Been here to buy a used car. The sale person (Wayne) was very disrespectful on discussion about the pricing. He told me he can give me $100 discount only or I should not waste his time. Then he told me I can go back to the other dealership I bought the other brand new car a couple years ago so they can help me better. It was absolutely waste of time and I do not recommend this place if their sales people have such a disrespectful behavior towards their customers.

I recently purchased a grand highlander from Jim Patterson Toyota Surrey. I have bought many cars in my life. This car dealer is the best. Special mention is the Sale Advisor Nadine. She is very professional, accommodating to my schedule. She even answered my text during her day off and vacations. She walked me through the car and paired my phone to the car when I picked it up. She installed the trunk mats personally. This dealer has no pressure to trade-in or charge mark-up for buying a new car, while so many others do. The only minor regret is the windshield fluid reservoir was empty when I picked up the car. But I am totally satisfied with this dealer and this is the second time I am buying a car here. Keep up with the great job, Nadine!

Update after one month of buying the car

My first-hand experience with these guys so far has been great. I had looked at several options before walking into this showroom. I met Mohammad Jamshid Nadiri who gave me the information that I wanted. They didn't hide any information regarding the price as they gave me the quote with the breakdown. This is very important as most dealers do not want to share the breakdown.

Then I met Kevin who was the Finance person who supported me with the Finance process he also provided me with sufficient information about the process and i went home after making the down payment. The next day they called me and said the finance is approved and I can come and take the car out.

Thank you Nadiri and Kevin for your Amazing Service. Thanks for keeping it simple and efficient for the customer.

I came in with a (cash, outright sale) offer for an older Toyota rav 4 with significant water damage and the guy laughed at me. He barely spoke to me and only my boyfriend (it was my cash offer, btw, not his), and spent most of his time trying to convince my bf to trade in his car. I was barely acknowledged through the process and literally laughed at when my offer was rejected. Turns out the person I was dealing with wasn't even a sales person- only a product advisor! You may want to tell your staff to stay in their lanes, because I'm turned off from the entire toyota brand and all Jim pattison dealerships from this experience. Will never shop here or recommend this place.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a corolla hatchback from JP Toyota surrey. I found the staff to be helpful and informative.
I am especially thankful to Nadine who was extremely friendly and reachable through out the process. She was always available to provide information about their stock, and the vehicle. She was willing to help and made the purchase process quite smooth. She even gave us two water bottles as gifts!
I should also thank the Sales manager who personally helped me with finding the vehicle I was looking for.
I received the vehicle less than a month after letting him know about it (while I was given a ~6 month waiting period at another branch).

A brilliant experience overall!

Multiple time I called and in person visit to get help for new vehical but no response from sales person. Went to open road where got prompt response and help as well.

I had my car 2022 RAV4 Hybrid scheduled for a service yesterday. It was a Service #2 which includes oil change. After the service was done, I drove the car for 5 minutes and the check engine light came on. Then all of a sudden, the engine started making an unusual. Warning Maintenance message on the dashboard was “Hybrid Malfunction: Oil level low. Need to add or change engine oil. ” I drove the car back right away to the dealership to get it sorted out. I just can’t believed that this happened to me. I don’t know what kind of standard operation procedures this shop has. How could you not put enough oil in the engine? I don’t want anyone to experience what had happened so please double check the work before giving it to your customers. Run the engine for 5 minutes or more if you have to to check the proper engine oil level and leak check.

I am a struggling mother of 4 children and I am having the worst experience of my life as we speak at the Toyota dealership / service right now. I need help.
I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander 2022 a few months ago and not until my first service I did not have any problem.on my way to work I had WARNINGS pop up on my dashboard
1. A MALFUNCTION IN THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL OF THE ENGINE, THROTTLE, OR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN DETECTED. CONTACT Your Toyota dealer in order to have your vehicle inspected.
2. CHECK ENGINE. Visit your dealer
3. PKSB MALFUNCTION visit your dealer
4. SECONDARY COLLISION BRAKE SYSTEM MALFUNCTION visit your dealer
I have no idea I was afraid. I called the Toyota service and told what was happening. The said they will give me a call back but I waited and waited and no one called me back.
I had to find a way to take the car in by my self.
I stood for minutes and at when it was my turn, another person was called. I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and I was standing helpless while I was ignored. Finally I got called and getting to the car, the sales person switched on my car and saw all the alerts.
Getting back inside, the service person asked me what I wanted him to do. I told him that I just want my car fixed. The service person told me that if I leave my car he cannot guarantee when it can be fixed. He told me that he suspects that a rat had entered my engine to eat up plugs. He told me that he did not have a guarantee of when my car can be fixed he was rude, he was harsh, I was at his mercy. He almost sent me away. Other lady staff was smiling. He printed out a form and asked me to sign that I will pay if he detects that it is a rat that are my plugs.
I do not have all the money. I am a hardworking and struggling mum. I bought a brand new car because I wanted to take a break from mechanic. I didn’t know that I will start paying for my few months old highlander 2022 so soon. I am afraid of what the service person will say to me. How much bill he will give to me. Please good people of Canada come to my rescue. Help me. I am at the dealership right now. Is this a scam?

