Juniper Trails Bed and Breakfast

I can’t believe I neglected to leave a review earlier- I know for sure I meant to each time I stayed at Juniper Ridge and only when I was recommending it to a friend did I notice that I hadn’t. My husband and I travelled with our son and his wife to visit our younger son who lived in Springhouse at the time-Juniper Ridge is located on Dog Creek Road, a short drive (10 minutes or so) between Williams Lake and Springhouse. It was our first bed & breakfast experience and I’m so glad that we stepped out of our comfort zone and booked a couple nights there. We have visited again on our own since then. Steve and Emily are very kind and welcoming. The place is gorgeous and you can certainly tell that the owners take pride in their property- the construction and decor are perfect for the setting and the views are magical. Peaceful is the vibe here. The dogs are so happy to see guests and like to visit when they can. They are energetic yet well behaved and well managed. We booked two rooms- Mollys Rest (named after a much loved pet who has passed on but is not forgotten) and the Suite. The suite was beyond expectations- so roomy, clean and to my delight, the bathroom was luxurious. Every possible box was ticked during our visits. The accommodations are clean and well taken care of, the views are out of this world, the hosts are friendly, helpful and offer the perfect amount of hospitality and the homemade breakfast was very good and hit the spot. We were invited to join Steve, Emily and a couple other guests for an outdoor fire one evening and Steve proudly showed me his bountiful garden. He even offered our son and daughter-in- law the use of their dog training equipment while there and he took a special interest in their new puppy, Hallie. Artwork lines the walls (much of it created by Steve) depicting local scenes, wildlife and of course, juniper ridge’s resident dogs. Our whole experience was positive on both visits and we would definitely choose juniper ridge again BUT our son bought property that neighbours Juniper Ridge and is large enough to accommodate all of our family. We encourage everyone to visit this gem.
