Honestly, it's hard to find healthy sandwiches in downtown Vancouver or even juices I had to go to the mall to get a juice. Anyway, the cashier was very friendly and helpful as I was having difficulty with credit cards from the US. I've had that problem since I've been here I'm going to think I brought extras besides money. I ordered a chicken sandwich to go and it's very tasty now that I've had it. It's clean, bright and their coffee smells great. If you want to go there be sure to call as the hours are so different in downtown Vancouver in every place as many close by 5: 00 p.m.

Not a coffee drinker but it seems coffee is all right as it is always busy for morning rush. Expect around five minutes too have your coffee ready as there are plenty of staff on duty taking out orders continuously. Hot Chocolate was pretty good and they can adjust to your liking. The pastries look very yummy. I guess I’ll have to try them another day

You have to love this place. Inside the Marine building. The food and coffee are very nice. The only downside are early closing hours which is a bit inconvenient if you need to meet up or work a bit later,

I am a huge fan of JJ bean. I always recommend their mocha. It's the right balance of sweetness without losing the chocolate flavor or clashing with the taste of the espresso. (not a sweet sweet drink).
They have a good selection of vegan items including some tasty muffins.

We had a great breakfast bagel sandwich and scone from here. The coffee was excellent. Will be back!

Good coffee, good service, nice deco, but enough seats. Few comfy armchairs, but the place is not made for people who want to drink a few coffees, eat something and relax while reading a book or working on their laptop or tablet. It made for nearby workers who don't have more than 10 to 15 minutes. Crowdy and a bit stressful. That's why I gave a 3/5.

Always my first stop after getting off the West Coast express and where I killed time before my shift when I worked downtown. My favorite espresso for years with sweeter undertones. Basic foods menu but it's reaaally good and company made/baked in house. The desserts and coffee are the best cozy combos in the winter.

The atmosphere is nice, I really like the place and the coffee was good, however the staff are not friendly, specially the Barista who makes the drinks

Second time I've gotten their cinnamon bun and the icing is not melted. At least the first time it was spread around. This time it literally looks slapped on. Really disappointed. Only get their Chai Latte. The icing is also gritty and NOT smooth ‍️

Edit: their Chai Latte is also a hit or miss. As shown in the picture it's 90% milk. Has next to no Chai. If I wanted a $7 cup of milk I'd have gone elsewhere

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is the slight attitude you get from SOME staff. It's not bad though. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. Quality of all the food and COFFEE is great. I'm really getting tired of the preemptive tip. Have people really earned 15% tip because they handed me a muffin? No. Still, I'm here very often

JJ Bean is a near daily ritual of grabbing a cup of joe and being tempted by the variety of baked goods (massive cookies and muffins, to name a couple) on display. The staff are always incredibly friendly, even when they are swamped with 5 specialty drinks waiting to be made with a variety of milks. Your wait will soon pass as you will be easily distracted by the architecturally stunning characteristics of this location, housed in the art-deco style Marine Building.

JJ beans is one my fave coffee shops in Vancouver. From the layout, to interior design and overall, it offers very pleasant environment to chat/work/study. Their coffee is great, but the food is marvelous! Super delicious. I love their scones and just tried salted caramel cookie recommended by my friend. Sooo yummy! Getting another one pretty soon!

Staff recommended an apple fritter cruffin. It was delicious. Light and fluffy pastry, not overly sweet and just the right size. Don't feel over indulged.

Great coffee. Also one of the best venues to hold quick meetings. It's accessible and usually very easy to find a table and chairs

I think that this review is biased as I was there during the conference and the place was packed. But it took 500.000 buttons pushed to get two espressos ordered and, while no one was ordering anything, quite some time to get them. Coffee was ok and the person at bar was still very nice.

A particularly nice branch due to the location (attached to the marine building) nice muffins, dropped a star as the coffee was just ok

Great spot. Bustling but the service is fast and friendly. Not always easy to get a seat but people do come and go quickly.

The location is prime! What a great looking cafe they have. Stylish, lots of spots upstairs to sit or to work. Can't say the coffee or drink options are great - and if anything they're a bit over priced. But, you won't get a better atmosphere to hang out in!

One of my favorite coffees in Vancouver area. Amazing mochas, great baristas and comparably low wait time during rush hours

I'm only giving this place two stars because the cashier who took my order was very friendly and the drink I ordered tasted good even though it took forever to receive it. My problem with this location is that I ordered my drink before at least 5 other people and they all received their drink before me. The Baristas response to my complaint was "oh Americanos only take 30 seconds to make. " That's great, but you should still be making my drink before the people behind me. They can wait the two minutes it takes to make my drink.

I love this location! People are nice, rarely crowded, and rarely runs out of your favourite sweets. The price is so reasonable (please don’t raise it, love). Totally recommend over Starbucks, Blenz Coffee and other cafes

Honestly the best chocolate chunk cookies in Vancouver. (any JJ Bean Location). Somehow they’re always warm and gooey. Perfect crunch-to-chewy texture and they don’t skimp on the chocolate. $3 for a large cookie. Beats out any of the fancy bakeries by far. Almond milk lattes are great too! They also have good grab n go sandwiches and wraps (incl.vegan options) and other baking items but honestly I just go for the cookies.

I'm not a coffee drinker and I love JJ Bean! We bought some beans on our way through as well as a coffee to go, and wow, great flavour! I usually only drink latte's or chai etc, but I think I may need to start drinking coffee on a daily basis because this is just too good!

Good coffee. Unfortunately the food took so long I'd already finished my coffee, and then I received the wrong item anyway. Seems popular so hopefully that's a rare occurrence.

Good JJ bean location near waterfront. Great hot coffee here. They have a decent upstairs seating location as well.
