Jordans Flooring Outlet

NOTE: I initially posted the review below to Jordans Langley & the bad experence actually happened at Jordans Abbotsford.

My wife & I have renovated 3 homes in our life dealing with dozens of subcontractors & suppliers - most fantastic & some only satisfactory. Dealing with Jordan’s was our worst experience. I have few regrets however, pulling into the Jordan’s Outlet in Abbotsford was one of them. I should have gone to Costco.

We spent $5 per sq.ft on vinyl plank flooring (entire house). Our intention was to have Jordan’s install however, they recommended going direct to their preferred installer to save on taxes & we did so (I now see why they did this). Flooring was subsequently installed (approx 10K for materials & 9K for installation). During the process, a new subfloor was installed & floating vinyl flooring was installed & glued. Despite being advertised as floating (with a lifetime guarantee) the flooring has been lifting & gaps continue to arise. After 3 months, they worked with the installer to mitigate the issues. The flooring looked better for a while & then the lifting returned. Fast forward a few months & they escalated the issue to the Sales Manager who stated he’d get the B. C.flooring agency involved (he didn’t & rather he just inspected himself - all talk!). During inspection he stated to my wife that no matter what, he’d remedy the problem. A week later we received a letter stating that the problems were related to installation & therefore not their problem (despite using Jordan’s preferred installer). No remedies would be performed by Jordan’s to address lifting & gaps.

It’s likely defective batch of product. Floating floor slabs should stay totally flat while stored & these will wave. Our installer has followed the same practice for 30 years (working as a preferred installer of Jordan’s the entire time). He has never experienced this problem with installation of vinyl flooring. We moved our 3 young kids out of the house for 2 weeks while our installer tried to remedy the lifting & gaps without success (first attempt). What bothers me the most is the hypocrisy “we are a family, we are ethical, we guarantee quality, no need to worry! ” All the while, hardworking tax paying families are being ripped off.

I’ve opened a file with the BBB & I strongly suggest those who are experiencing issues with Jordan’s to follow suit.

To the Knox family, please do better. You once created an empire that is now being eroded.

Went to Jordan’s for carpeting after trying elsewhere. Not only did Dianne give us samples to take home, there wasn’t pressure to choose the most expensive available. The experience was relaxed and she was fantastic! Chad was our installer, fabulous, and can’t say enough about how great he and his helper was. Interestingly enough Dianne called me to confirm our install appointment, lately that seems to be a customer service detail that is missing from other companies. Funny how little things can impress. They did everything we needed with no delays or surprises. Thanks for that Jordan’s. I would recommend them to everyone and will call them first for any other work we need. Well done!

Don’t recommend Henry’s flooring, they do not have experience with concrete subfloors. Please stay away from this contractor. Called to complain to the store and they could care less. I sense narcissism here. Disgusting

Found the experience to be easy, low pressure, and they had exactly what I needed at a great price. After running around to multiple other flooring stores, Jordan's came through. Also, an order I thought was going to take 3 weeks came in in 1 week, which was a nice surprise!

Del was very helpful to both my wife & I and presented the options to us in a professional manner and for us to arrive at a decision to purchase at a agreed to price. It was our first time in the store and no doubt would come back should another need arise.

We visited the Abbotsford store looking for 3 new hall runners. Del was very helpful, made suggestions from the photos we showed him. We found what we were looking for & even found a Persian wool rug that we bought too! Very satisfied with the service & selection.

Always find what I need here. 3rd time in looking for something different, and it's right there! Prices are reasonable, Good trades men with fair prices. Orders don't take long either.

We highly recommend Jordans as the place to go for flooring! Del was excellent to work with. Sharing his knowledge of the vast product offerings, he helped us with our flooring choices for hardwood and carpet. Del is friendly, patient, and such a pleasure to deal with, making this flooring store a standout amongst its competitors.

My husband me I had been looking for an are rug for months prior to this particular visit. I am not too picky but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. Our visit was in the period of Covid and Del was super professional and not pushy at all. We spent a bit more than we would've liked but ended up with the perfect rug. Del did not get tired of us as I hummed and hawed for awhile trying to make my decision. Thank you Del and Jordan's for providing great selection

I couldn't find the runner I liked and the salesman was quick to offer up different options using role ends and it turns out I was able to get EXACTLY what I wanted. A week later they were bound and settled on my hallway floors. LOVE THEM!

Arrived at the Abbotsford location to educate ourselves on flooring options. An hour later we left with floor samples and a week later we purchased the vinyl plank flooring suggested to us by Del Pawluk who was very informative and never pressured us into making a purchase. To capitalize on their January sale, we were able to purchase the flooring in January and they were willing to store it for us when we were ready to install three months later

I was pleasantly suprised by the selection in store. I've been back a few times just to make sure i wouldn't make a mistake, and the employees were always kind and patient with me.

Great personal service, patient with my questions and comfortable with me taking as much time as I needed to make a decision.

We had great service from Jelle when we recently purchased vinyl plank flooring for our renovation and an area rug. He was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. He explained the differences between between vinyl and laminate and never pressured us into making a decision. We would absolutely recommend Jelle.

We have come to this location twice in 2 days to shop for carpet. The first day they were closed early, or all day possibly due to snow, but there was no signage at all. Then we came in the next day when the roads were good and the store is still closed with no signs up saying why. Very disappointing and lost a potential customer.

Went there to look at area rugs.came away with 3.the sales rep Del was very good.very helpful but not over aggressive.gave us space and time to decide and was very knowledgeable.we would definatly shop there again.carpets looked awesome in our new home!
