Old school top notch customer service!
It's sad that I have to review a BBQ store as "female friendly" but the other four I called WEREN'T. I was looking for an adapter and was repeatedly condescended to by other stores. Basically, I received variations of "I don't understand what you're looking for so it doesn't exist". One shop even told me that "all propane connections are the same, so if your connections don't fit then you're not using a propane tank. Did you check the tank? Does it say propane? " Long sigh.
A quick call to Johnstone's and not only had they *actually* heard of a QCC connection, but the fellow on the phone physically checked to make sure it was in stock and set it aside. "Uhh, it's a nice weekend. Looks grill-y, can I get your number and set them aside for you? Or- are you sure you'll want to pick them up here".
Sure as I've ever been, yes.
Can't recommend them enough! I don't even need a BBQ but now I thinking about it...

They have a lot of selection on bbqs. We went in thinking we would buy one but learned about the benefits of others. Had to return and swap for another product. After putting the bbq together, found that it was for natural gas instead of for propane which is what we should have. They were good with swapping it for the right one and had it assembled and shipped to do the swap.

Its great to be able to go to johstones 10 years after my bbq purchase and get replacement parts like the burner, flavour shield all of which are stainless steel and astonishingly low cost - And in Stock! A success for the environment and landfill reduction.

Had a problem finding a gas adapter valve stopped in just to ask and realized I should have stopped here first they had it, great staff very knowledgeable and a huge inventory of gas fittings and every barbecue part you need.

Super helpful staff, know their stuff. I had to deal with a weird connector and they knew exactly what to do.
