I was facing life altering criminal charges, jail and deportation. I was scarred, really needed help, didn’t understand my situation and didn’t know what to do. I took a chance on Jonathan and it really worked out. Jonathan was very clear in his explanation of my legal position, options and risks. He knows the law and is well respected by his peers and the Crown. At the end of the day, he presented the facts of my situation and convinced the Crown to stay the charges. We avoided court and I don’t have a criminal record. He speaks straight, works hard, and is the real deal. With Jonathan you get what you pay for, what more is there to say.

Run. Stay away from him. I learned a great lesson by hiring him. Never trust the Ads and his great reviews.

He fits every stereotype that there is on bad Lawyers. He is greedy, so get prepared to be charged double what every other lawyer charges for half the service. He is unreliable, he missed my bail hearing and I had to wait 3 hours in the courtroom for somebody from his office to show up. He has no honor, he changed the original price he had given me just before my trial when he knew I’m most vulnerable.

He is also notoriously famous for being a gangster lawyer who mostly represents drug dealers and gang members, you can actually see it for yourself when you go to his office and see how he dresses and when you hear him speak.

My advice as someone who paid his hefty retainer and then had to fire him for literally doing nothing useful, is not to be fooled by his self acclaimed reviews or expensive internet ads, go and talk to different lawyers before making your decision. I know how hard and frustrating going through the court system is, specially if you are inocent, but don’t let people like him take advantage of your misery. If you are truly inocent and have a professional lawyer to help you, you will eventually make it through.

The dealings and outcome of my case, was precisely what was discussed in my initial meeting. He was going to work hard and promptly to get the result that was desired, and he delivered on that. All discussion were direct, clear, and to the point. He explained all in layman's term, not requiring me to decipher the legalese that an average citizen would not know.
