It was very disappointing. This will be the last time I buy from there. I purchased a sofa, and because they couldn't inform me an hour before the sofas arrived at my house, I had to stay home the entire day. When I opened the packages, I realized the colors of the sofas were different. I contacted the delivery, but no response. I went to the store again, and after a lot of delay, they admitted their mistakes and said they would send the correct-colored sofa another day, meaning I have to take another day off. This will definitely be my last purchase from them.
Super, caring service. Assisted patiently offering Color combos of purchasing side chairs and cushions. I immensely enjoyed the communication each sales person had amongst each other as well. Professional and courteous. Regarding Carina And Poonith. I shall recommend this store at united blvd. And so I left successfully purchasing items needed. Thank u
Large, clean, full and bright! This store has plenty of goods for the home. The summer selection in patio furniture is fantastic! Lots to see and actually try out. If you're looking to add to, or freshen up your deck or patio this spring, stop here and check it out!
This Jysk is absolutely wonderful. Every time I go in, it’s always so clean and organized. Usually Wanda is there. She’s lovely and has helped me to pick out an affordable Christmas tree.
Waaaay better than IKEA, guys. Seriously, it’s less than a 5 minute drive from the Coquitlam location and, if you want things that are ACTUALLY in stock, go here!
I was told to go to the shipping building for my couch & dresser. As we waited for them to bring out our products, a female had asked for our help. I replied "yeah I was wondering if you needed a hand". She then replied " you could've offered "! I was taken back by her nasty attitude. DID NOT APPRECIATE THAT AT ALL. First & last time I'm going there. Hope management sees this review.
Be careful shopping in the United Blvd Coquitlam location. A display collapsed on me in august and I had my ankle cut open. I was limping and bleeding and they offered no first aid. They took a picture of my cut up ankle and sent me on my way. No bandages or nothing. I called the store to follow up on the incident report a few days later and no return call from manager Reece. Then a couple more days go by and I call and he says I have to deal with customer service as it was out of his hands. I called MULTIPLE times and sent MULTIPLE emails and no response. Finally 2 months later and they didn’t even say sorry or ask how I was or provide an incident report. They emailed to say we want to give you a 200 gift card for your trouble. I wanted them to send a report and at least pretend they cared by sending me a phone call. Nope. I have every other week called and emailed to say are you guys even caring? No return calls and then finally in mid October they said customer service can’t help you it’s with the claims department now. They have had the file for a month now and not one call. This department has no phone number and no one can transfer you. 2 weeks ago an independent adjuster called to ask what happened and I told him and still have not heard back from Jysk. Just shocking you let someone leave the store bleeding. You don’t return calls or emails. No incident report. No one calls to see how you are. Nothing. These guys do not care at all. They want the money and that’s it. You would never get that from a mom and pop store. I would highly recommend giving your money to literally ANY other store as from the store level all the way up there is a culture of Do not worry about the customer. They do NOT matter! VERY disappointing Team Jysk. You should be ashamed!
Worst company in Canada. Do not give them your business. Hit my boyfriends car in July, and still haven’t given us a penny. Lie after lie, broken law after broken law. Corrupt and shady business. Do not shop here.
Wanda as always and I’m sorry I have not written before. Knocks it out of the ball park as an all around brilliant staff person for you. You are very lucky to have her. In deep appreciation of Wanda, Susan
This is a review on the poor conditions you are making your Staff work in! I was in the store for 15 minutes with my kids and had to get out of there because it's so HOT and we were all sweating. The poor lady at the till was pink and face and sweating and still was able to serve us kindly. Fix your AC this is horrible how they have to work.i would die of heat exhaustion if I worked there.
Not bad. Good alternative for Ikea in some aspects. Good pillows and fake plants. Outdoor furniture and random small things you might need for the house. Might have shelf sizes that ikea does not. Great place for decor. And it's cheap.
The cost is extremely high for such poor quality items and every time I purchase something the hardware is missing its nice to look at buy not good overall.
I was at the Coquitlam store to buy foot mat to match my existing ones. It required some digging. Nicole, one of the staff was persistent in looking, even getting on the floor to search for me. Eventually she found them! Thanks Nicole for being so persistent!
Many good items at reasonable prices, from household items to outdoor furniture. Restroom available for customers to use. Staff are super friendly and helpful in finding items. Plenty of parking spaces by the store.
I bought a memory foam mattress topper which was on sale. A lovely young man carried it out to my car for me even without me asking. The store is beautifully clean and we'll organized.
