Super slow service. I don’t get how it takes 45 mins to get a few rolls out of the kitchen when the place is 3/4 empty. I get that you have pay in Whistler but the price and service should be correlative.

This is our new favorite dinner spot in the village! We walked in around 6 and they were able to seat us at the sushi bar.we ordered green tea, and they made sure our cups were never empty the entire time we dined with them.we ordered the rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar roll, and tropical roll.spicy tuna and rainbow were our favorites but they were all incredible.delicious, fresh, and such a great price.service was impeccable, and this was by far the coziest spot we’ve been to here, and will absolutely be back.

Very cool.of you want to try different types of fish and japanese dishes. Even if you might not like some, the experience is worth it.

We had a fantastic meal at this excellent restaurant on the night of my wife's 60th birthday. We could not have made a better choice. The food was superb and the service absolutely first class. We even had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the restaurant's owner, Tokyo Tom. A wonderful evening and I strongly recommend Ka-Ze to other visitors to Whistler.

Wonderful family run Japanese restaurant inside the Westin. They really make you feel welcome. Definitely make reservations as soon as you can, walkups are highly unlikely, or you’ll be seated hours later. Sushi selection and quality is excellent for being smaller establishment. I felt like great value! Great staff as well!

We come here every season to visit our friends here talking to the owner Tom who is the nice guy …

We ate at both Sushi Village and Ka-Ze and both are good, Kaze offers more unique options like the black cod and shabu shabu hotpots. For a more relaxed atmosphere this is the place plus the owner “Tokyo Tom” is a former Canadian professional skier so you feel like you’re part of the community.

A real Japanese restaurant in Westin Hotel. We love the food there! The udon noodles so good.

Way overpriced. Old rice. Lame flavour. $20 roll not even worth $12. Super hot and humid inside. Lame cocktails too

I ordered the special assorted sushi combo. The rice is slightly mushy, but that does not affect the flavor of the sushi. The raw seafood is fresh. I would recommend this combo to people who would like to visit this restaurant. Many Japanese restaurants in Canada add too much tempura batter to their tempura. This is one of the few restaurants I ever tried that adds the right the amount of tempura batter. I would highly recommend the prawn tempura. The waitress and the restaurant owner are very friendly too.

I also ordered a shabu shabu hot pot, however, it was quite disappointing. I could tell that the beef is of good quality, but it is too lean. Also, the portion of most items at this restaurant is relatively small compared to other Japanese restaurants in Canada except for the special assorted sushi combo.
