I met Junior when he opened his first shop on Davie Street, Vancouver. From day one his ambition was a good quality haircut honouring an exceptional service. 7 years later I attended his barber school in Poco. I graduate tomorrow & now I can carry on the excellence cutting experience.

Awesome place to learn how to fade! I took the 10 week barber boot camp, learned step by step how to fade, different types of hair too, and before my course was even finished I got a full time job at a barbershop. Thank you junior!

I feel bad writing this review because 1) I always ride for Black business and 2) I really wanted to have a good experience here.

The first time I went to Juniors I went at a time where students were cutting hair. I asked for a #1 over my head with the sides faded. I dunno if homegirl hadn’t cut Black hair before or what but she immediately messed it up. Junior came over to fix it and ended up having to carve a rose into my scalp. It took 2 hours in total to shave my already bald head and she cut the back of my neck up so bad it bled and I was raw for a week. Wasn’t super thrilled about it. But whatever I’m just about bald I figured it’s fine it would grow back quick and I wasn’t about to make a student feel bad - she’s a student. But then after messing my hair up still had the audacity to charge me full price. ‍

I tried going back a second time but this time to see an actual barber - not a student. I made an appointment for 330 because I had to be somewhere by 5. By 430 they still hadn’t even started my hair and when I asked what was up they DGAF.the barber just shrugged and said he’d be at least 15 minutes more. I had to leave without a haircut after sitting there for an hour. The girl at the counter tried to give me 10% off a future cut, but tbh I’m frustrated, after both of those poor experiences I won’t both wasting my time here again

I'm a first timer to Juniors barbershop. Bro Manni was professional, meticulous, and personable. Place is clean, relaxed and funky with cool memorabilia. Billiards Table in the middle of the room! Awesome! For sure will become my go to.

Two months ago I was walking from C Market coffee to Hampton Home and a nice young man handed me a flyer. I looked in a few mirrors at my long mop and said ”hey why not? ” Not expecting a great cut in this area I said “high skin fade please. ” The barber got to work and gave me the best fade.

Fast forward to today, Junior cut my hair and gave my beard a trim. Such a great experience. Not only is Junior a great barber, he’s also a family man a Starwars fan, and community minded. The conversation was always positive and I see great things for this shop and the community that will build around it. And most importantly, consistently great, quality haircuts.

Call ahead and make an appointment. I’ll personally buy you a coffee if you hate your haircut.

It's great to have a barber in the Fremont community, and an exceptional one at that. Just had my first haircut with Junior, and it was a great experience. I was booked in for a cut at the earliest convenience, despite short notice on my end. The haircut and chats with Junior were great, and the upcoming plans for the shop and community are exciting to hear about. Definitely will be coming back for regular cuts here.

I just my 5 year old son’s haircut there… he is never a fan of getting his haircut… but he sure enjoyed the experience today! Beautiful shop and a big screen tv with fun stuff for the kiddies to watch. The owner was friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. We just found our new place!

The barber shop and school in Port Coquitlam nothing but awesome, the decor and feeling you get when you walk through the doors. Is nothing less than welcoming, it is like the barber shop of the past with a new twist. You can just chill and relax. Junior is the barber and the shop you definitely want to go to see and get a cut from. Definitely a master craftsman of the trade. You won't be disappointed, I will definitely be going back and next time so will my boys.

This place really makes you feel like a king.

Very new location with a very interesting decor. The owner, Junior, was a delight to talk to and paid very special attention to my hair. We talked about some common interests and even watched a show together on the TV.

This isn't your run of the mill barbershop, it's a place to hangout, get your haircut, and be part of a community!

Great barbershop, I recognized the logo from their downtown shop. The owner has alot of plans for this shop so looking forward to that. The decor and memorabilia in the shop also worth checking out. Definitely comeback when I am in the area.

Got my hair cut by junior here multiple times now, easily one of the best barbershops in the tricities.interior of the shop is the nicest and most unique ive seen yet.ive been to plenty of barbershops in the area, and can say this one is the best one out of them all