We purchased a new SUV from JJ this month. After a long wait we finally got called. Both JJ and John from the dealership was friendly and helpful. They also explained that this could've been a long wait as Hybrid cars are in high demand. During the wait, JJ made sure to keep in contact and gave us timely updates till we got the car. We have purchased 4 Toyota cars in the last 5 years, this was another great experience, thanks to the caring advisers in that location.

Worst car buying experience ever. He used language like we need to teach U what should have study and what homework u need to do before coming to a showroom. The person was not in a mood to advise or share his knowledge and just wanted to do all our research online.

My brother wanted to book a hybrid Corolla car and so he visited this showroom and a guy named Moh'd attended him. Moh'd told my brother that the waiting for hybrid corolla was 4years, hybrid rav 4 was 8 years. My brother told this guy that he wanted to buy a car for himself and not for his son. My brother gave him a deposit of CAD 500 but he went to another Toyota showroom. He was shocked to hear that the waiting for toyota Corolla hybrid was 1year. Actually Moh'd wanted to sell an old Corolla car to my brother for the price of a new car but my brother wasn't so desperate.

The only good thing about this store was that when my brother went to take back his deposit, they returned his deposit immediately.

They phoned and said that the vehicle was ready. Went to pick up vehicle. Checked vehicle for the quality of the workmanship. Was not happy. Got assistant manger and showed him my concerns (marks and scuffed areas from tapped area, tape residue, head light scuffing and overspray on black plastic parts). He immediately repaired while we waited. The vehicle came back and I asked the body shop manager to come with me to check the vehicle together. He explained that the job has a lifetime warranty and was strongly resisting to come to check it, saying that he had a lot of other things to do. He said that they already did "extras" on the car? I eventually got him to come. There was still concerns about the quality of the job, but did not feel like dealing with this manager. Why do I have to point out everything that is wrong.all we want is a good job - they are getting very well payed from ICBC.

I did not feel that I was satisfied with the quality of workmanship from this body shop. They are rushing and not paying attention to detail. The manager is not pleasing to customers and seems like he wants you gone. Not a very welcoming experience. Thank you.

Please avoid this Toyota dealership for any maintenance or repairs. They literally scam you with their checks because they lie about the amount life in my brake pads. When they checked, they said I only had 2 months left and I had to change it for $800 for only the front brakes. Instead of paying for their overprice service, I got another mechanic to change it for me. They bought new brake pads for me and told me that the old ones had more than 2 years of life. They compared the old and new pads for me as there was little to no wear on my old brakes. They are scamming people like any other mechanics out there. Don't trust them just because it is an "official" Toyota.

This location Has the worst on customer support at the Service department. I’ve called in multiple times for 5 days, left multiple voice mails and no call back or follow up.
The front desk was helpless and couldn’t help with the problem.
It is very unprofessional and straight up disappointing. This experience has motivated me to not get my services done from their service centre. Just horrible.

Normally my expectations of a dealership service dept.are low, both for service and price. Imagine my surprise and delight when Dane took 'ownership' of my 2000 4Runner which needed plenty of TLC with parts hard to find and a long convalescence to recovery. Dane exceeded expectations on his level of service by following up with me before I had to call him.many times and in general doing a great job 'owning' the problem. Pretty darn happy with the price too, thanks Dane!

I would give 0 star if possible. I spent $$$ for servicing my car. Post that DRL, fog lamps are not working, Eco mode indicator not working. Not sure what level of multi point check up was done, as I am visually able to confirm these issues, not sure how many are hidden. Really disappointed with the service after spending $$$. Shared my concerns over email to the service center to fix all those, but no response at all.
I've to visit another service center to fix all those now. Not sure what else is not going to work in the upcoming days. Surely not recommended.

<Update>
After a couple of days, I got a call from the service center and asked me to pay another $150 to diagnose the problems I reported, which is insane! I wanted to talk to the manager, but he refused.

