I went in for regular servicing. They were quite busy (it was a Saturday morning) but I was in and out within 2 hours and they also vacuumed and washed my car.
The waiting room could definitely use a few more chairs though!

I lost my car last week, and Sepehr has been very helpful and patient with my situation to help me finding a new vehicle.

The entire crew was great, Tim was helping to deal with a diagnostic for my insurance, and Allan was and still is trying his best to do me justice with a airbags incident.
I really feel supported and they ve been fast and efficient.
So I am really happy with my experience at this location

Horrible customer service! My car is getting fixed, the engine is being replaced, and its all covered by an extended warranty that we PAID for, and still the car has been there for almost 50 days with no estimate time for the conclusion of the services. It keeps getting pushed every time we call with the excuse that they are busy. They only managed to provide us with a rental car after more than a month of waiting. AND WE STILL WILL HAVE TO PAID FOR A PORTION OF THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE! I will never come back to this location for any service appointment. Very very very frustrated.

After have been waiting more than 15 months for our Ioniq 5 LR AWD Ultimate, we finally received a phone call from Dushan Kandasamy told us that we can get the vehicle soon. Got frustrated and ended up buying from a different dealership.

Reserved a Tucson with them since they had one coming in 2 weeks! After 2 weeks they delayed the delivery several times for different reasons. After a month and a half of waiting they again delayed the delivery for another 10 days with the possibility of more delay! I called other Hyundai branches to confirm if this much of delay is reasonable and as I expected it didn’t seem right. Anyways I cancelled my reservation and got the car right away from another branch. I just know the rates went up since I had reserved the car. Not sure if that was the reason of not delivering!

Booked an appointment for 10am this morning get to the dealership and there is absolutely no parking for customers as it’s taken up by vehicles for sale. Most staff members are wearing a single AirPod while working. Upon checking in the gentleman at the service counter hadn't even read what my appointment was for (initial service and a water leak coming from passenger side under the dash), they offer no shuttle service nor do they have loaner cars but will reimburse you up to $15 each on an Uber. I expected more from a Jim Pattison dealership. Odds of returning not looking good.

Customer service staff never look at you when you need something and stand in front of their desk. They keep looking down and keep typing and even when I say excuse me.they respond with a delay and still look down and talk without looking. I find it rude which has happened here several times.

In continuation of what I had said, I wanted to say that the company still does not know the problem with the car, and they asked me to delete my previous review, and also the customer service, whose name is Amir, spoke badly to me. I bought my car about two years ago, and this happened to it, and in order for the company to fix my car, it has to talk to the warranty company, and they won't rent me a car during this time. About four days when I left the car in the company and they didn't give me a car and I traveled by bus, it made me catch the flu virus.

My husband and I have been customers since 2018, but this year we had several problems, missing parts, poorly done services.recently it was recommended by them that we change the front brake, in the scheduled maintenance they did the service and then we found out that they changed the rear brake and didn't do all the service, we had to reschedule a new visit so they could finish the services and once again we had problems (and had to pay for everything). The truth is, they are not the least bit concerned about their poor service may or may not cause an accident and take other people lives.

I recently incurred damage to the shroud, fan and relay on my Veloster, creating a low speed overheating problem. This happened in Vancouver, while I was some 900 km.from home. The staff in the service department at JP Northshore Hyundai were exemplary in dealing with my problem. The key to this service was a gentleman by the name of Tim Lee, an ex vehicle mechanic/technician, employed at the front end of the service desk. The opportunity to have an in depth conversation about my dilemma with him (I was on my way home to the interior), and the speed with which it was handled was amazing. They squeezed me in short notice with a diagnostic appointment, and got the parts ordered and installed in 2 days. Mr. Lee personally followed up all phases of the process, and regularly informed me of the progress by phone.

Mr Lee and his colleagues in Vancouver are good people that went the extra mile. Regardless of whatever other service issues Mr Lee had going on, he made me feel that my issue was the most important one he was dealing with. What a positive experience.

If I could give this dealership a zero I would. I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review in my life, but my experience with Hyundai Northshore is deserving of a 1 star. Would not recommended. Every time I call to request an appointment or speak to someone over the phone, there is no one to answer. When I leave messages, no one ever calls me back. I have to physically show up to get answers. I now go to the Richmond Hyundai because service is exceptional and they actually answer my calls.

