I had a bad experience on the 4th floor as I was being prepped for a colonoscopy. One of the nurses, Ronnie, was preparing to insert my IV line on the side of my hand. I asked her to do my arm instead but she refused (the veins on my arm were great). It was extremely painful during insertion and while I sat and waited for the procedure. I noticed other nurses inserting lines in other patient’s arms so it had nothing to do with the procedure. When another nurse removed it later from my hand she said she couldn’t understand why Ronnie put it there and suggested I ask for it to be inserted in my arm next time. Now, hours later, it’s extremely swollen, bruised, sensitive and painful.
A painful reminder to always advocate for yourself.

Hard to deal with old white people who works here. They all look depress and mad with every situation lol (specifically that old white lady in the xray reception). They aint busy anyway but instead of them communicating they will ask patient to deliver messages to their colleagues lol. I suggest putting some mask on those faces so they dont look angry to theyre patients. Leave your problems at home and do your job to us tax payers!

The female receptionist who answered the phone today on the 26 of October by 12 noon was so rude and unprofessional; from a medical facility you would expect compassionate care, or really just from any human being

Hospital staff, were very helpful, check up, with xrays and review with Surgeon, all in all, the process was not that bad.

I got iron infusion for the first time. I am so impressed with the staff. They are really helpful and co-operative.

Today is a Great day! First Ryan, CT scan, was grateful to have him a second CT scan, he takes great care, and is very kind.
Secondly to Manj, helped me secure an appt, level 3C, I am extremely grateful!

Never a problem dealing with JP until recently. My health is compromised so I still wear a mask. When you enter there is a table set up with masks. Previously, a personal mask had to be removed to wear one of theirs so I stopped bringing my mask as I would just get one from the lady at the mask table. Could I have a mask, please. She responds, they aren’t mandatory you know. Like she paid for them. I know that. Could you please give me a mask. This is the second experience with this woman. Next time I go, I will say something to her.

It’s my first time visiting here. I had a wonderful experience. I was greeted by a receptionist who was very warm and friendly. The place has plenty of parking. The centre was very clean and quiet. Everyone was very kind and helpful. My appointment was at 8.30 a.m. I went there 10 minutes early and was free by 8.33a.m. The service was very quick and I was treated very well. Everyone working here is well organized. It was amazing from start to finish.

Visit frequently for labs rather than using lifelabs. The only downside is pay parking but I'll take that over lifelabs busyness and wait times. Discovered Jim Pattisons lab after I waited for 1 hour even with a lifelabs appointment last year. Booking online is easy and I appreciate the text reminders for my appointments too.

I had a procedure done here last year and all staff and doctors made me feel reassured. Very rarely need to wait long when making an appointment. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Sometimes there are the occasional drifters from the building behind Jim P.that hang out around the building, but none have approached me to the point where I feel unsafe.

HORRIBLE doctors / techs in the imaging centre, I went for my anatomy scan and the doctor said something out loud to her student that was with her about “part of the skull not showing, may not be formed” and the doctor didn’t mention ANYTHING to me.

She knew the gender and wouldn’t tell me the gender because it wasn’t “100%” I let her know I was going to need to know the gender even though if she wasn’t 100% I was going to tell people later that day in my family and she told me “I’m not sure why people do that. ” Judging me.

Lastly she didn’t let my fiancé or mother into the room at the end. The doctor didn’t show me my baby. I had to go back for a part 2 anatomy scan at surrey memorial and they treated me amazing! Let my fiancé in, told me not to worry and nothings wrong with the skull and they confirmed the gender.

I will NEVER go back to this hospital EVER

I recently had a small procedure done at the Outpatient centre and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the receptionist. I only waited for about 30 minutes before I was escorted to the surgery centre.

The nurses who prepared me for my procedure were extremely kind and caring. They took the time to explain what was going to happen and what I should expect. The IV was prepared carefully, and my nurse even gave me a warm blanket to help ease my nerves. I really appreciated the effort they put in to make me feel comfortable.

