Reserved well in advance for a birthday dinner. Waitress was too busy serving a big group. Ordered a second drink that never came, wanted to order dessert because it was a birthday.but the waitress never came back. Finally waited around to get our bill which also took forever. Burgers were good, fries were cold.

Brett (our wonderful server) and the rest of the staff were fantastic. We got amazing, personalized service. We went to the restaurant to celebrate a special occasion (my graduation) and it felt like the entire staff was celebrating with us. There was complimentary sparkling wine at the door, a complimentary tequila shot for me (yay!), and they even brought us another order of yam fries because there was a slight (basically nonexistant) mishap with the first order. The food was AMAZING. And for dessert, they went above and beyond to make it special. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Our server Paul was outstanding! He was one of the best, most professional servers I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at the Eiffel Tower, Michelin restaurants and everything in between. If this is how Paul servers everyone… he’ll be moving up the ladder very quickly. Keep up the great work.

Brett was so amazing! He is personable friendly and professional. Gave great recommendations for dinner and dessert too! We chose the donuts and when they came out there was a happy birthday wish written on the plate so it tasted even better! Brett was such a joy to have as a waiter! Thanks for a great birthday dinner! Coming back to JOEY Coquitlam today after being out of town for a decade was a treat! The greeting at the hostess desk, the table selection, the service by Zan and the food was second to none. The place is just as I experienced 10 years ago! AWESOME!

Applies were great and dinner was as well. Chicken Park with Pomodora Spaghetti. There was enough to take for my lunch the next day. Great portion sizes.

Our waiter Paul made it a more enjoyable and fun experience he was so nice, and gave really good service!

Great restaurant with dellicious food. Another great thing is you can actually have a conversation without having to shout over the overly loud piped in music.

Me and my wife had an incredible dinner the other night, the food was cooked perfectly and our waitress was amazing. Mariah i believe her name was, it was as tho she could read our minds, when ever we needed anything she was already there. Very polite service and above and beyond hospitality, went in for the food will be going back for the service 10/10

I have been a long time Joey’s lunch customer. I went yesterday with my wife and daughter and we had a bitter experience. My butcher sandwich was chewy and couldn’t finish it. I have informed the waiting staff, which by the way was really nice (paid the 20%tip) did not remove the amount from the bill. Went home, my wife and daughter had both food poisoning simptoms (crazy stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness). The only things they both had were the fish tacos (which were very tasty and all the time a favourite dish there). Called Joey to let them know that so others will not have same faith. Again, loved the place and I will gladly return in the future when they resolve their problems. As a customer I expect to have great food when we pay $180 for 3 people.

Haven't been there for long time. I went for appy hour with friends, food tasty with good portion but just little bit pricey for appy menu. Good services.

Went with a party of four to celebrate a birthday. Management was very accommodating to our wishes. Food was great as were drinks with service that was second to none. Highly recommend!

Our waitress was wonderful. She was very helpful and super nice. Food taste delicious. Ribs were warm when came out. Prawn and lobster ravioli tasted amazing. Apple pie was to die for. Crust so crispy and the filling had lots of flavour. This is my first time at Joey Coquitlam and the best tasting Joey I have been so far.

Paul K was our server and he was the best server I’ve had in years…possibly ever…without a doubt. Paul had the menu down! Was super engaging, friendly and took the time to make our table of 5 feel extremely well served. He got a massive tip that’s for sure. Food was really good as well but the service was next level.

I've never eaten there before but I've rather enjoyed it, It is excellent food, Good service service and good atmosphere besides being crowded but that's OK everybody needs to eat.

Just recently I went to Joey for the first time. I didn’t have any expectations really, I was just looking forward to a nice evening with friends out.
Well, frankly my experience at Joey was more than amazing!
The food was delicious and the price really matches the quality of the food.
What I really want to point out though is that I had an exceptional BRILLIANT waiter called Paul!
Paul was welcoming, charming and he new the menu like the alphabet!
He helped me more than once to decide which dish to choose. His scenic description of every dish made me eat a lot more than I planned just because he made it sound soo delicious (and I wasn’t disappointed by any of his recommendations)

So all in all, a great experience that I won’t forget for a long time and which will bring me back to Joey very soon.

Had a great experience here last night. Incredible staff especially our server Kira B. Very professional and friendly and provided exceptional service! Enjoyed the atmosphere and wonderful staff. Will definitely be coming back!