Regular service was done for my Toyota Corolla 2020sxe at Toyota surrey Guildford dr. As I drove my vehicle back home noticed humming sound on and off.
After reporting the defect Toyota Surrey conducted through check but could not diagnose the defect. I reported the matter to GM toyota surrey and I was advised to get back to service centre and they will charge fee for inspection.
It's rediculous and unethical practice to bill the customer for their incomplete service

Horrible experience will never recommend to anyone

Out of all the Jim Pattison dealers in this block, you'd think they have the same pricing if you need tire mount and balance. You can literally save $30 by walking around to see who can do it cheaper. A Toyota doesn't have to go to the Toyota dealer for this so you know.

The reason I visit Jim Pattison Toyota Surrey is they give free car wash after repair. So I visit them but they didn't do it because they just finished up repair end of the day.and they want me to comeback another day for car wash. So I visit them again for car washing. And they break my trucks canopy key. I don't know why. They just need to clean my truck. Anyway they want me to visit the repair shop and fix it and they will pay directly to them for repair it.but they couldn't pay them and they make me paid for it and let me drive all the way back to Surrey to get my money back.what a wasting my times for this stupid happening. I will never go back. Destination Toyota is way better than them.

Amazing team to deal with especially Shawn who helped me with my first new car purchase in Canada. Shawn is an amazing guy to deal with very polite and responsive to your queries.

I just went to dealership to make certain inquiries but Shawn can be given full credit to help me finalise my purchase. Shawn was very helpful in making me understand all options-including choice of model, financing and insurance.

Extremely poor customer service I have ever experienced. I have been to many places and has provided customer service to many customers while working but never felt so bad receiving this bad service. I just went there to inquire about the used cars and new car (Rav 4). I have been directed to meet their sales representative Rashid.

When I met him and showed him my interest for car purchases he instantly talked about proce even without providing and asking enough information.

Moreover rudely he refused to give any information for used cars and when asked for hybrid models he instantly refused to show any option or provided any information about anything.

I am in need of a good car and looking for my option. But I regretted my decision to visit such place. This will be my first visit and will be last ever to such place.

I'm so disappointed from jim pattison toyota. I booked Rav4 white color in starting of June 2021. They told us I'll get it with in 2-3 months. Then In August they told us it's not arrived yet.its coming in September. In September they said they cannot provide Rav4 white, they can give us Rav4 black but in October I said ok that's fine, october23.until today, it's October 22 we did not get any call from them, Today we reach out to them, the sales manager Ryan, and he told us no they don't have any car, we still need to wait another 2 months, then we reach the sales general manager and he said we should go to another dealerships to book the car they can't promise when they can give us the car, even they can give us or not, l mean seriously after waisted my 5 months he is telling me to go to another dealership, ridiculous, this is not the professionalism, I'm so stressed out, I was on maternity leave from last year and I sold my old car now my leave is finish I have to go back to work but I don't know what I do now

Got my oil change done with them. Two days later my battery was dead. No one even checked that it’s due for replacement.
Their service has gone from great to bad.

** need to pay to check batteries? I should have gone to other places.they would do that for free.
By the way, I also spent $299 for detailing, every 2 yrs I come back. Sometimes, you may want to look at your client history before responding to this comment. Nothing changes with my opinion that your service has drastically plummeted. Maybe it's time to review.

Picked up my Toyota RAV4 TRD a couple days ago from Millie and she was very helpful, friendly and answered all my questions throughout the buying process.
The finance managers Anna and Gagan were patient in explaining the finance side and extended warranty.

I would definitely recommend buying cars from Millie and JP Toyota in Surrey!

I visited the dealer for a service. Had a very bad customer service. I would not mention his name here but the rep I was dealing with was very aggrogant. He did not even bother answering any of my questions at all. All he did was mumbling himself over his mask. When I said I did not hear him he stared at me for a second and kept mumbling. I wondered if he was just having a bad day that day? Or did he treat me the way he treated me because I am a visivle minority? Either eay, he should not be providing service at the front line. I now wonder how other people's experience is like with him. Very unfortunate to have him as a service rep for a company like Toyota.

Bought a Tacoma from Rolando and I am very happy with the experience overall! Service was very good, all the members of the team that I had to deal with were friendly and helpful, the facility is big, and they have an excellent selection. The truck we wanted wasn't available, so they facilitated the order, but we didn't have to wait long because they did everything they could to get us into a new truck ASAP. Highly recommend Rolando and the team!