I was feeling anxious about the procedure, but the friendly and caring environment put me at ease. I was sedated during the procedure, and when I woke up, I was feeling quite nauseous. The staff were quick to tuck me into a warm bed and let me rest until my family came to pick me up.

I cannot thank the staff enough for taking such good care of me during my stay. I wish I could remember the name of the staff who worked on April 19th as I would love to acknowledge them personally, but I would like to thank everyone for making my experience so comfortable and smooth.

WORST SERVICE EVER

Called this morning but their reception staff doesn't even wants to listen and in a very grumpy mood. Keep transferring my calls to the wrong department such as cleaning and maintenance service.
I have screenshot of my call logs.

Time is everything and who gave you a rights to ruin others time. They don't even deserve 1 star. They deserve 0 and they need to attend classes of kindness and politeness. Their soul are dead and these kind of people are working in a hospital.

After this review, I believe they will change my urgent documents result into negative outcome.

I must say that it's an understatement to say that this is the worst service possible.

Best Breast Health Clinic. Staff are amazing. Dr Janzen is the rockstar of the department, excellent beside manner. Surgical floor, pre-op, recovery & daycare staff are incredibly supportive & top notch at what they do. Jim Pattison Outpatient Surrey is the best place to be.

I called the general operator, I was hoping to get some assistance with an urgent matter. However, the woman who answered the phone was dismissive from the start, and she seemed irritated when I asked her a question. She spoke to me in a condescending and rude manner, and it was clear that she had no interest in helping me with my issue. I was shocked by her behavior, and I felt disrespected and frustrated by the entire interaction. 2023-03-08 noon

No discharge instructions post knee surgery. Especially keeping in mind, the surgery leaves patient strictly bed bound for 4 weeks. C'mon hcws can do better than this. At least do your job sincerely.

5 stars for the imaging techs & staff @ each imaging corridor (i had multiple tests). They were friendly & reassuring. Down to 3 stars due to the angry & rude check in window who yelled at a handful of us because the single, small sign was blocked by the crowd & nobody knew where to line up. She really missed the "above & beyond" welcoming scared, sick people to the floor.

I went to the hospital for a lab test. I am very pleased with my experience. Hospital was clean. There were plenty of waiting area. I did not have to wait long and was taken right around my appointment time. The receptionist and lab staff were friendly. The test was also fast and smooth.

My 5.5 month old daughter has had to come in several times for bloodwork. Our last time there a few days ago she was given a crotchet teddy bear made by one of the lovely staff members. There were at least half a dozen teddy bears under the counter from what we could see. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would. Whoever is making those bears for the kids 100% needs a raise!

I have been treated extremely well in the neurological dept for 8 years now for a chronic and life altering disease. I am very well treated and cared for in a very professional way. The entire facility is an tremendous asset to the community. The staff and doctors that have taken care of me have been understanding and compassionette. Thank you for those who have provided this resource.

I had a surgery at this facility, and was very impressed by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Everyone was working as a well-organized team, and they really put a human touch on the care being provided. Communication was excellent, with all details being double-checked and the treatment plan being clearly explained, with all questions answered.

My friend went to this hospital and the specialist thought that she was exaggerating, she didn't care; We waited an hour to be seen and that doctor (if she can be called that) just wanted her to get out of her office quickly. Doctors like this should not be practicing, it is disrespectful and a waste of time.

My dad's family doctor called me to give me the appointment date and time and once I go there the receptionist Lucy said they called and left a message to reschedule the appointment because she made a mistake and overbooked. No one called and no one left a message, she had the wrong number and lied about it and never admitted to her mistake. I booked a day off work to take my dad because he is blind, the appointment was at 2 and it took them 56 minutes to tell the doctor can't see him. We were setting for an hour and she comes and tell us the doctor will not see him. She wasted my whole day and now I have to book another day off work to take him again. She is a rude and horrible person for wasting someone's day, specially around covid time.

