Zero stars. Guy has an attitude, moves at a glacial pace and can’t count. Place is a dump, should have been bulldozed to the ground 20 years ago by the City.

At times, we do have bad days. And most of my visits (past 18 years) fell on the
gentleman good days? ;-) Always a pleasure to promote small local businesses. Convenience = slightly less $$$ for the service. Cheers! It's your call.

Total rip off. Handed the guy my beverage containers and he went to the back, he came back out and handed me the money. I said it should be 10 cents per item and he says 6 cents? How is this allowed?
40 percent profit on something that I already paid for.

I used this place for the first time a couple days ago. I was helped by a man who was between middle age and senior. He didn't say anything to me, just counted my cans and handed me the money. I didn't count all my empties before handing it over but I drink mostly one type of juice in a can so I have a decent estimate of what to expect. He gave me about 1/2 of what I expected. Fortunately, I didn't bring a lot to him. I spend a lot of time in the neighborhood and thought it would be good to try a local small business but the experience is dissapointing when someone takes advantage like that. I see there were other reviews that had the same short change issue so it would seem there it is a chronic issue. I am posting this not out of spite but to warn others.

They use to be good but now they only give you a quarter of the price of bottles and cans.

Drove up to the place, MAN was sitting there to inspect what goes in / out, very courteous/ professional. No fees No hassle.

Good little scam hes got going. Her gave me $6, I returned the money and took my cans elsewhere for over $15

Should be called Bottle ripoff depot. Go to Return It Depot. You'll get what its worth.

He doesn't pay the same as the Encorp places. About 1/2. Try the one at 7th & Ontario instead

Don’t go. He ripped me and my son off. They pay almost half the actual cost of the return for a bottle. I asked and he pays 6 cents on a 10 cent bottle.

Bottles are only worth $0.03 each instead of $0.05 here. Owner didn’t say anything until I found out when I hopped back to my car.
