The move was very efficient, organized and done at a very reasonable cost. John was also pleasant and friendly, and communication was great at all times including when there was a delay in arriving. Movers respected my home and ensured that they laid carpet. One incident of a junior mover dropping something was dealt with very appropriately. If not for this I’d give John Q Moving 5 stars. I still have no hesitation recommending this mover.

John and his crew made the move as pleasant of an experience as possible. I had concerns of being able to remove a Murphy bed from the wall, which can be difficult and expensive, John came beforehand and determined he could do it, and came on moving day to personally ensure it was done correctly. His quote for the move was also accurate. I highly recommend John Q Moving.

We hired John Q Moving to move my elderly mother into a senior home.
From the start John communicated clearly about his service (2 fully vaccinated men with a cube van) and the cost involved. John showed up on time and carefully wrapped all furniture, even put the mattress in a protective plastic bag. At the end of the move my bill was exactly what John had quoted.

John Q movers helped me move in November. They were professional, kind, productive & we’re happy to help me move which made the experience so much easier. They worked hard & got my move done in great time. Would recommend them and use them again for sure.

I hired JohnQMoving after interviewing them and 5 other movers in Surrey. They had the best rate for moving my furniture to another location in Surrey and when l mentioned l was going to get a company to take some old appliances away from the delivery location he said that they could do that too. And because he was there there would be no travel time and he gave me a quote for both. After speaking with the other movers l came back to JohnQMoving and hired them. The two men that came were courteous, competent, efficient, strong and had ingenuity. They were done with all my stuff in an hour including having to take a big desk apart in order to get it out. Then they got the old appliances out if the new place put mine in place the old furniture out of living area and thee new ones in place after unwrapping them everything was so well protected. They then load up all the junk and got rid of it for me and all at a reasonable price which was half of what the competition quoted me. Then later on John the owner called me and said his guy made a mistake and the bill and overcharged me and he was putting in a refund to me. Now this is an honest company to hire. I gave the guys a cash tip as they did a great job and were very accommodating. I highly recommend this moving company and will use them again if l need to.

We were referred to John Q Moving and gave them a call. John did an assessment of our move beforehand to evaluate length of time needed & provided a quote for comparisons. This was a large move and on the day of the move, John and his crew arrived on time and got going. We were asked to stay out of their way (which we did) and important items were wrapped/protected and safely handled. Final bill was close to quote. This has to be one of the worst moving experiences in my life! I was charged a ridiculous amount, they were late an hour and a half for one, only to get yelled at early in the AM because he was late.and two, to get yelled at again to help MOVE my own stuff, after I paid all that money! Anddd to come across my headboard for my expensive bed is broken on the bottom. If I could post a picture I would. HIGHLY not recommend

I hired John Q Moving to move me from vancouver to the okanagan. In a little under 2 hours, they had my full 2brdm 2bath apartment loaded into the truck and ready to go. They were quick, but took their time in wrapping and packing; nothing was damaged at all. After a quick walkthrough they went to work, working seamlessly between each room until there was nothing left.

John and his guys were very nice, clean, and I felt I could leave them alone if I needed too without having to worry about theft of any kind. John and his team will always be my number one recommendation and would use again if I ever move back to the coast.

Another company who refuses to treat disabled people as if they are not an equal or valuable part of society. No we do not do Ministry moves. A moving company who is experienced, licensed and bonded there any specific ve to be placed in all of their be No need to overcharge. Hence you will get paid what you estimated the charge to be. Shouldn't be a problem, you create your own problems by shady business practices and padding the bill. Not the customer.

These guys are excellent, they were fast they were efficient and fair. On a tough job with two flights of stairs to the top floor not one wall was damaged. Very pleasant to deal with, I wouldn't hesitate recommending these guys to my friends and family.

John and his assistant, Chris, were simply amazing. They coordinated with ABF Freight, which moved our household goods from the U. S, and also through Canadian Customs, then moved our things from Surrey to Vancouver Island. John was helpful every step of the way, keeping us informed, and arriving on moving day right on time.
