Wonderful sushi bar! Prices are excellent, food quality is excellent, owner is very friendly and welcoming. I found my new go-to sushi spot. Highly recommended!

I had the chicken bento-box, everything was under-seasoned chicken teriyaki with rice was flavorless, the salad dressing tasted a lot like mayo, the tempura wasn’t my favorite the sauce that comes with it was literally water. In general lack a lot of seasoning. Wouldn’t recommend

Walked in on whim for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Very clean, good service, and great sushi at great prices. Very fresh with generous portions.

Really reasonably priced sushi. I haven’t seen this type of price since inflation. The sushi is also portioned nicely and tasted fresh.

The interior is small and very quiet. Seems to be run by a couple (2 staff). Cute place!

Decided to try this place on a whim— and it was amazing! The sushi was very fresh and was prepared super fast. Definitely a takeout place but it was still lovely to sit there. Would definitely recommend the crispy sushi role:)

Fresh, fast and affordable. I like that they texted me when it was ready after I ordered online. The only tricky thing was that I was biking and the paper bag was difficult to carry so next time I need to bring my own bag with handles.

We loved the food there. Small place, 2 people run it, so make sure you leave time for them to prep the food as they are often busy.

We had wonderful sushi and sashimi, it was delicious. We are already wanting to go back the day after.

Everything we ordered was good, so hard to make specific recommendations. Although one thing comes to mind I will order again: their wild salmon sashimi…that is what is calling my name.

So fresh and so good. We've been in the neighborhood for a long time and our usual sushi place has gone down in qaulity and up in price so we thought we would give simply sushi a try, it was so worth it. From the rolls to tempura you can tell its made with fresh, quality ingredients and made with care. Best sushi I've had in a while. Plus super friendly

I have been to this sushi place several times. Their rolls are fresh, delicious and have generous portion size at an affordable price. I have tried the mango sushi, california, salmon cream cheese, rainbow, bc rolls till now. The ambience and the hospitality are also amazing. I will love to come back again for trying other sushi options.

The prices were reasonable and I thought the sushi was good - also, I ordered takeout online and it was ready quickly. Will definitely be coming back!

We love bento box meals. Simply's chicken bento box is simply superb.

The quality of the items in the box were good and fresh. We really like the California rolls and the tempura items. However, the portion of the terayaki chicken was a little small. No complaints though since the price of $11.50 inclusive of miso soup was really good.

We will make this our favourite sushi place.

I called yesterday to confirm that I could order today for delivery between 4: 30-5. I was told I could do that and to call around 2pm. When I called today to place my order I was told they were too busy between 4: 30-5 to deliver my order. I've never heard of a restaurant refusing business with 2.5 hours notice because they'll be "too busy". Very unprofessional and I will take my business elsewhere.

Ordered tonight (May 15,2021) for delivery. It took 1.5 hours to arrive. I called for over 30 mins and it went to voicemail or said person unavailable the whole time. When the driver arrived and I tried to ask what happened, he said "busy" and then literally ran away. When I called the restaurant and finally got through, they said there was an issue with their phone. No one apologized or tried to make it right. Sushi is decent quality for the price, but customer service is atrocious and I won't be ordering from them again.

Surreal experience. Waitress and fellow preparing food wore ear buds throughout. At one point fellow sits at table and starts singing, perhaps along with the music coming from his earbuds. Tea lukewarm and soup likewise lukewarm with chemical taste.salmon rolls not fresh. Sauce on gomae hard. Waitress never reappeared to refill tea or ask if we wanted anything else. Left with a stomach ache. Lesson learned - never eat at an empty restaurant.

I love this place, I order different types of veggie sushi and it's always fresh and tasty. The owners are also nice and friendly.

Lower than average experience. Took 30 minutes to get orders out for 2 people and it really was not busy around 7pm. Portion sizes were smaller than expected.

Service is fast. Restaurant very empty during the day. Value is okay. Not that great considering the quality of food. Food is pretty bland. Not much of a taste to anything in the bento box.

Come here for a quick lunch for pseudo-Japanese food.

Don’t come here if you’re expecting the best sushi you’ve ever tasted in your life. Or if you’re expecting excellent value.

For the price it's really good Sushi. It's a very tiny place if you want to go and dine in but it would still be ok if there wasn't a line up through the restaurant ordering to go. Just ate in that once and been ordering for delivery ever since.

I get take out from here a few time a week, and have never been disappointed - the sushi is delicious. The service is quick, and the owners are really friendly! Their GOLDEN ROLL is to die for! Ask for a side of teriyaki:)

Simply fantastic.

Easily the best of the 50+ sushi restaurants I have tried in Vancouver. I have been going to Jun for almost 20 years and have never had a bad meal. Most places serve subpar farmed salmon and charge you extra for the wild. Not Jun! They only serve wild sockeye and don’t charge anything extra. The golden roll is probably the best sushi roll I have ever had, and Jun is the only place I’ve seen this combination.

If you want the best sushi at the best price, with none of the pretentiousness of a place like the eatery then Jun is your place. If you need your sushi roll to cost $15 to impress your Instagram followers then Jun probably isn’t for you.
