They are definitely amazing! I got a serious battery problem with my Subaru Outback. I called Langley Subaru first, they told me they cannot do it until half a month later; I called Richmond Subaru, they said they will call me back and never did. It is impossible for me to go work without my vehicle, so I decided I will give it a last try. I called them, I explained the situation and told him it is critical for me to have a vehicle to go work. He said can you drop it today, we will take a look and help you as much as we can. I showed up, and they fixed it in an hour! Now, it is perfect!

Close friends bought their Subaru Forester at another dealership. Their engine computer failed and put the car in fail safe mode. They went to their old dealership. They refused to even examine the car since they had not made an appointment. Suggested Coquitlam Subaru. The result, an immediate examination and an apology that it would take 3 hours to fix because they had to order in the part. Would they mind waiting? The simple answer no?
Coquitlam Subaru has a great service department. While they cannot always work miracles, they believe in customer service and good communication. Subarus are great cars, this is a great dealership.

Very good follow up and excellent communication combined with friendly and helpful service from Sally in sales. I’m very satisfied with the whole sales experience. On my trade in and lease return purchase the only add-ons I was offered on top of my quoted price were extended warranty and an enhanced insurance product. Other than those the price was exactly as quoted.

After almost 6 months of waiting for my new 23 Outback Wilderness, it had finally arrived. I’m super excited and can’t be happier. I just called asking about buying a new hybrid crosstrek. The person I spoke with was rude and very unhelpful. I realize that the car is not out yet so there isn't much information. But when I asked for if they could provide me any information the person just replied with "no I dont have any information" he didn't offer to take my phone number or email to provide me with information in the future when its available and he didn't mention any of the information on their website, which actually has an entire section about the new hybrid. Clearly he wasn't interested in making a sale so I will be buying from a different company instead, worst customer service I have ever had.

Context: My previous vehicle was a write off from an accident and ICBC gave me 3 days to find a new vehicle once the settlement amount was emailed to me.

Jim Pattison Hyundai was the first location I visited because I was looking for a 2022 Elantra. They didn't have any, so I asked about the Honda Civics on the lot (On the Jim Pattison Subaru side). The salesman and I unfortunately did not catch some damages on the vehicle before I purchased.

This was no issue because Jim Pattison Subaru were kind enough to take care of most of the damages free of charge. There was also a small administrative mistake in the system, but Jim Pattison Subaru were able to work around it.

Although there were a couple bumps in the road, the customer service was 6/5. I want to give a shout out to Zach especially for the advice he gave and the professionalism he demonstrated. I also want to shout out Ian, Cam, and last but not least, Lindsey.

5/5 - Would purchase from again. PS: the coffee is amazing

My sales team, Kenny Ng, Cam Henderson, Lyndsey Wilks gave me fantastic, friendly service throughout my new vehicle purchase and has checked on me when we got home.

We stopped in to have a look at the crosstrek and the forester. We walked around the lot for almost 20 minutes (beautiful sunny day). Not one person spoke to us or approached us regardless of the fact that they saw us walking around.

I wouldn’t hurry back here to look for a Subaru.

The best buying experience! This is my second Subaru and I can compare dealerships. So, Coquitlam is the best smooth process, friendly managers. Not pushing for extra or unnecessary things. I would definitely recommend this dealership and sales manager Kenny Ng to all my friends and family!

It's amazing how many times people can try to mislead you. Instead of helping and provide termination of insurance paperwork. It's interesting how I am informed that I need to get the paperwork from another dealer when I am looking to cancel my warranty and make a new purchase. Interesting choices have been made. Paperwork should be available from them insurance company if you're not getting any help.

Leased a new 2022 WRX from Rosh Gharu. I wasn't very enthusiastic about the car sales process - everyone's always wary when talking to dealers - but I can confidently say that Rosh provided me the most honest and transparent car purchasing experience I've enjoyed so far. He was helpful through every step of the buying process and acted in good faith throughout our interactions.

Importantly, after-sales service has also continued to be good. When I picked up the car, Rosh pointed out a couple of very minor existing paint chips (I might not even have noticed on my own) and assured me that Subaru would fix them for free. He's been responsive to communication even after I picked up the car and has continued to make me feel like a valued client. Very impressed and happy with the buying experience.

I wouldn't go to any other dealership other than Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam! Zach, Rosch and Lyndsey have been so kind and friendly to me. I thought it would be a much more hefty process, but it was smooth sailing. Rosch and Lyndsey answered all of the questions I had and made me feel confident in purchasing my first brand new car! It might be a longer wait now to get your car, but it is worth it! Thank you team!

We had a verbal agreement with Kenny Ng on 5th March about the purchase of the above car in April.
However, he contacted us few days later that the car already offered to another customer because our credit check not yet been approved. We were upset about the news, he then advised us that there would be another model of the same series available soon. We are pushed by Kenny Ng for an immediate reply so I confirmed ordering Crosstrek Touring (cool grey) with no choice.

