I went for a drive testing, and the guy I who I was in contact was off on that day. So, a lady showed me the car. Each question I asked her, she answered with an exclamation mark! Like I should have been a car expert and not requested from her! I also asked several times how long I had for the driving test, and she said, whatever you like! So, I drove for about an hour to experience all the features and qualities, But they called me to ask why I was not back.
And the worst thing that happened was the email they sent me, which was so disrespectful because I said I don’t want to spend a hundred thousand for a car which has 40,000 km on it!
I am really sorry for a luxury brand without luxury customer service!

I have bought two vehicles here at fair price. Recently I went to look for a third vehicle to buy here and I want to thank Kevin for the time he spent as he tried his best to find me a deal although I ended up purchasing elsewhere.

2nd official car maintenance-
Car just crossed 22000km and was send for service. After only 10 months of using the car I am told I need to buy new tires - I asked what's the expected milage on these tires recommended from Continental (producer) - I'm told 80.000 miles - approximately 129000 km. So I should have another 100000 left to drive? ! The rude service manager told me that the tiny hybrid battery adds extra weight so the tires are worn faster and (!) that Lexus cars have the same issue? ! If I don't like the answer that my problem - I was asked to call Continental to talk to them?

These guys are the best bar none, their sales group is great and their repair shop is spot on. I just took possession of my 4th vehicle from this group and could not be happier. Kevin and Gordon are so good to deal with, highly recommend that you check this crew out if you have not already

I bought my first vehicle in 14 yrs, a used Volvo S80, and had a wonderful buying experience with Savanah. She provided a pleasant, non pressured, and thorough process, and always responded quickly to requests for information - even providing her personal contact. Although it was a 12 yr old vehicle I was buying, my experience was as though I was getting one of the showroom models. There were many small repairs and service maintenance included. I highly recommend buying a car from JP North Van Volvo, and make sure to ask for Savanah!

Get your used car double and triple checked elsewhere as the dealership won't take responsibility for any issues that arise. If you can actually get a timely appointment with the service department, they are incompetent at best.

RECEIVED A DIRTY CAR WITH MY WHITE LEATHER STAINED.
Great buying experience, awkward visit at the service. When I arrived I waited 15 min to be seen (booked an appointment for specific hour). Next day no update no promised phone call. Left messages, no response.
Day 3; My phone rings every 45 min like crazy, when I finally picked I am asked “when will you bring the replacement car back”?
I didn’t want to drive their “replacement” car as it was taking 16.5L /100km and biggest one they had? !
Finally I pick up the car, all dirty. Not washed not protected inside the car, my white leather stained, centre consoles filled with grease, surfaces are all sticky. The car has fingerprints all over the dash.
Car looks like a teenager had a “good weekend” inside. The response from the manager - “It’s just a bit of dirt” - this was my first and last visit here at JIM PATTISON NORTH VANCOUVER.

Could not have received more help if I'd asked for it. First time in, and all I needed done was dealt with there and then. Basically, the service folks just went about the jobs I needed done, and without issue. No sales pitches, no feeling of being anything but a valued customer.

I had a fantastic experience! Anxiety Free, low pressure, informative, pleasant and I found something I LOVE Allan Balderson is an exceptional salesperson and I highly recommend him.

Very satisfied with the service I have received here on multiple occasions. A friendly and proactive service department that I actually enjoy dealing with. Strongly recommended.

I had visited this dealership when looking to buy either a Volvo XC40 or Audi Q3.we went with the Q3 and it was a disaster from Day 0! The Audi Langley dealership was perhaps the worst one I've ever dealt with and they really did a number on us.fortunately, Greg at JP Volvo stayed in touch to check in with us even after we went with the Q3. I told him what a mistake it was and how I wished we could reverse the decision and go with the XC40. After about a month, Greg and Andrew worked something out that made it happen - Greg was nothing but supportive the whole time, and the level of attention and service we received was beyond what I expected. I've owned Volvo's in the past and will likely stick with them - and most definitely will stick with this dealership! I highly recommend the XC40 if you are looking for a luxury compact SUV. It is what a luxury vehicle should be. And Greg? Top notch! Thanks folks, for going above and beyond!

I LOVE all the staff at NV Volvo! My husband and I are expecting baby #2 in a few weeks and we figured it’s time for us to get an SUV, we’ve had our eyes on the XC90 for quite some time now! Purchased a used car from here that we saw online, after talking with the sales person, Greg was very helpful in getting us all the details, pictures and info so that we could put a deposit on the car to purchase online and then we picked up a few days later. I took almost 5 months to decide which manufacturer, make and model to purchase for my brand new car. It was somewhat concerning the spectrum of car knowledge and customer service I experienced across 6 different manufacturers and 8-9 dealerships.

Went in last year for a quote on a couple parts for my S40. Parts desk was quick and helpful. Went over to the showroom after seeing a red s60 outside and asked if I could test drive it. I made it clear that I wasn't buying because I'm a college student and just wanted to try it out and the lovely ladies at the counter said "it's ok, if you don't drive it now how will you know if you like it when you're able to buy it? " and let me take it for a test drive. The guy who went with me was a gem too, friendly and helpful. Treated me way better than the Surrey location.

Great team with great service. When I graduate in a few years and begin in my field I'll definitely purchase from here.

Wow! We just had an amazing experience at Jim Pattison Volvo. It is a long story but, we found the car we wanted, made a deposit set up financing and the delivery date. Unfortunately, we had to change our plans and could not take the car. The folks there were fantastic, completely understanding and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I can absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great deal on a Volvo. It's all about the people and they are the best!

Looking to buy a new/ used volvo with a trade. Sales guy was good but the dealership absolute low ball for trade. Guess thats why Patterson is a billionaire.

We really enjoyed our experience dealing with a professional sales manager like Kevin Speirs and his team during the process of purchasing our new SUV. Kevin was direct to the point, highly qualified sales manager, detail oriented and customer centric. We also dealt with Gordon Ray, an industry veteran and sales consultant. He took his time and there's no pressure on us to make a decision.
Coming from BMW, I was pretty impressed by the manager’s professionalism and staff’s knowledge and courtesy.

Parts department closed at 20 to five. I wish I could walk out of work early on my shift too. I called in beforehand and drove 60 km to get these parts. Lady at the front desk tried to help but unable to assist, not her fault.

Update September 2019:
We always receive great service at Jim Pattison Volvo in North Van. We purchased a used vehicle in 2015 which ended up having a significant issue outside of the warrantee period. The service department took up our case with the vehicle manufacturer and resolved everything to our satisfaction. The process was completely seamless for us. Special thanks to Doug and Mandy!

November 2015: I was in search of a car. Open to new or used and on a whim went to Jim Pattison North Vancouver Volvo where I met Gordon Ray. Gordon was exceptional through the whole car buying process and made me feel like a valued customer. When I bought my car Gordon spent time going through all the features and ensured I knew as much about my car when I left as possible. He was patient, kind and fun to deal with. This Volvo is fantastic! The cars are beyond safe, gorgeous, and thoughtfully designed and the service provided by Volvo is incredible. Just today I had the service engine light come on and despite the service center being booked solid and it being the end of the day, Darren said I could bring the car in to have it looked at to make sure it was still safe to drive before they left for the day. This is incredible service that is so rare in today’s businesses. Thank you so much Darren and the Volvo team!
