Stunning place for camping or to spend the day and well maintained. Made it up there in my camry so definitely accessible

Beautiful spot. Camp smart and keep a bear safe campsite, bathrooms stink but what outhouse doesn't!? The views are unbeatable and the water is warm on sunny days

We camped here in mid-September. The fires had just ended and it was the first day of the campsite reopening so we got lucky and basically had the entire lake to ourselves. Since all campsites were empty, we picked the best one near the lake and enjoyed the weekend peacefully.
2 things to be mindful of:
a) You need a 4x4 to get up here. I took my Sedan and ended up having a damaged rim.b) The place has a massive garbage problem. If you walk/drive by the lake, it’s unfortunate how inconsiderate campers are, leaving their garbage all over the place. Please be respectful and take your garbage with you or dump it appropriately.

Such a beautiful camping spot. Bring a good 4x4 for the steep gravel switchbacks, though. Glacier backdrop and crystal clear lake.
