I like to sit in this cafe and see the beautiful view from the window. There is a large selection of pastries and good coffee.

We met one of our best friends Vida in JJ Bean and had a great time with her, she is such a kind and energetic barista and kindly invited us to coffee and muffins? You have to have a coffe there with fantastic view of Dollar Road Waterfront Park

The people who work and run this cafe are absolutely lovely and wonderful. They provide above and beyond quality to the service they gift to each customer. Highly recommend this cafe! And the coffee is the best!

Great friendly staff, great coffee. Could be a bit warmer in the winter but overall love it here. The muffins are always so good and the staff are so nice.

My matcha late lately is coming without matcha, it is basically milk with very light green colour, they have to make sure their standards are met consistently between the locations and their staff is doing a good job. $6 for milk only is too much.

Service can be improved as servers and baristas are all super young and slow.

However the view and quality and ambience makes up for it!

They charge 25c for to go cups. That charge is only required in City of Vancouver. Once asked, they said its company policy. Its not a policy, its the law in Vancouver not in North Vancouver.

I know the locals would love to support this new coffee shop and jj bean has a great name but wow! How wrong can you set up the shop. From too loud music to freezing air and room temperature and then the acoustic are terrible so you need to yell your order. The location is a gift with an elevated view of the water and the other shore so why not make it so uncomfortable to relax and enjoy. Hope they can. Coffee is good but not enough for the annoyance of the in Cafe experience.

Nice to have a cafe back in the neighbourhood, even better that it’s the JJ brand (because of the franchises, JJ is great on all fronts). Good space with small tables inside, small patio with 1 or 2 tables outside.

Pretty gutted, the house blend is bland, weak and pretty tasteless. I got a large Americano in which the cup was only filled half way so I asked for a bit more water in which it was filled to the top which then I had no room for milk. I also think 70 cents extra for dairy-free milk alternatives is a bit of a jip since your literally using a dash at most
I was surprised at how good their baked snacks look, which is a major step up from other competitors. The raised outdoor seating area is a nice place for coffee and socializing.

As with most JJ Bean coffee shops the coffee and baked goods are quite good! Unfortunately, like most other JJ Beans the the staff have a tendency to acknowledge regulars first and I have often had to wait extended periods of time while the staff had conversations with other customers. I just want to grab my coffee and go, not hear about other patron's life stories.