Convenient for me to shop, there is only one entry and that's off United blvd you have to pay close attention otherwise you'll miss the turn off, it's a pretty big store
Would definitely buy from there again. The store is clean and bright and the staff are very helpful. Delivery was seamless and easy - the tracking feature was great, as it helped me manage my time efficiently. The delivery personnel were professional, good problem-solvers and very courteous. Done and Done - easy.
Jysk in all different cities are tucked in a hidden spot but i would always find them. Lol I believe they have very genuine price range coupled with modern touch to everything they have in the store. The lay out of the store gives you an idea of what all they and whats the price on that. Furniture, linens, patio furniture, cushions, pillows, mattresses, home decor stuff, n much more. Since its been very busy in all the stores so i like coming here and i have done that couple times before until today I realized i shuld yelp them but this location was not on yelp. So here i am giving my first hand experience to you. During this time (covid-19) all the stores that are open are experiencing more than normal walk in and less staff so shortage of staff could be a problem here. Staff is very helpful and pleasant though. Parking is huge outside and infact there is a whole lot dedicated to patio furniture at this time of the year. Online order is easy lemon squeezy. There is a seperate counter at the back to deal with online orders. At front is payment counter. Backdoor warehouse pick up is accessible for furniture loads. U can also see mountain tops from here.
I really wanted to like Jysk, but the customer care is rather poor. First, shipping to the store – not even to my place – took two more weeks than promised, and they didn't even call me when the item was ready as promised. I had to call them every week myself as they blew one delivery estimate after another.
Second, their "price protection" is a joke. They had the chairs that I bought on promotion two weeks after my purchase, but refused to honor their published price protection policy because apparently there are additional timing restrictions that they don't publish. In my case they said that you need to make the claim on the same week as the promotion *starts*, which generally leaves only a four day window. And then even if you manage to catch that in time, it appears that you need to waste hours of your time going to the store to actually get price protection, at least if you purchased in store.
I hope the chairs will work fine, but the purchasing experience is a bunch of disappointment so far. If anyone at Jysk wants to fix this, please don't tell me to get in touch with customer support, you already have a recent support ticket with my name on it.
Remarkable array of items for the home, from fancy to very budget conscious. I saw way more good value bargains than expensive things. Nicely arranged and well lit, everything is easy to find. We'll be back for sure.
It's another box store with the same old same old. It did have a good selection of baskets at a good price point. Was okay but nothing that made me want to go there as my go to.
The whole purchase process from JYSK was fast and smooth. Got helped immediately and left with a purchase of sofa bed, desk and office chair. Extra shout out to the delivery guys! They were very professional and fast! Will definitely be back!:)
*AVOID*. Terrible quality and the staff make promises about delivery times that are totally false. (Was told delivery at 930am, and subsequently found out on delivery day that it is actually between 10am- 1pm) Will NEVER shop at this dump again *AVOID*
My family and I have been going to this Jysk for a couple years now and have always had the most efficient and excellent customer service and product knowledge from Lovenia and her team!
Service was great up until I found out from a phone call from a credit card company the next day that the JYSK employees signed me up with without my knowledge. The employees would offered me 12 months interest-free financing and so I thought why not. But what they didn't tell me was in order to do that I am to sign up for another credit card.which I do not want. I willingly gave them my information for them to sign me up for the card but didn't know it was for signing up with a new CC. I could have paid for my patio set in full but I thought why not since it was interest-free. Had I known that I was signing up for a credit card I would not have gone with this option. Just beware
We needed to set up financing and It was all done efficiently and with the friendliest person I’ve ever dealt with! Not only did she help us set things up but she gave us great recommendations for things we now want to buy in the future. I would recommend everyone to go to the store specifically and deal with exceptional staff
Love the stuff in this store, everything is awesome. Was looking at some mattresses with a family member but the salesperson started getting a little pushie, so we ended up going across the street to purchase.
Jessica is great! She helped us pick out a new patio set and was both knowledgeable and professional. She answered all of our questions and arranged everything so we had a seamless pick up process. We are looking forward to many summer bbqs on the patio with our new dinning set. Thanks Jessica ;)
Same as Ikea. Maybe different products but you still have to put them together. Watch your receipt for clearance items as the price is mostly incorrect and they over charge. I guess the new price hasn't been put into the computer.
My husband and I went into JYSK for the first time because of a sale on pillows in the flyer we received. We wasted 40 mins in the store selecting pillows and we're presently surprised by all the other products we also grabbed a large rug and some gardening supplies. However, when we went to the cashier (about to spend over $200, when the store was dead) the manager Kim refused to honour the in store advertised price on the JYSK brand of pillows. SUPER DISAPPOINTING! The whole experience put us off, that we left without purchasing anything and will not return. A shame because the pillows were super comfy.