We had a few initial hiccups, but Jeff Reybould, the manager, set things straight by appointing Shawn Goh as our salesperson. Shawn was an effective communicator and very personable. He explained the working of our new vehicle in a very understandable way. Anything we asked of Shawn, he delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend Shawn to any future car buyers. I love Toyota and toyota vehicles they are reliable. Jim Pattison toyota in Surrey however, is very bad. I had a full detailing appointment I went there changed my mind and I wanted just an interior detailing. The front desk guy said it was 139 dollars +tax. However on the work order he hand wrote 178? I asked why? He said Tax and material cost? Suspicious and fishy? Or am I just paranoid?

Have been taking my Toyota to Jim Pattison for the past 3 years wih no issue. Went in for a maintenance service number 3 as recommended. This includes a safety check of all lights. They checked off that the inspection was done. I took my father to pick up the car and as I was leaving in my other car I noticed both headlights were not turning on but I thought it may be due to a daylight setting. An hour later I went to take the car out and noticed in the dark the headlights were still not turning on. Stating you did a safety inspection and not actually performing one is why I gave the one star. Having young children, safety is a number one priority. I have left a message for the service manager. I will update once I get an explanation from them.

Update: Service apologized, got me in right away and rectified this issue. I was satisfied with the response and will continue to go there.

I had a good experience at Jim Pattison Toyota Surrey. I'd like to thanks all team that helped us to get the car. But Saf Hyder was outstanding! We arrived in Canada in December, and I contacted them by email asking about a preowned Kia Sorento. Saf clarified all my questions, and he was waiting for us in front of the dealer. He let me comfortable with making the test drive, pointing out all the aspects about the car, even it was a Kia. When we decided to buy it, he exceeded our expectations in terms I being supportive. We had just ended our quarantine and planning to travel to our final destination the following day with two kids. We were worried, but Saf made the purchase happen in the right way and in the short time available. We are satisfied with our vehicle, and it was possible only because of their effort to assist us. The finance manager, the insurance broker, they are some of the people involved and worked hard on that day.

Buy out a lease should be very simple. But my experience with this location yesterday was nothing but upsetting.

Within 10 minutes I already finish the paperwork with the financial staff. Then, it took a long while to get my new car insurance, because that insurance broker forgot to write down my bank account information before he closed my old account with ICBC. When I left his desk, I was very frustrated and my headache was bad. The last step was picking up my car key from the service department. But, it seems the staffs at the service courter were working as slow as possible. I heard one guy asked the beautiful woman (client) if she is a waitress. And the Joey, the one who told me to come back in 20 minutes to pick up my car key,
never call me to pick up my car key, while I was waiting in front of their courter for almost an hour!
Although I just found another SUV in their parking I am interested to buy, now I will never go back to this location again. The only time I got good service was the day I bought my last SUV from them.

I was there for 11am appointment. The financial manager sent my car for safety check up before he started our paperwork, told me it takes an hour or so. By the time I left the insurance broker's desk, it was about 12pm. I went straight to Joey to pick up my car key, as I was told by the financial manager. (I think this procedure is fine. Why add another step when customers would wait in front of Service counter anyway? !) Joey told me to be back in 20 more minutes, which I did. I saw he finished with one customer, then another.by 1pm, I saw him was about to leave his counter, so I jumped in front of his courter and asked for my car key. And, he said he just brought the car key to the financial manager. Ha! I was standing in front of their counter for 40 minutes.
Before I left your parking lot, I called your your service Dept.manager and left a complaint. He never called back.

By the way, on the day I leased my SUV, another insurance broker from the same office made mistakes with my insurance papers too. Maybe you should choose another insurance office to work with.

I bought brand new Sienna, Camry and Rav4 in the last 20 years. I am sure another dealership will be happy to offer me better service for my 4th Toyota.

Dealt with a clueless individual named John today. I called ahead of time inquiring about a truck and was told it was available. I advised him I would be there in a hour I I live I mission. I then arrive and wait 20mins for home only to find out it was sold and who knows when. He had my phone number and could have phoned to let me know that it sold, or did some further research to actually make sure it was available. He didn’t even offer a apology. I will never recommend this place as I was offered no apology or compensation for Johns mistake. I would give zero stars if I could as one is too many to offer this dealership while they employe incompetent people like John

I called the service department January 29 gave the parts number and book an appointment for today. Surprisingly when I came this morning the from guy service dept told me that I didn't order any parts and I should pay it first. If the lady from the service department told me to pay it first then I should drop by and paid it the same day (jan 29) but didn't inform me at all. I received call yesterday to remind me about my appointment for today which is good. I wasted my time coming today, as a customer we are paying the full amount of your service and this is what I get out from it. I'm very disappointed with the service, of course they asked me to come back the next day which is I'm not available. Stop wasting the time of your customers and do your job properly!