As we were checking the estimate delivery but nothing could be confirmed by Kenny Ng, he was unwilling to refund the deposit when we requested. We are very dissatisfied with Kenny Ng's reply and disappointed on the service. This was an unpleasant experience to our family.

I was happy when I bought my new car. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately I was told at the time that they couldn't negotiate the vehicle price but as a small compensation would give me my first service for free. I went for my first service and mentioned that it should be free and was treated like a liar by everyone I spoke to asking me to come up with proof because they didn't fill in the paperwork for what I was promised. After spending $50k on a new vehicle I was insulted over a $165 service fee. It seems illogical to me that you would treat a customer this way and not just honour something so insignificantly small, especially since now I won't go there anymore for service, accessories or vehicles. I still gave 3 stars because I love my car and subaru in general. I went to this dealership after reading so many great reviews but am disappointed.

I just bought my first car at this JP Subaru location. Rosh was very helpful throughout the entire process, was always available and did a fantastic job addressing all my requests and working around my schedule. These folks are very up-front about everything and do their absolute best to accommodate their clients. Overall a great experience!

This was my first time financing or purchasing a vehicle through a dealership. The whole team at Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam made it an easy, fun, stress free process.

From the moment I first made an inquiry on my vehicle I had help and support from a sales team member, a call or text away.

Never, through the entire process did I feel I was not being looked out for. The team was very accommodating and got things done proficiently.

In the end I left very happy, with my vehicle, the coverage I was able to receive, and the overall experience.

We had a poor experience here. We went in Saturday August 7th, hoping to finance a new Crosstrek. There was only one other group of customers at the time but no available sales rep. We were helped by the sales assistant who was pleasant enough, but did not know too much about the sales aspect. After we test drove and sat down to talk numbers, the salesperson, Zachary, was arrogant and dismissive. First, he showed up only when we had questions that the assistant couldn't answer. They tried to sell us a colour we didn't want (it seemed that they were trying to get rid of whatever inventory they had). Then they tried to add on extra costs to the car ($165 for all weather floor liners - which actually comes for free in the trim we wanted; and $120 for a bumper step cover that is totally optional and that we didn't want). When we first pointed out the extra charges, the sales assistant (who we spent most of our time talking to at this point, not even the salesperson) tried to persuade us that that is just how things were, and that these can't be removed. She skipped right ahead to telling us that if we wanted to secure the car, we would pay a deposit today, before we even had a chance to negotiate with the salesperson. The salesperson swung by around again, almost as an afterthought, and asked if we had other questions. We brought up the extra charges again, and he simply said "that's a mistake" without any apology. They made us another quote, taking off the $165 for the mats, but left on the $120 for the step cover we didn't want, saying that "it's only a hundred bucks anyway. " He was unwilling to negotiate at all, and when we asked about hitch installation, and he said the price "may be negotiable" but he would have to talk to his manager - but never did. Despite all of this, he tried 3 times during that visit to get us to commit to buying the car on the spot. We got the hell out of there.

We went to another Jim Pat Subaru the next morning, and bought the car we wanted in the trim and colour that we wanted, at a better price than they were quoting us, with much nicer salespeople. And we're already driving it 10 days later (the salesperson at the Coquitlam branch quoted me 6 weeks to get the car we wanted). My only regret is that I missed the call when the Coquitlam branch called to follow-up 3 days later, as I wanted to let them know I took my business elsewhere and that I was very unhappy with their services.

TLDR: do your research before car shopping, watch out for added charges, and if you meet a car salesperson in a suit, expect them to act as arrogant as they look.

Finally, I can have my gorgeous black crosstrek. All employees who helped me in there was so kind.

I recently purchased a used Acura RDX from JP Subaru. The salesperson Rosh was friendly, professional, and transparent and made the process very straightforward and easy without any pushiness or upselling. I have looked at a lot of cars at a lot of dealerships in the past few weeks and havent meet anyone as nice as Sally Choi. She was very friendly and felt like no pressure sales throughout the two days I came. She treated me like her own son and she was the best!

Other than Sally, the reason why im giving this a 4/5 and not a 6/5 for Sally was that when I went home, I found rust around the Gas tank that I was not informed about and it seems to be the Air filter wasnt really checked as it looks like it needs to be replaced.

Not sure why my review yesterday didn’t show up but yes, BIG Thanks to David, Zach and Cam. They did everything to helped me out this weekend and I can’t wait to get my Crosstrek.

Very disappointed with the oil change service. All boxes have been checked off on the review sheet to show what service has been completed. This is the second time I have taken my car for service and they have not reviewed what they said they did. Cabin filter and air filters were not checked and changed, mileage was not recorded correctly. Would not recommend this location.

Kenny and the other staff here are helpful and friendly. I am happy with the deal I got for my WRX and the extra warranty.

I bought a 2018 Elantra GT from him a couple days ago and I could not be more than satisfied with all the service he provided since pre sales by looking for the best deal that would accommodate within my budget, negotiating the price, and contacting me to check how good my driving experience has been so far.
