JYSK - Pitt Meadows

Everytime I shop at Jysk in Pitt Meadows I consistently get wonderful Customer Service. The people there go out of there way to fulfill my requests and answer any questions I may have. Today was a perfect example. I was looking to buy a clothing rack. There was one
assembled and on display at the very top of their shelving. Lorna and Jesse got a ladder and brought it down for me to test its sturdiness. They did this with a smile. Much appreciated!

Lorna helped me and my mom so patiently and kind, she was knowledgeable and caring.amazing experience. Would be returning for more shopping.

We had an amazing experience when coming into the store looking for mattresses. The manager was able to help us find an amazing price that met all of our needs. She made our shopping trip so easy and quick!

Staff were very helpful and informative. I bought a dining set and set up delivery and was out of the store in minutes.

I go into this store quite often simply to browse, and it always appears neat and orderly.

However the reason I'm leaving this review, is not about the store itself, but the customer service I received while visiting recently.

Without going into long details, I purchased an item here the other day and Lorna (the assistant manager I believe) was the epitome of customer service.

She was very helpful, engaging, and simply put, just went out of her way to assist us. It was a very pleasant and positive experience.

I find this type of interaction rare these days in retail situations, and hope she gets the credit she deserves.

I just wanted to give Brenda a big shout out for all of her help today. I was in a bind trying to find my father-in-law a mattress, and she was absolutely amazing in finding me what I needed. She actually went above and beyond all expectations. Thank you so much Brenda for all your help, will definitely be back again.

I found high quality products in the store. The customer service, Lorna, helped me a lot. She was quickly and kindly. I appreciate the order and the quality of service.

A location for items from last season. House decor, bedding, kitchen, office, dining room, bathroom.etc. I went to compare the dining tables and chairs on the floor to the same ones online from other companies. Glad I did as the furniture is cheaply made and won't be purchasing it. You do find bargains as you pick through the items. I found 2 beautiful throw pillows for my living room sofa for $13 each. Earlier in the year I purchased a very nice office desk for $100. Some prices are really good while others are over priced. The stock changes on a regular basis. Lots of parking out front.

Crooks. Do not trust these people. They hit my car in july, told me they would pay me for the damage, now they are doing everything they can to get out of paying me. Absolutely crooks and evil people. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not give them your business.

Went yesterday to get a couple of outside lights. They were packed up in the back. Thank you Nicole for digging some out for me. I love this store everyone is super helpful. Also shout out to Lorna for great customer service as well! Its very much appreciated!

Amazing staff at this location (especially Nicole). Very helpful! I always forget how much stuff Jysk has. Found what I needed easily, great prices and they helped me get the mattress into my vehicle! Highly recommend this store.

Ryan went above and beyond with helping me when I came in, jysk pitt meadows is always so clean and organized and the employees are knowledgeable and ready to help. Definitely will be coming back!

Absolutely phenomenal service from the moment I walked into the area I was interested in. Lorna was friendly & professional, gave me some great suggestions on a couple of items. Best of all she offered to ask the manager if I could purchase the floor model of a sofa I’ve been trying hard to get but it’s out of stock til September. I was overjoyed when the Kim the manager said yes! I paid for it, finished my errands & it was all shrink wrapped & waiting for me when I returned. The great service continued with the 2 staff members that loaded it onto my truck for me… the fellow even sorted out my cinch straps and made sure the load was secured. I highly recommend this awesome team at Pitt Meadows Jysk!

I forgot to add the most important thing, that I bought the most comfortable and beautiful mattress there at a very affordable price.
I had been in the hospital quite ill and could barely look for a well needed mattress. Salesperson and manager went out of their way to make it easily happen for me.
I'm still recovering from my illness and every moment I take to my bed I always thank JYSK for this wonderful mattress

If I pay the $. 05 for a bag and have my own, will the cashier put the items I paid for in the cloth reusable bag I brought with me? ! Hello, service?

Great place to buy bedding, bathroom stuff like towels. Office furniture, bedroom furniture, wall hangings, area rugs, patio furniture etc. You have to go 2 now.

Place is clean and tidy, you can find anything fast. Staff are nice. I buy so many stuff from them since 2011 and I'm happy.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We'll stocked bright an we'll arranged store. We are totally happy with our new patio furniture that we purchased during their 60% off fall sale. Don't worry about miss it!

Its decent for home furnishings much like the style of an IKEA but a smaller store. Prices are solid

Interesting stock in store, you will probably buy something that you didn't know that you needed! Lol

Clean and light shopping floor. Shopping environment is comfortable with music provided. Employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Price is good, especially in those items are currently on-sale. Check out speed is fast. Credit cards accepted. Superstore, and many shopping and dinning options are available at the same plaza. Free parking lot available. Bus stops and WCE Station are nearby in short walking distance.

We had several questions when we were in and the assistant manager named Lorna, I believe, graciously answered all of them. She also had suggestions and advice to give about what we were buying and went above and beyond to check the back stock for our product, suggest other times and days to come in if they didn't have more and even offered to give us a rain check and/or have them give us a call when it came in. She was very pleasant and friendly and she made it an all around great experience. Thank you Lorna!

This is a customer service review. I bought items on Tuesday and had them delivered by Thursday. One of them had a part defect and I had to drive 2 hours to get the part exchanged and they give me a 15 per cent refund. The products themselves are great but the assembly instructions are too vague and the lock bolts can take 10 seconds or 5 minutes.

Ordered and item online, purchased it. Then received an email that it is now out of stock but will send me one the follow month. It has been close to 3 months and still nothing.

Jysk' layout is like ikea. 1 way in, 1 way out, but smaller. But i liked the way product was laid out: It was presented very well.

Love this store. Mirrors are great prices. Beginners furniture is fairly nice and prices are great. You can get the look without the high price. Such a large choice in draperies. If you are just starting out or starting over I recommend jysk. After all you can always repaint anything to suit your needs and taste. Think outside the box and make your home beautiful.