When you come to Jim Pattison Toyota Surrey, go straight to Gary. He is knowledgeable and genuinely courteous. Gary, along with sales manager Ryan, gave me a fair deal on my trade-in after some negotiation, and the finance guy - think his name was Kevin - also worked hard to work in a warranty and to get my payments to within my budget. I left feeling very good about my purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially Gary. He only needs to learn to drive a stick and he’d get 5 stars.

Extremely disappointed. My husband and I went to this location today looking for a RAV4. A South Asian salesman approached to us, asked us about what we were looking for, told us to take a look around and that he'll be back in a moment. We waited for him and he never came back. Next thing you know he's helping somebody else and disappeared. We ended up leaving the dealership.

Finally made my mind to buy a 2014-2018 Highlander, but was totally put off by the behavior and attitude of the Salesman and the desk staff. He showed us a couple of High Trim Highlanders in the $45k range, We told him we are looking for something in $30k range, His response "we don't have.bye". Is this normal customer service?

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a vehicle for the first time from a dealership. Mohammad, the poduct specialist was very courteous, friendly and helpful.

Review 1: Ryan Madronio is the best sales manager I ever met! I went to ‘Jim Pattison Toyota’ to purchase my first car in September and had a terrible experience. Fortunately, I met Ryan who listened to my concerns patiently, empathized with me, and provided a terrific customer service. I personally have not been at this location. But my pre-visit experience with their customer service is the worse I have ever experienced.

I have a Recall Note from Transport of Canada telling me that I have to get my airbag checked. So I tried to call in to book an appointment. In total, I tried dozen times within a span of 1 week. Every time I call no one answer and the answering machine from Service department came on “your call is important to us.bla bla bla “. I left message. They never call back.

I finally got someone on the phone on my last attempt. She ask me for my VIN so I gave her the number. The VIN I gave her apparently was an incomplete one. So I said let me go and get it. She didnt want to wait so she said call back when I have the full VIN. I find it very rude. Worse customer service I have experienced. You dont ask your client to call back if you have to wait for client to get something you need for a couple of minutes.

I called back 3 times right after I found the full VIN number. Same stupid answering machine came on.

Thanks God I didnt make an appointment with them. For a full service dealership like this one, who doesnt employed skilled receptionist, who seems to also have lack of employees to follow up with customer, I will never go to this dealership!

I think with an average 3.8stars, it is still a pretty high rating for this dealership.

I will give this one a 1star rating and go somewhere else to fix my car.

Dropped by this dealership for the first time on Sunday, Jan 10, hoping to test drive a new RAV4. My daughter and I wandered around the lot and showroom for over 20 mins, browsing at various cars including the RAV4. Not one staff member approached us so I finally decided to ask at the reception desk. I asked the young male working the desk if we could test drive a vehicle. He left in search of a sales advisor, only to return a few minutes later to say no one was available. I acknowledge that they seemed quite busy on this particular day. However, in my many years of car buying, this was about the first time that I've heard of no salesperson being available a car lot, lol! I guess this place doesn't need any more business anyway.

I had a purchase RAV4 XLE Premium today. They did a great job! Excellent customer service and friendly staffs! I would like to especially thank Sunil, Rolando and Kevin. Also The manager was so professional. I highly recommend this place.

With the New Year, I decided it was time to trade in my Highlander for a new 2020 model. I have been in the sales/marketing industry for over 30 years and can be very critical of the customer care and sales process from first contact to post product delivery. From my experience, more than not, the customer experience falls apart somewhere along this sales path. This definitely was not the process or experience with Jeff Raybould and his team at Jim Pattison Toyota Surrey! From Devin in the service department, who helped me with service work on my older model Highlander to Dave in sales and Anna in finance, topped off with Jeff’s patience and fully informative explanation of the numbers on the new car; the entire process has re-educated me on what a car buying experience should be. This positive experience with Jeff and team has restored my perspective and confidence in the car buying experience as compared to my past 4 previous purchases at other major dealerships. Thanks Jeff, Devin, Dave and Anna.

Took my car for body work and Grant was really helpful and customer service driven. Any problems I had, they were dealt with and resolved.