I had a great experience with JimPattison Northshore. Borna Derakhshanfar was our product advisor. We were new to Canada hence faced lots of challenges in getting approvals for a brand new car. Borna was great from the beginning till the delivery. It was a smooth sail with finance and insurance team related to the registration. Delivery was super quick within 2 weeks. Awesome experience thanks to Borna and team for helping us to achieve our first car Hyundai Venue in Canada.

They would not help me in a time of need when my 2015 Santa fe’s engine went with less than 100k km - was part of Hyundai engine recall. I was told it would be 4-6 months before they looked at it and that they had no loaner cars so I was SOL. I was also stranded on the Sunshine Coast. Thanks for caring!

Service department are scammers.

There was nothing wrong with my vehicle but they went ahead and did $1700 worth of fixes to my car that were not needed as it was just serviced 2 months ago. The only reason I showed up is because I got a recall notice. Will never be going here again

Never again will I buy another hyundai especially from Jim pattison hyundai. Why cause their service dept sucks. Own a 2012 sonata the engine blown just over 100000 kl. Currently have a 2015 Tucson same thing the engine blown just over 100000 kl. Car was tow Jim pattison hyundai on February 2,2022.today February 15 still no answer when they going to start the repair. Very disappointing experience with their dealership

Jim Pattison Hyundai Northshore is not what it was 3 - 5 years ago. They are always short on staff, Store manager and Financial manager are never available to talk.
If you need to book a service appointment, you must pray for them to answer the phone.

I tried to contact the financial services for three weeks, and I never got a callback from them.

It looks like they don't care about you after they have sold the car.

In my experience, I can say that the post sell is terrible.

I have bought two cars in this store, but I am sure I will never go back.

I recently leased a new Santa Fe from this dealership and I was beyond impressed with the quality of the service! I dont usually leave reviews but i would highly recommend this dealerahip. Ali was my salesman and he went over and above to help me get me the exact vehicle I needed, which wasn't easy considering the shortage of new cars these days! Even the service department took extra care to make sure my new car was cleaned to perfection and all the fance features were explained in detail to me. I was grateful to work with Zach on the financing too. He went through all my options in an educated and thoughtful manner so that I felt confident making the right choice to lease this vehicle He really knows his stuff and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. A great team at North Shore Hyundai and we will definitely be back! I am also looooving the new ride!

Very good experience through out the whole process. The service that I received from each department was outstanding. Hossein, our salesman, was respectful and attentive to our questions in regard to purchasing a new vehicle. He provided me with all information I was seeking and followed up several times to address my questions and concerns. Bryan was also professional and helpful. He explained all options for warranty and insurance with patience and taking my needs into consideration. Overall, I had a great experience and gladly recommend this dealership.

Got my wife’s Tucson back in June. I wish I can give this dealership a 5 star as I was really impressed with the attentiveness of the people working there. So here’s my story.

Walked into JPH about 30 mins before closing time on a Friday afternoon. After receiving not even a glance from another Hyundai dealership in Vancouver, I had 4 people approached me in less than 5 mins of entering the dealership asking if I needed any assistance. It felt great being noticed. I was fortunate to be introduced to Matt and we had build a good rapport in less than 30 mins. After everything was negotiated, I was promised a SUV in about 2 weeks time if I’d signed today. The vehicle was on a ship coming here according to the sales manager. It was a no brainer to do so as I liked the way the negotiation went and I like the people in JPH.

Here’s where the missed opportunity happened.

My salesperson had a family emergency to attend to and had to leave town ASAP. One would ASSUME that the sales manager or any one above him would take over his clients and keep them informed as to the status of their vehicles. I’d emailed the sales manager 2 days after signing the contract to ask about the wait time for other colors. No reply from him whatsoever.
2 weeks went by and the promised delivery date came and went by. I’d waited till the next day to inquire about the status of the vehicle. I know from past experiences that delivery dates can change depending on many factors. Not a problem or a big deal unless the dealership doesn’t inform you about it. I had to make several calls and no one can give me any satisfactory answers.
I had to wait until Matt came back to find out no one made a purchase of the vehicle so I now had to wait another week and a half. Again, another delivery date came and went and I had to take the initiative to make the call to find out what’s going on. It’s delayed for another 2 days as I was told. Do we see a pattern here now that the customer is always chasing for the answers and not the dealership making an effort to inform the customer.

Taking possession of the vehicle was not as stressful as some of my past experiences. Bryan, from finance, was quite informative and explained our options to further protect our new purchase. We did not feel pressured to purchase any extended warranties in our meeting with Bryan. Later on, Matt came and spend more than 30 mins explaining the features of the vehicle. Matt is a no nonsense kind of salesperson my wife and I can see ourselves working with in our future car purchases.