Dr. Jennifer Prince did a awesome job! My finger had got slammed into a door and I got stitched up and was told to come here for check ups, did a great job every time. Took her time to make sure everything was good even though it was really busy!

Overall the services and cleanliness in this hospital was very good. Unfortunately some workers give this place a bad reviews.

I had my MRI test today morning. The (lady) receptionist working at ground floor and 2nd floor didn’t know how to welcome there patient nicely. However the young lady (greeter) at 2nd floor and (lady looks like Chinese) worker at MRI room was very nice and friendly. And they gives me good experience on my MRI appointment and coming on this place.

I have had 2 surgeries there and have been treated with the outmost care.
Friendly helpful staff and beautiful clean facilities.
I just wish you didn't have to pay for parking ‍️

I had surgery today on the 4th floor, with it being my first time there.

I was greeted by security as I was lost as to what to do when I walked in and he was kind, escorting me up by elevator.

With it being COVID, I was asked to sanitize my hands and provided a mask right away. This was good to see they were following protocols.

After registering, I was taken to the Unit and given my oh so good looking outfit, welcomed nicely. My nurse (wish I had gotten her name) was down to earth and did well on my IV.

Sadly for them they were short staffed, so 3 other nurses also checked on with me. No complaints - all were lovely and apologetic. Even though they had nothing to be sorry for.

Anesthesiologist was awesome - Dr. Twist, whose sense of humor calmed me. He was a hoot! (Thank you)

Staff in the OR were awesome as well. I have a potty mouth and was nervous - they handled me well.

My cardiologist Dr. Lemaitre was amazing as usual and all went quickly and smoothly.

I was greeted with a glass of cold water to drink quickly and given directions - written and printed - that were clear and easy to understand.

Thank you to all of you working on June 22,2020. It was nothing but a positive experience.

Had a chest xray. The requisition said to use nipple markings. He did not do it. I questioned him about it because he did not do it. Got mad at me because he said I should of told him. Not my job to read it to him. Not very professional.

I attended at the surgery centre today to receive a joint fluoro injection to alleviate my hip pain. I am on the non-essential surgery list for a hip replacement and have been in a great deal of pain. Not any longer. The doctor who administered the injection and the staff who assisted couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. The treatment has been great. Ask my wife. She drove a grouchy husband to the hospital and brought home a pleasant human being.

I’m disappointed about having to call in regarding my appointment for the pregnancy and diabetes clinic and rescheduling for tomorrow as I am pregnant and super ill and unable to make it. The person I spoke with on the phone was quite frankly rude when I said I would like an appointment for a Monday cuz that is my usual day off, coming back with well your appointment isn’t on a Monday and me staying I would have to look at my schedule and still being pushy. Quite frankly why the hell would I want treatment at a place where someone who is suppose to have some form of understanding just on an appointment act like that, I wasn’t being rude I was just trying to reschedule. I’m Beyond upset.

My wife had appointment for her ultrasound at 11am which was confirmed through a phone call message by this unit department!
when we reached there reception told us it is scheduled at 11: 30 am which surprised to us! Later we have been there till 12pm and still waiting but not turn! We specially got our kids off from school to share baby moves and pics in ultrasound!

A first rate facility, well organized flow and setup. The staff are first rate, patient and polite. An excellent place for outpatient services with most fields within. Doctors are well placed and my experiences with everyone there has been very helpful!

I find the Lab technicians, and office staff very professional in their handling of patients. If you don't want to wait in a long lineup.come when they open. If you are coming at noon, bring your patience and not your phone so you whine and complain to someone on the other end about the long wait. I have to go there on Sundays, because of my medications, and doctor appointments on the Monday. I am glad they are open Sundays to accomodate me. I find the patients sometimes annoying and very rude.
