JMK MAHAL Restaurant

Just find this new restaurant a month ago try samosas and Bhatura they were good. But today I ordered papdi chat and Amristsari kulcas! Chat had lots of yougart barely any chatni and kulcha was made with whole wheat just exactly like Alo Parantha. I called the restaurant and complained the staff had no authority to make any decision what to do in this case. Management never approached me to solve the problem. Next time I will be hesitant to recommend this restaurant.

The takeout portion is getting small and smaller. Rice pulao got nothing except shredded carrots and again smaller portions. There is no receipt in the bag that shows how much they charge for each food items. Felt like overcharged.

Worst service ever.

Not the first time the food is delayed, i arrived 45 mins after placing the order still had to wait for another 25 mins at restaurant. Person can starve to death by the time they prepare entire order.

By the time i get food every time one or 2 items are always cold out of entire order.

Probably this was last time i ordered here.

Food is delicious and staff is so friendly. I just felt like home in restaurant bcz of cheerful environment.

I ordered the chicken tikka masala
It had 4 pieces of chicken in it
It was all peppers & onions
It should be called the peppers & onions masala
I have a crazy idea maybe put chicken in your chicken dishes

I wish they had more stars so I can rated higher then 5 stars, honestly can't get any better value, service or taste than what JMK Mahal offers literally finguer liking good.

Stopped in w the wife for there daily buffet 11-3 was surprised how busy it was till we tasted rhe food w fresh naan brought table side it was a very enjoyable experience and has great value.everything was tasty and the items that were emptied w topped up quickly we will Def return soon.

Sub par, slow service. Way better places in the neighbourhood where I would rather spend my money

It was delicious, the food was so tasty and favourable.

Very good food and portions for the price. We have become a regular. We have tried their samosa, dal maharani, mulligatawny soup, Punjabi kadhi, channa bhature, chicken korma and butter chicken. All excellent. They do take a long time get the order ready. 30-40 mins so remember to call ahead of picking up.

Oh gosh I was hoping this place was still good. I used to order all the time before the fire. Switched to a different restaurant and I wish I had just stayed with them. The Butter chicken tastes like tomatoe soup and watery. I'm so disappointed and won't go back.

I go to this restaurant every week, I like the food very much. It gives the whole Indian traditional tastes in the food. I do both dine-in and takeout and it’s very much affordable as well. The staff is very friendly and the owners are really nice. I would definitely recommend to go there.

We are so glad they are open again after 1.5 years closed.
We were sad when the fire happened in 2021 and they closed. We love our East Indian food and tried all the other Indian rest.close to us but non of them measured up to JMK Mahal. So we stopped going for indian food for the last year. Just a couple of months ago they opened back up. Have been dine in with nice atmosphere there and ordered take out many times. LOVE IT great food great prices and the staff and owners are number 1.glad to have you back

Purchased butter chicken and chicken tikka masala last week. Gravy was good, however the main ingredient “chicken” had no flavour.

Wanted to check out this place because of its good reviews. But we were disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Although the gravy was good, they put boiled chicken cubes in both the curries. For the chicken tikka masala, the chicken cubes were mixed with some sort of a weird color (perhaps to give it the look of tandoori chicken). Anyone with a slight inkling about Indian food would know that using boiled chicken cubes in these dishes would end up altering the taste of the entire dish and is thus considered a strict no-no. I have only seen this happening when a vegetarian cook prepares non-vegetarian food. Would not be ordering non-vegetarian dishes from this outlet any more.

Best Indian food in town! The food is outstanding, the service is great, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. By far the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend.

Visited today because of the recommendation of our fellow Maple Ridge neighborhood. Great food delicious dessert. All these for $15.00 for Buffett! Highly recommended!

There's Indian food then there's JMK Mahal. It's the best Indian food I've ever tasted, so fresh and delicious every time. And the staff are great too highly recommend.

We sure missed you while you were repairing the restaurant. We just ordered tonight, thank your driver for driving here in this awful weather. And thanks for making our delicious dinner. It was exceptional!
