Twice recently we've been in the store and the produce and meat shelves were bare. Most things that are an advertised sale are picked clean. It has gone downhill a lot in the past 6-8 months. I know that there are supply issues, but surely they were bad a year ago too.
This store used to be our usual grocery store but we've increasingly started shopping elsewhere.
It wouldn't hurt the cashiers (not all of them) to smile once in a while. They don't need to give me a dirty look when I try to smile and give them a cheerfull greeting.

Prices are much cheaper than the other, that's why we don't mind driving to Invermere

Like the name says. No Frills but it has most of the grocery products I want and better prices than other grocery stores

I don’t ever leave a bad review anywhere and I don’t expect much from anyone as long as I get my groceries. However, today i greeted the cashier and got no response back, then I get asked if I want a bag and it gets thrown at me and then the cashier just walks away from the booth, almost like I wasn’t welcome there. Absolutely disappointed and left with no fuzz.

The shelves if this store are very cleaned out, no bread left by dinner time except the expensive natural type stuff. Meat selection was thin, and not a lot of produce variety (the produce present was good quality). Staff were friendly, prices were good. Store is clean.
Visited Wednesday in mid August.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
For a small town and a location where more than half of the customer traffic that comes to this store are NOT LOCALs, one would expect a half decent service from Front End Staff.
The Front End Cashier that helped us didn't greet nor made eye contact, and was shoving our groceries like they were garbage, attitude like he doesn't wanna be there. HE did the same with the person behind us.

Basically it's a smaller version of Superstore without the non-food items no clothing stuff like that it is a good visit store was clean staff was friendly at checkout

We visit here once a month to stock up on all the bulk items and school snacks. Awesome savings

I would've given this store 5 stars but for the extremely rude and likely racist treatment I received from the cashier, Jess. I was friendly and polite and asked how her day was going. No answer. No smile, not a word during our entire interaction. Didn't ask if I needed bags, although it was clear that I did. Didn't ask if I had a PC Optimum card. Thrust the receipt at me without a word. She asked these questions of both the people ahead and behind me. She was polite to the people checking out before me and after me. As a racialized person, the only conclusion I can draw is that our interaction has to do with the color of my skin. After my experience, I came to read reviews and note that several of the reviews complain of racism by the staff. I would expect better from staff but also from management and ownership. Not sure that I would return again. Disappointing as the store itself was clean, well-stocked and prices competitive.

Very rude person, was only asking about a product that was sold out.
Other people in shopping isle heard it too.

Cashier Sandra or Sonya, something that starts with an “S”. Is particularly unpleasant. Awful attitude and tone towards customers, thinks she’s funny with her snide remarks but is just incredibly bitter and rude. She was more worried about rushing us through checkout to flirt with the young man behind us than making sure the machine was working properly for payment. Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest I can rate. “No Frills” more like “No People Skills”.

Sometimes, on weekends, all the visitors clean out the mushrooms and stuff, but otherwise it's just a grocery store

Today I learned that hospitality is a Frill, and this location severely lacks it.

The team members at this location were scarce, and 2/3 of the people we interacted with were snappy and seemed annoyed that we wanted to buy groceries.

Their line up queue is about 120 feet long and completely roped off, so you have to walk past the entire frozen, ice cream and seasonal chocolate aisle to get to the cash. This is especially annoying, as this means the customers shopping in this section are over crowded, as are those in line.

As well, I would appreciate not having to walk through an area densely populated with children to get to the check out.

While you will save money here, I would recommend considering the price tag on your enjoyment before coming to this No Frills.

Great place to stock up on basics before a week of skiing. Super affordable and great selection.

Our first time in the area, and we're glad that there's no frills here due to the price point and the generally good selection. There's no feels did not disappoint on either count. Despite the covid restrictions, there were no long lines and everyone were respectful and adhering to protocols.

Kinda chaotic, plywood on the upper walls upon entry.little getto looking on first impression. Prices good though

My family has a cabin in Windermere and we believe this is the best place in the valley to get your groceries! Great quality, selection, and prices!

We shop at this store frequently and have always been looked after exceptionally well!
Store maintained also very well.

Great place but the only downfall is there is never toilet paper in stock. I have went many times during the pandemic and never in stock, yet everywhere else has it available.

Out of so many things. Shelves were bare in many places and it did not seem well organized or laid out. It's ok at best.

Joes No Frills was great! In this crazy time they where working hard to keep the shelves stocked. Every till had hand sanitizer and disinfecting spray to keep the tills clean.

Good place to buy stuff in Radium. I note some prices have gone up (pet food). But that's life I guess. Otherwise, it's fine.

Came here for a few very regular grocery items and they either didn't carry the product or was sold out of literally everything I came here for. Prices, however are very good

Standard NoFrills, a very common place to shop for locals (or it seemed as the staff greeted almost everyone by name).

Very well priced.staff member even gave us advice on what to do while visiting down here. Amazing service

Very happy friendly efficient staff. Its a great place to go hiking - you get a good workout trekking from your car, past the abyss of 8 empty desigated prime accesible parking stalls and after a short breather by the entrance you can clock up a couple of km just getting milk and bread. If I don't feel like hiking then i go to AG.

They are clean, and some things are cheaper than going to sobeys but they dont have very much variety. I only get a couple of things here that I can't get at other stores in town so I'm not there very often, maybe once a month or so. It's usually evening then and sometimes they dont have enough tills open so I'll be on line with 2 things behind people who have buggies full of items. They are friendly staff

Middle aged female cashier with the purple hair and glasses was rude/condescending for the most minor of reasons. Was greatly disrespectful (and might I suspect, racist). Aside from that, the experience there is superb!

Great store, wonderful fresh produce and good variety of dry goods. Lovely staff, good prices and selection. No fresh flowers.

This is a great place to shop when in Invermere / Radium / Fairmont area. Going to the Condo for a stay, pickup here the milk, eggs, pop, fruits and veggies.

Place is clean and staff are ok and helpful. But I like this place because they stock up on BC whitefish: stuff you cannot just find anywhere.

Very good. The parking lot has been cleaned of all the winter garbage and is pleasant to enter the store. New doors were were put in and work great. Lots of staff and room to shop for for what ever you need.

They don’t take visa and the service at the till was so rude and unprofessional, I won’t bother returning. Cheap prices shouldn’t substitute good service.
