What a ptless method to giving fades. Your head is not a floor for a brush to cont' brush to get the hair to stand up. If you're not black or nappy hair'd, paying 50$ a haircut is like trying southern food, which so similar to poor people food. Kingsway shop had a big ugly black dude who likes to cut people's head when doing hairlines. LAWSUIT ANYONE? NO wonder it closed shop.

I contacted Junior months ago about getting a crash course that could fit in my schedule. I'm a father of 5, salon owner and work in an unrelated industry on Vancouver Island. I couldn't afford to spend much time away.

Junior designed a 10 hour a day course over a 3 day period and he pulled it off! His decades in the barbering and film industry gave him everything he needed to give me everything I needed.

I'm confidant in my abilities now to work in my family's business beside my wife.

Yeeeeeeshh. Really dissatisfied with the fade. Think you could do better, I noticed that I wasn’t the only person at the time telling the barber how the cut wasn’t right. Wanted to like it but barber didn’t seem confident nor experienced, his techniques were not efficient or effective in styling what I asked for. Best of luck in future and hopefully can use this as some honest criticism rather than think nothing of it…

I enjoyed taking classes with Junior. I had no prior experience. I was very scared and uncomfortable but they made it a positive environment to learn. In 8 weeks I have become more confident to cut hair and I hope to continue to learn.

Richie did a great job with a beard trim and shave! The atmosphere is healthy and light hearted. When I’m back in town I’ll be stopping by!

You can’t charge people to get a haircut by someone who’s a ‘student’ and is actually PAYING YOU a tuition to learn how to cut hair. So you’re getting money from the person cutting the hair AND the person who’s getting their hair cut. That’s so unethical it’s not even funny. ESPECIALLY when you’re charging $20-$40. Getting work done by student dentists at UBC is free. There’s a reason for that…. When you allow a student to practice on you, you’re taking a huge risk. It’s the same with hair. A haircut from a student barber should be free or like $10 max…. AND YOU SHOULD ASK PEOPLE IF IT’S OKAY THAT A STUDENT BARBER CUTS YOUR HAIR

It was awesome and amazing experience to be there, i started eveything from scratch and i learned a lot, highly recommend to take the class guys, thanks Junior

Just got a haircut this evening and I was looking to get a fade but I wasn’t familiar with the barbershops in town. Luckily found this location, Junior got the best service in town! I love the look he gave me. He’s friendly, pays attention to details, he’s an amazing barber. Friendly staffs as well. Thanks Jr

I've been coming to Junior's for about 8 years. Living in downtown Vancouver it's so convenient and the barbers are top shelf. Especially my guys Manny, Gavin and Junior himself.

Buy your own shaver and run over her hair to get the same result.totally ptlss. Its similar to Japadog (its a hotdog with wasabi mayo) 10$? WAhhhht?

Junior’s is THE best hair cutter in Vancouver. I’ve been bringing my young son for a perfect fade and clean up … he’s super with my son, patient, and unbelievable skilled with the trimmer. Great employees and a cool vibe. I can’t recommend Junior’s enough. Thanks Jr!

Gav is my barber always does a great job. Its better to call beforehand or use the book function on his instagram.
