Jelly Academy

The Digital Marketing Bootcamp was highly informative, offering practical insights into digital marketing, perfect for my volunteer and contract work. The inclusion of short quizzes was excellent for reinforcing learning and testing knowledge. Most certifications provided are free, which adds great value. The course content is immediately applicable in real-world scenarios. Also, check out their scholarship options for potential financial assistance. Overall, a valuable investment for anyone looking to enhance their digital marketing skills.

This academy’s digital marketing bootcamp, was the jelly to my peaNET butter! Get it? "Net" like interNET?

The instructors are from diverse backgrounds, and they all have their fingers on the pulse of everything digital/social media/marketing/AI. They were also very generous to spend some extra time after classes for fireside chats, as well as connecting on LinkedIn, for future questions that may arise.

Most of them use an online platform called Kahoot, as a gamified way to do questionnaires in some of the Zoom sessions. The classes are packed with lots of material, so make sure to have coffee/mushroom powder, or whatever you need to be energized and focused! They do provide a recording of every session, which is one of my favourite aspects of the bootcamp.

My other favourite thing, is the academy’s efforts to empower people from specific marginalized groups; so for all my BiPOC people out there, I strongly encourage you to apply for some of their scholarships!

Thank you for the time and effort put into the courses and quizzes. I learned a lot these past couple months.

I was a little scared going into the program as to what this would look like for me. I was scared that I would not be able to focus or carry myself through. But one of the things that really stood out for me is how passionate and enthusiastic the instructors were. I did the self paced course. So even though I did not get the chance to interact with the instructors, I was able to see how excited they were to teach and in turn I felt excited as well.

I am so grateful for everything I learned. I hope to take a cohort class next. I was also a recipient of the Black and People of Colour Scholarship, which was an honour. My grandpa would be so proud of me right now.

I know this program has prepared me with the skills and knowledge to take my career to the next level.

The PR portion of the course was my personal favourite, that is something that I learned throughout the course that is what I would love to explore more of

I wish I had taken the cohort class and not the self-paced class for the classroom experience. The self-paced was great, but you really must stay motivated, luckily the instructors make it easy to stay motivated as they make the experience fun.

Digital marketing boot camp was dynamic, with experienced trainers. The personnel was helpful and understanding. Receiving a scholarship was a plus.

Great experience at jelly Academy thank you to true blue for delivering on the scholarship really appreciate that whole experience. It was a six week Boot Camp and gave me the confidence to pursue codeine and further digital marketing education through jelly Academy coming up this year and would recommend it to anybody looking to upgrade their résumé as well as work experience thank you jelly academy

I took the Jelly Academy Digital Marketing Bootcamp course in the fall of 2022. I was lucky enough to receive the Women in Digital Scholarship to help support my learning.

I would highly recommend this course to folks who are brand new to digital marketing, or people like myself who have a bit more experience. I was drawn to this course because they provide a syllabus that encourages you to complete other industry certifications at the same time, so that was a great push for me to learn a lot in a short period of time.

One area that I feel the course could be improved would be having more interaction with others taking the course. Things like a forum, Slack channel, Discord, etc.would have been valuable to share learnings and network with others in the course.

Overall, I'd highly recommend and encourage folks to check out their scholarship opportunities if cost is a barrier.