I had a talk with the GM afterwards and we had agreed that mistakes were made and that there are processes in place to deal with situations like this. I really like the people at this dealership and hope they can learn from this missed opportunity.

Ordered a part for my car in 29-Jun-21 with delivery date to 28-Jul-21, but after 3 months still didn't received the part. Every time I call the dealership they extend the deadline to delivery the part.

The overall experience at Hyundai Northshore has been unpleasant and put a big damper on the excitement of getting our new Santa Fe. While we really like our new vehicle, we’ve been ignored and given the run around more times than should be acceptable.

We bought in mid-July. Despite our new vehicle being on the lot, administrative delays with our trade-in pushed pickup to the end of the month with no updates while we waited. We added on a trailer hitch that had to be ordered and our product advisor, Chevy, offered us floor mats and a trunk liner. A week later we were told that the hitch was arriving on August 12/13 and that floor and trunk mats were behind his desk ready to pick up. On August 25, after several unreturned phone calls and messages to Chevy, I contacted the general manager and, wouldn’t you know it, my phone was ringing ten minutes later to arrange installation another two weeks later.

At the appointment, the service department informs me that floor mats for our vehicle are “in development” and have never existed. But hey, said what had to be said to close the sale. No courtesy car available but am told by Chevy that I will be reimbursed for Uber rides to and from. The dealership covered the ride home, I won’t hold my breath for the ride back.

Fine if you can’t or don’t want to provide floor mats, we didn't demand anything, but don’t offer a product that doesn’t exist. Fine if you can’t or don’t want to cover Uber rides, but don’t offer if you’re not going to fulfill. Indicative of the overall sense we’ve got that the customer is important until the deal and money are locked in. After that, we’re just a nuisance. The vehicle is great. The experience at Northshore Hyundai leaves a lot to be desired.

I have had multiple issues with this dealership in the past 4 years:
- Waiting long time on the phone to talk to someone
- We took the car for a safety recall, and when took the car back, the check engine was on! They didn't take responsibility for whatever wrong they did on the car. No one takes my call and it was very frustrating
- in 2017 I went there with my family to lease a new car. After half hour waiting the showroom to talk to someone, and staff just joking with each other, I left this place. I ended up leasing the car from OpenRoad Boundry Hyundai dealership.

Dropped off the vehicle for summer maintenance and a recall check, and they had everything finished in just over an hour after the set appointment time. They even washed it and vacuumed the interior without being asked!

I usually don't write a review but,
The service and deal at Jim Pattison Hyundai Northshore were amazing!
I searched for many electric cars that I was interested in and found Hyundai IONIQ, a fantastic technology system, good for the environment, even looking good!
My boyfriend found the dealer shop just to browse it first and, I ended up coming back to get the car the following week.
The service that I have got was beyond.
Fred, the product advisor, was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help me to find the perfect car for me. He listened to me carefully to what I was looking for and made sure all my curiosities and needs were satisfied!
Bryan, the financial manager, made my financial deal process understandable and efficient, considering my budget and knowledge.
Also, the general sales manager Judd brought my car from Victoria Island because the vehicle only had 5 left 5 in B. C.at that moment and he found one for me! Frankly speaking, When I decided to buy the EV, my boyfriend and I went to another dealer shop before, but we only felt they just tried to sell a vehicle, and we didn't feel comfortable.
However, the whole team members in Hyundai Northshore are unbelievably helpful and genuine.
I could go to other places to buy a car, but as you know, shopping is tiring, especially when we need to deal with it financially. Do not waste time. Just have exceptional service and deal over there.
Last, I sincerely appreciate Fred Sahraei! The genuine service that we have had was unforgettable, and you made my day when I walked in the shop and made my life easier and happier with the new car you recommended! Thank you!

Edit: They're rectifying the situation from September as the management never heard about the situation. Let's hope they're able to make up for it and I'll adjust my rating.

Update: They helped clean up the scuff mark and gave me a free oil change. Relationship repaired. The Service manager Ray has provided me with great service over the years.

I was very happy with the services offered by Hyndai of Northshore. Their associate Mr. Allen is great to deal with.

He allowed me to take my time, ask my questions, took multiple test drive until I got to the vehicle I really liked. Allen made sure he did everything to accommodate my wishes. We went through with the purchase and are extremely happy with our new ride.

Hope they continue to provide exceptional after-service as well. Very pleased with the entire experience.