We came to Joeys last night after Cactus Club lost their power and we figured it was just up the street. But, I left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. I remember the food being quite delicious in the past so I'm not sure what has happened.

We arrived close to 10pm, my boyfriend ordered the steak and frites while I ordered the chicken buddha bowl. When our food arrived, his steak was cooked rare when we wanted medium rare but that wasn't the worst. The steak was extremely chewy to the point where he had to use water to help swallow it down. I even tried it myself, and felt like I was chewing a piece of gum.

The buddha bowl looked appealing in appearance but tasted bland.

We didn't want to complain to our server as I know he is not at fault for the food, but I hated leaving disappointed. The service overall was decent but our server had to correct our bill twice as he rang the items in at full price rather than at the happy hour price and he seemed a bit confused when I mentioned the steak and frites was also on the happy hour menu, to which he said "oh was it? "

I am not sure how to really feel about Joeys anymore after this most recent visit as it has left quite a sour taste in my opinion.

Have been going to this place on and off for over 15 years. Always enjoyed the experience and the menu evolves. Great for larger groups and family gatherings.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve 0 (zero) when it comes to delivery services. I work for food delivery and It happened to me 4th time where I had to wait for my order for.not less 15 to 20 minutes. The restaurant's management doesn't care about the delivery drivers. Just one request to the management of the restaurant, pls don't accept order from doordash if u can't make it on time. Because we don't get paid for waiting at your restaurant. Plz value the delivery driver time. We as delivery driver, gives you business and such kind of service is not expected from the restaurant.

Went here for a celebration.was very disappointed as the service was slow and disorganized. The washrooms were also embarrassing for such establishment.

Always great! Steak & Sushi or Mushroom Ravioli, Sushi Cone! It’s all delicious and consistent. Service is on point as well. Good for all occasions

Our Family came in for Father’s Day lunch and had the Steak and Sushi, Steak and Lobster Ravioli, Sliders and truffle fries, Shrimp lettuce wrap and Steak frites. Each dish was very flavourful. Service was Amazing, very family oriented and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely be back again and try out other dishes on their menu.

Had the crispy tofu bowl and it was pretty good. Nice to see they have some vegan/vegetarian options.

I used to come here often for happy hour after work. This was my first time coming post-covid and this was the worst service I've had at a restaurant. The waitress was rude when she was speaking to us and impossible to find otherwise. Our meal was self-serve, we had to ask another server when we were ready to order, to give us something to pack our leftovers, and even to give us our bill. You guessed it, I also had to find someone to track down my waitress so I can pay for my meal. At the very end, I decided not to tip for the bad service service and the waitress flagged me down on my way out to argue about why I didn't tip her. Will not be returning.

Everything was great until the end.

The food was amazing but the drinks are crazy expensive. For a watermelon drink (with mint and absolute vodka) was 11.25, so I ordered the double and they charged me 18.50! For one drink.

We asked if this was a mistake and they said no because they use "premium ingredients, " but absolute vodka, mint and watermelon are quite affordable ingredients so this is quite misleading.
This place used to be top of my list but hugely dissatisfied with their pricing on their drinks.
Not worth it.

On Monday I celebrated my birthday. I have booked a table in this restaurant in advance. When we arrived we were greeted by a very unfriendly waiter who offered us a table on the patio, a very large table with a fireplace in the middle. We were only 5 guests, I said that this table is not suitable for our company. The waiter was outraged by my remark. I asked to be transplanted inside. And asked for a flower vase. He brought it, but there was very little water. It was ridiculous. I brought a cake with me, but this guy refused to pick it up or put it in the refrigerator. Although I found out in advance and was allowed to bring a cake with me. I was upset because the waiter was unfriendly and he could ruin my holiday. It's good that we changed the waiter. Nice girl provided us with good service. I have a suggestion for the manager of this restaurant: if you don't change the unfriendly guy, you could lose customers!

JOEY has really great and consistent food quality. Sadly, their greeters are terrible. I went in to grab takeout that was pre-ordered that I even tipped for, and when I arrived there were 4 greeters/hosts and no one greeted me. I stood around in front of them for a bit and made eye contact but still, no one asked if I've been helped. I had to approach someone and ask for my food, and it took a while for them to bring it out.

