Joe's BBQ boat

A beautiful experience. Doesn't includes food or cuttlery, so be aware of that. Also, alcohol prohibited. We rented it for the sunset hour and was an amazing view. One member of our party felt sick at the beginning, so we had to go back to drop her and then leave again. I recomend not coming if you are easily motion sick, or not to eat. Also consider bringing ginger candies or something for nausea. The rest of my party was OK, we had fun, cooked ribs successfully within 1 hour, and even though at the beginning was a little hard to get it, the driving was easy. The boat is not fast, so don't worry about that. Remember not drinking much liquids, since you will not be able to go washroom at least for 2 hours. I recommend.

I suggest you jump on this activity ASAP. We had a group of 8 people and booked the sunset hours, 6: 30-9pm. We watched the sun go down and bbq food in the middle of false creek. The boat goes super slow but it’s the perfect flow for a couple hours on the water. The boat fit 8 of us with tons of room left. We didn’t want to get off, we had so much fun.

We had an awesome time. This is such a great idea. Super easy booking process and great customer service. We are coming back again in a few days

BBQ BOAT! I was thrilled to book bbq boat this summer. Booking process was super easy online and the boat itself was great - so spacious! 2 hours does go by fast though, so make sure you bring food that's easy to whip up.

Nice experience to have a BBQ out on the water in False Creek. Remember to prep your own food, and bring a cooler with all your stuff. Bring some extra utensils as well.

Awesome idea and fun experience, however propane not working properly and took 2 hrs to BBQ burgers. When we docked, employee admitted this has been in problem in past and suggested we contact owner. I sent email and it has been 3 weeks with no response.

Disappointed by our experience. The boat lost all power, so we called the helpline on two occasions: “It’s just the current”/ “you can be late back” they told us. We ended up having to tow the boat back ourselves. $280 for that? !

We had an absolute blast on the boat last night. Fit 8 guys really well, BBQ worked perfectly and no issues with the boat battery.

You will definitely have the slowest boat in the Creek haha but a very fun adventure with my friends. I will certainly use the service again.

This is just a bbq boat rental, remember to bring your own food, utensils, and drinks! We had a lot of fun. Personal tip is: don’t bring food that requires long cooking time.

Visited this place yesterday and very satisfied with the experience. The employees were very nice and patient. The boat trip was really fun. We definitely will go back.

Poor experience as boats stopped working within 10 minutes of starting. We called the emergency helpline and they made us tighten the propeller ourselves. Upon fixing it, the boat briefly worked for 30 seconds and stopped again. Had to wait over 40 mins to be rescued upon making a call. Lastly, the gas in the BBQ ran out half way through, causing us to throw away raw food kept in the BBQ.

We loved it. The service was great, our boat and bbq worked well. It took us about 40 minutes to get to science world, and about an hour to get back.

We went out on Sunday August 16th. Rented 2 boats and had an awesome time. BBQ worked great and hooked to a bigger tank so no worries about running out of gas. Batteries for the motors were fully charged as well. Boats were very clean and lots of storage under each seat. Umbrellas are nice touch as it was one of the hottest days on record. Very reasonable rates, especially when filling the boat with the 8 maximum. We will be back!

Awesome experience. Must do and worth it! Go with your close friends for fun and laughter. We went all the way to science world and back. We BBQ chicken (cut in small pieces so its done faster), prawns and salmon skewers and had a salad! Can't wait to do it again next year!
