He was the dr to remove my husbands kidney stone. Got a call an hour after surgery to tell me he couldn’t remove the stone as the OR didn’t have the tools he needed…! Wouldn’t you make sure it did before you put the patient under. Well turned out my husband had been taken off his blood thinner 7 days before his surgery by Dr Metcalf which Dr Kinahan knew……so no surgery, no kidney stone removed and he had a major stroke the next day which was definitely brought on by the long period of no blood thinner, told to me by the neurologist ……thank you dr Kinahan and Metcalf, very professional!

Out of all the procedures I've had, this one was the least painful, most successful and comforting.
Dr. Kinahan and his staff are consummate professionals who make you feel comfortable and have all your best interests at heart. He is known for revolutionary new procedures and we have heard only good things about him before coming here.
This is the referral you want, and the specialist you need.

I have been dealing with Kidney issues for 25 years. Dr. Kinahan became my doctor just over 4 years ago and out of the 4 i have had, he is by far the best doctor hands down.

After a 6 month wait, this was a disappointing experience. John offered little feedback as to what could be causing my impotency. He said that he "did not know what was wrong with most patients". The honest impression I had was that he was too busy to genuinely care about figuring out my case, he just wanted to slap a treatment down and send me on my way.

After the appointment, I learned that John was recently disciplined for taking pictures of one of his unconscious patient's genitals and sending it to a nurse who wasn't even involved in the case (times colonist published an article). There's just way too many red flags with this guy, I'll be seeking out a different specialist