Slim chance that I'd come here again because I like the Ahi tuna club a lot, but I definitely won't be expecting much in terms of a welcoming experience.

This is great spot. Especially if you can get on the patio. The food is great, the staff are very friendly and Wednesdays are 1/2 price bottles of wine!

Joey's is gettn its grove back again. The vibe was awesome.service was on point.fabulous! And.the food yes keep bringing things back from the past. Joeys is still my favorite place to go.

Pretty good food, but 9$ for a Stella is a bit much. Their happy hour sangria is good though.if you want to go out for a fairly expensive dinner and get fairly good food then go here.

Waited 10 minutes before having to ask a manager to be served. The server didn't introduce himself and we had to constantly ask for refills and drinks. Service has definitely gone down at this place.

We went there and we're more than satisfied with the great service from everyone. We had a party of over 20 people and they took care of us seamlessly.

Nice decor and atmosphere, though it was a little squishy when other people tried to walk by our table. Food was good and consistent with other Joey locations I've visited.

Ive been coming to Joeys for about 5 years now. First time I came to the coquitlam location. I was blown away, our server Tim was immaculate. Never have I had a server that involved. My mother in law was having a terrible day and even though he was dealing with other tables he made us a top priority. Champagne and smiles, Ill be coming back to this location regularly from now on.

People are sweet and you can tell the staff enjoy working there. Duck and ribs were exquisite and so was the beer. Definitely looking forward to going again!

Sat at the bar as it was quite busy for a Tuesday evening. Immediate seating was available. Our server was friendly. The restaurant may have been short staffed as we did have to wait longer than usual for our order to be taken and then served (drinks only). Restaurant seemed clean. Ample parking and close to the highway.

Service is 4.5 - 5 stars as every server had amazing attitude and were very attentive with great follow up! Special shout out to Donya A.
The food is excellent! (GF orders the Steak and Rainbow roll every time) I've tried many dishes on the menu which were 4+ stars (fyi: I am picky)
Overall the Experience is wonderful from beginning to end as we are always greeted with warmth and are leaving with a smile.

Delicious food, friendly service, often busy.
Support your local team, Joey's has earned their way from a one stop tomato to a multi restaurant delicious food preparing casual favorite.
They have many regular favorites but rotate the menu regularly to bring in new delicious creations as they are invented.
The odd time the consistency is off or else they would be 5 star heaven.

Crispy mashed potatoes.that's all you need to know. Try it for yourself, it's a hidden menu treat!

Not the first time to Joey's, but it's the first to visit this location. We tried tandoori flat bread and shrimp flat bread, the shrimp one is amazingly tasty. The tandoori one is not far behind. We also tried tuna poke bowl with ingredients that fits together and gives me a unique delicious taste. The sushi cone was great as well. The servants are super nice. So healthy and tasty food served with a smile

We don't mind spending $25.50 on a pasta dish BUT for a small portion pasta dish it should be pretty good for $25.50. We ordered the Ravioli with lobster cream and it was mediocre tasting with a small portion. If you're going to charge a premium price for a small pasta dish I'd recommend delivering flavour that justifies the cost. We won't be ordering from Joey's again and I wouldn't recommend them.

I usually avoid places like this, but was very pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of food. Hat yellow fin tuna salad and it was delicious. Definitely coming back and ordering it

This is our second time at this location to celebrate my girl friend’s new job. What an excellent improvement and step up from our last experience!

Especially want to say a huge thank you to Miguel and Brian! Miguel was extremely friendly and helpful with my reservation. He made special remarks about our special occasion and made sure the staff serving us tonight got our special requests delivered. This reservation was made a month ago but Miguel still called me personally to confirm my reservation the day before.

Our booking was at 7pm but we decided to come early to enjoy the happy hour, the staff were super accommodating and gave us a table right away. The food was delicious as usual! We ordered the tuna poke bowl, pesto shrimp flatbread, hot wings and lobster ravioli. We also ordered some sangria but find it a little run down today.

When going to a restaurant, service and food are equally important to me. Our server Brian was amazing and attentive from start to finish! It is obvious that he has given a lot of thought and care in making connections with his customers. Joey Coquitlam is really lucky to have top-notch staff like Brian and Miguel! I would come back any day just for their exceptional service!

The food was wonderful, I loved the steak. It comes with special salad and the salad, even though it was simple, the sauce was perfect. Highly recommend it.
