gamjatang had deep meaty bone broth taste and good amount of spice. Best I've had so far. Spicy pork intestine was nicely prepared too. Want to come back to try more food for sure.

One of the few places to have marinated raw crabs. They are super small. However the marinade is delicious. The crab itself doesnt have much flavor so it relies on the sauce. There no option to choose with roe or without roe here.

Also ordered the nengmyeon. I like that they put iced broth cubes in there. The taste of the broth is quite bland but I like tonadd vinegar and mustard anyways.

The place is quite spacious. In general, the foods were good, though the bbq meats were bit though for some reason. The service was fast and good. However, they only let you eat in for 1.5 hours only, no matter how much you order, so you must eat in the hurry and save the conversation.

The service is so rude, the girl just been so toxic and kept took our tools away even we didn’t finish

Very delicious Korean style bbq & cousin. The bbq beef recommended by our server is very tasty. The raw beef tartar also is the highlight
Not to mention the sashimi & pork belly is great too. I remember the combo set we ordered also including rice in Korean hot pot, hot cod fish spice soup…. And three more different style salad…. Very delicious

This is my new favourite Korean restaurant! The BBQ meat are all so fresh and tender. The marinated crab was amazing too. I would travel here to eat for sure

Been trying to come here for awhile and even with high expectations I wasn’t let down. Marinated raw crab was really good. Just too bad they don’t have the spicy one. The BBQ meats were fresh and good portions. Everything was Soo good I ended up ordering more and more. Definitely a must try. Better than most BBQ places I’ve tried so far.

Came here for the raw marinated crab and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they serve a bowl of rice and soup with it if you order it as a meal. It was my first time trying raw marinated crab and I enjoyed it, though I don’t think I see myself ordering it a lot in the future. I also chose the spicy beef soup for my order and it was delicious. My friend ordered the beef tartar stone bowl which came with a bean soup both dishes were amazing - something I would come back for. Overall, I think the quality and quantity you receive for the price is amazing.

We shared the beef combo of $85 meant for 2 among 3 people. The portions were pretty good, and we were all pretty full (but we are small eaters). The quality of the beef is good, and everything tasted pretty good. The ventilation in the restaurant was good, and we didn't leave smelling like bbq.

My parents and I love coming here for lunch when we are in the area! We usually order the Jeju Combo A and a corn cheese! The Jeju Combo A includes a spicy sashimi salad, soy sauce marinated soft crab, grilled mackerel, napa wraps with slow cooked pork, spicy codfish soup, and stone pot rice. Their lunch sets are great value, yummy and sure to fill your stomachs!

This will be the best place if you are craving for sashimi! Food was great and good customer services

3rd time here, this time we ordered the lunch special BBQ menu for 2. $56 for 2 and everything was delicious. From the soup to the salad to the rice to the meat. Next time I'll try the shabu shabu lunch special.

The waitress is very aggressive and rude. She was pushing customers to leave before the closing time.

I go here maybe once every two months? I’d go more often, but there are reasons ahaha.
Their food is pretty nice, but some other things bring up complaints.

First the positives:
1. The makchang and bibimbap is really good.
2. The side dishes here are quite nice too.
3. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the tables are nicely sized.
4. Staff can be really nice and attentive, most of them at least.

A few negatives
1. There’s no reservations. You write your name on a board and wait outside. Sometimes your name gets erased and you’re not called. They’re also not shy about kicking you out as early as 3-5 minutes after your time limit is up so I don’t recommend the place for special occasions. They really are keeping a close watch on you. They’ll forget what you ordered but you can bet they won’t forget when you came in.
2. The bbq meat is average, I’d personally go next door to Arisu for that.
3. The service depends strongly on the day. Some of the staff are really sweet, but some others give off the impression that they wished people wouldn’t show up at the restaurant anymore.

Below is a more personal experience complaint lol.
They’re t really really strict with the restrictions currently. Good from a health perspective, but be ready to be asked to present your (physical) bank and mortgage statements or your immigration papers if you happen to be an immigrant whose name on the health registry is a bit different from your drivers license.
I feel kinda bad for being a Karen in this review about it, but usually when the middle and last names match most places are more accommodating.
Adding a revision update:
It wasn’t a bad day for the particular girl mentioned in the above complaint. Another family member went yesterday with the correct ID and everything, opted to use a picture of ID, was told off in a quite rude manner. Upon entering they brought the wrong food and forgot about the table for extended periods of time.

Final thoughts, get the makchang takeout!

Spicy cold noodle and the spicy sashimi bowl was really good! And i was so touched by their service:) we will definitely come back!

Really didn’t expect to be that good but you gotta try their hot stone bowl menus. Bit pricy than other Korean restaurants though

I know this place is authentic when I'm surrounded by tables of Koreans. Their lunch combo A is very very good priced for the amount of food, $34 for 2 ppl. We liked the soy marinated raw crab that we ordered another portion. I love how the rice is steamed in a metal pot and brought to the table piping hot. Recommend!

I was really craving some raw crab and since hannam and hmart didn't have any, I opted for dine in. I got the combo with the raw crab, rice and soup (you can choose between soybean stew or beef tofu stew- i got the tofu stew). To be honest, the stew didn't taste that flavorful. It had onions and zucchini and lots of tofu but only a couple chunks of tough beef. The soup itself was a bit plain. The raw crab was good but it was too sweet for me. I usually eat yangnyeom raw crab instead of the soy sauce kind so maybe I didn't come in with the right expectations, especially since the reviews on the soy sauce crab here are great. The price on this particular set was decent- $17 ish. I don't think I would return again though.

Wait is super long & they don't seem to implement a time for each table so there are tables of people who have long finished their food and just sits for 30mins + chatting

Came for lunch on a Friday. Not many people inside. We ordered the 3 people lunch set. It comes with bossam (pork belly), sashimi, raw marinated crab, grilled mackerel, rice and a fish soup. Overall for $53 for all this food would be enough for 4 people considering the amount of food they provide. The sashimi was interesting - flounder etc had different textures. The marinated raw crab was very well marinated and although they don't give you a lot it's definitely enough to satisfy my raw crab desire. The bossam was really tender and went we with the marinated Napa wraps. I actually prefered the Napa wraps to the kimchi that they provided. The side dishes were all mediocre to me. The grilled mackerel was grilled well and went so well with the rice as did the marinated crab. For the price I would recommend this set but if you want to try more things like their raw seafood soup, intestines etc. Then you might want to order separately. The service was also really fast and attentive. Would recommend going during lunch as I hear the line can be long during dinner times.

Tip: ask for gloves when you eat the raw crab

Those food was OK but one of staff’s attitude was makes me unhappy. So ignoring but never attended to customers.

Food was amazing, service was good, price was reasonable. Only issue we had was the tight seating. I just felt really uncomfortable sitting there because of the limited space we had at the table.

Not a pleasant dining experience. We were a group of 5, ordered sashimi combo worth $320 in total, but were reminded three times that there's a 1.5 hour limit for each table. The quality of the sashimi itself was good, but definitely not worth the money. Portions were small, and not even a small dish of kimchi was served with our order.
