Denied 2 adults with valid id and constantly stared.very negative and unusal experience on Friday April 7th at approximately 6pm

Worst liquor store ever! I walked in laughing at a joke. Hadn’t had a drink in hours.was hoping to grab a nightcap to finish the day. They said I was cut off. From what? Laughing? ! I will never ever give these guys business ever again. Thanks for nothing. Please also note I WALKED in. The guys behind me were driving and mixing their drinks in the parking lot. So I’m the bad guy here….

I was just in the store, I had really liked this store. I got my favorite wine that was marked $10.13. I know that is not a lot for wine, I just like this variety. When I got to the counter, the person at the counter, said, $10 even, I had exactly this amount because that is what I always pay. (I am not a wine expert but i know what I like and it was low in alcohol %).
Then all of a sudden they said its $11.56? Hello? Why the change all of a sudden, I questioned this, then they said, oh ok, $10.00. I am guessing this was the owner.

I felt they were ripping people off, or trying to. I have a nice face, kind and maybe they think, gullible? Did they think I would fall for this? I might go somewhere else next, even to pay more for honesty. They are now charging $2 more on everything. If not
more.

Was in a shared parking lot buying groceries next door. Upon returing to my car, a delivery truck for the liquor store starting pulling in, boxing me in entirely. The truck driver and liquor store manager (or so she claimed) very much noticed me and my husband, made eye contact with each other, smirked, and proceeded to unload multiple crates of shipment. I approached the manager and asked how much longer they would be. With all the entitlement she could muster with a thick superficial coating of professionalism, she said it wouldn't be much longer. My husband and I ended up waiting 15 minutes, just watching them leisurely unload and take inventory. When the manager finally freed up, I approached her, asked for the manager, said she was the manager while pretending to fixate on her clipboard, and began to walk away from me. With a calm but displeased tone, I let her know how she could have handled that situation better. She said I shouldn't have parked there (even though I was parked legally, not in their designated spots) offered no apology, and walked away like I was yesterday's jam. The two staff behind the counter gave me a sypathetic look and apologized on her behalf and because of her disrepectful behaviour.

To the owner: reconsider training said manager or replace her with someone who has a passion for customer service and empowering the team. As an HR specialist, it was clear that staff morale is low, most likely from her poor leadership and toxic behaviour. Input = output. The happier your frontline staff are, the more they will care about the success of your business, regardless of high turnover. Build this into your business' culture and I guarantee your profits will grow.

Pretty good liquor store. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. It's not big, but I am usually able find what I need

I've been coming to this store for about 3 years now and the service is always great. The selection varies from week to week on some items but for the most part they should have almost everything you need!

In the case of this liquor store size doesn't matter they knew how to use their small size to their advantage. Confidence is key!

Very conveniently located with friendly service, but price is on the higher side. They take bottle returns, but not beer cans.

The problems with this store are as follows:
There is always constantly changes of prices: one minute the liquor is on sale and the other minute is NOT!
The beverages are way a bit pricy with limited choices.
The store assistants handpick the customers whom they want to greet while they ignore others.

The only good things are the Owner is the good man and the store is closer to public places.

Great store! Highly recommended. The staff are always super friendly and funny - never gotten any bad/weird vibes personally.
Service is fast and they know their stuff when it comes to liquor - great recommendations!
Pricing wise is in the middle, you can find cheaper but sacrifice selection - cheaper than bcl and other chains that's for sure. And taxes are priced in so that's a plus.
Also ofc they will check your ID it's the law lol. They've never been pushy about it with us, so maybe it's you.
It's like a mom and pop restaurant.but only they just serve you liquor.

I have been going to this cold beer and wine store for many years as I have lived within a ten minute walk. I have been always impressed with the customer services in terms of selection and availability of products especially any weekly specials. As I am a senior now, particularly that of an additional 10% off on Tuesday, which has been a great incentive for a customer to continue to be supportive of a community business during this difficult pandemic year! Unfortunately, I had discovered recently that for the first time in all these years that any fifteen can beer specials are now exempt from any senior 10% discount which I thought was a way of "punishing" the customer for the want of a better word for the current situation. That was the way I felt and probably would dictate my decision to visit a government liquor store even if that would mean an extra thirty minute walk.

The price is higher than other stores. There are also very few items to sell. Some staff are very unfriendly. Reluctant to return the deposit for empty bottles. It's annoying. Despite being right in front of the house, this place doesn't go anymore. This is because the alcohol on sale can be purchased in just 5 minutes by car.

A smaller store but a surprising amount of variety, several types of liquers, whiskey and spirits. Very pleased to see the installation of a hand sanitizer.

Expensive unfortunately. I compared exact size/brand etc. With BC liquor, price was $18 vs $12 that's huge

Wow. 12 Corona Lights cost $39 including tax! I won't be shopping there again: - (~~~ Crazy prices.

I’m relieved to read those bad reviews about this place, the guy from the staff was really inquisitive about my ID, He asked for the ID of my friend that was outside of the store, after I tell him that I never had this kind of problem there, he gave me a really rude answer, and also give me an option to buy in another place. I know they must ask for ID! This is correct thing to do, the problem is HOW they do this! Making people uncomfortable is not the best way!

Something off with this place. They act like you don’t exist or they are doing me a favor doing their job. First and last time I go there

This store has a decent selection and good hours. It's not fancy, but it is clean and organized. On our last visit we got what we wanted with no fuss or bother. The staff people were friendly and helpful.

A good little place, but not much in their local beer selection or higher end ciders. Very heavily squewed to the typical stuff you can get at BC Liquor, and a lot of wines.

This is the closest liquor store to home and I don't typically drive to do my shopping so I come in with a little cart (granny cart, I call it). Because of this I have to go in the exit and the staff are always accommodating since they have to open the door for me in order to come in.

Their prices are a little high, but it's to be expected of a privately owned liquor store. They usually have what I'm looking for and if they don't the staff is usually knowledgeable about where I can find it or order it.

There's one guy who works there who always asks what's going on and if I've got any big plans for the weekend. It's nice to chat and he's very friendly.
