Kal Tire

Show up on Saturday Dec 12,2023 for a tire repair and am told Monday. 4 empty bays and 3 staff outside playing in the snow. My future business will go elsewhere. Service at this location is very poor.

Two and a half hours to get tires swapped out after being promised it would take under 90 minutes. They are overbooked and don't care. The dude at the front desk literally runs around the store trying to help people. Very disappointed.

I recently had a tire repair on a dump trailer at the Hwy 97/Industrial Road store. Despite a waiting room full of people getting their seasonal change-overs, the staff got to work on my tire without requiring an appointment. I appreciated the quick service, as it allowed me to keep to my work schedule for the day. I and my family get all of our tire service from this Kal Tire location, and always get great service.

Got a price on tires as well as information on previously bought tires and rims. Employee helping was extremely helpful and explained my options. Definitely will be dealing with this store on future tire purchases.

It’s very unfortunate we have spent tens of thousands of dollars in this store. Always loyal. Went in got trailer tires and got a quote that I was not thrilled about. Asked for a better priced. They assured me that’s the best they could do and we’re already loosing money… I drove over to the store on Elk just down the street. That kal tire gave me a much better deal! Same tire. Same ply. Ect ect. And they didn’t know me at all! I will never shop at store 40 again. Elk is my new store and I beg anyone who reads this to do the same.

I showed up with no appointment and a screw in my tire when they were clearly very busy. They fit me in right away, and were able to remove the screw which had not actually punctured the tire. They rebalanced my tire as they noticed it was a little off, and sent me on my way within an hour. Not only was I pleased with the service, they also did not charge me since they did not have to patch the tire! Would definitely come back here.

I don’t write reviews but I have to today! Blown away (pardon the pun) unbelievable service, thank you so much for fixing my tire as quickly and promptly as you did!

Had a really positive experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful and actually got me going the same day. The problem was a single fix and they did way more than I expected. They didn't even really charge me for every little thing they did. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get thier vehicle serviced.

Great folks. Was taking the truck on the highway next morning. Came in with a leaking tire 20 minutes before close. They repaired it no questions asked. Just made it happen.

Excellent service! I came out here from Regina to help my elderly parents. Enroute my vehicle stability control light started flashing and my engine light came on…I had no appointment and just stopped in, they took my car in right away and checked it over, reset my sensors and sent me on my way! I asked what the charge was and NO CHARGE! Yet another place wanted to charge me $149 to do the diagnostic! THANK YOU KALTIRE! The best service! Fast! I am ignorant when it comes to mechanics they giggled (rightfully so; not gonna deny that!) when they asked a few mechanical questions!

Both times I have come here have been for small emergenciesans, and both times I had excellent customer service and quick, efficient service! One time they helped me and didn't charge me at all!

While not visiting this location as a customer, I am a loyal Kal Tire customer as recent as yesterday. I visited this location as a courier and encountered a staff member who was extremely rude and unprofessional. With there being several other Kal Tire locations less than 15 minutes away I would have to recommend one of them.

Maximum appointment length doesn’t mean anything. My scheduled appointment to swap to winter tires took more than two hours when the policy said no more than 90 minutes. I watched my wheelless vehicle sit up on risers for 45 minutes while other cars were brought in and worked on, and when I inquired, after more than 90 minutes was up, was told by front desk staff it would only be another 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes later I finally got my car back. No acknowledgment or apology or explanation. I understand that it’s a busy time to get winter tires on, but it doesn’t build customer trust to not acknowledge or apologize when a promise is not met, especially when I expressed my eagerness to get home to my young kids who were waiting for dinner. At the very least I’ll give room around appointment times next time, and at the worst I will go somewhere in search of a place that means what they say.

Always great. I had a faster than I'd like leak and a slow leak in my tires. They looked at all four tires, just in case, determined how to fix the issue and had it all done in good time. Thank You

Night before, my heater hose to the radiator was cracked.
Corey, took all my info and told me he'd phone when things were assessed.within 2 hours, he let me know what was up, and had it all fixed within 4 hours since taking it in!:)

1225 Industrial rd West Kelowna location is where we Had 2 different scheduled appointments for vehicle inspects to be completed which were booked a week in advance and were assured a 2 hr completion time line unless work is required to the vehicles. Both vehicles were dropped off on appointment times and hours later we had to call for any kind of an update and informed they were not even started. I then asked for a manager call back regarding this issue. To no surprise, we never received a call back of any kind and sent our guys back to retrieve the trucks to take them somewhere else where our business is actually valued. Terrible customer service with a lack of commitment to appointment times and no customer follow up = NO THANKS to ever using this location again for anything, 0 stars

Always professional and I have always believed there work to be top level. They are your one stop tire and rim specialist. Including balancing, alignment brakes suspension and more. Always a fair quote with good communication skills.

These guys fit me in with 20 mins to closing. They promptly fixed my tire that had a screw in it and sent me on my way for under 35$ Thank you, Kal Tire crew, West Kelowna.

We’ve had the worst time and service at both kaltires in west Kelowna. My boyfriend brought his truck in for a noise to be fixed, they said it was the breaks and tires and had us pay $3000 to “fix it”. Then the truck still made the exact same noise and they said it’s because the mechanic put the E-break on too tight and to ride it out and the noise will go away.we’ll it didn’t. First off, they fixed the wrong things that didn’t even need to be fixed right away, and secondly, they’ve now made us abuse the truck more than it needed to be, so the real problem has gotten even worse. We brought it back in for them to recheck it out since it never went away, and they are now telling us that they can’t pin point the noise and could be so many things and we have to take it to a specialist down the road. So now we’ve wasted $3000 grand on NOTHING, and have to go spend even more to still fix the problem. Worst place we’ve ever been to and will never EVER be going to a single kal tire ever again, and will be telling everyone we know to never go there as well. They also take absolutely forever to do anything, even a safety inspection, and just waste your money on ridiculous labour hours.

5/5 would highly recommend. Every. Single. Employed. Has phenomenal customer service. Stellar work and great attitudes. Not just another tire shop.

On Friday August 21st we had a break down in our dodge diesel in the late afternoon. The staff were very, very helpful in getting us back on the road in a very timely manner. We were made to feel very comfortable and taken care of with our new puppy in tow by many staff members. A very special thanks to Ben and Brandon for going the extra mile. Watching Brandon train Ben with patience and professionalism plus the respect he showed his fellow staff was exceptional. Again thank you so very much.

I recently purchased new winter tires from this location. A month or two later the sidewall split on one of the nokian tires. Disappointed that a new tote was failed and not looking forward to buying one we went to kal and they informed us the failure was warrantable! So, we paid for a mount and balance and we’re on our way. Really happy with this outcome. Also, nokian r3 winter tires are fantastic!

I appreciate the fast service even during busy season for a repair. Always helpful, honest, and obviously very consistent. Great staff, thank you:)

They take real care in what they do. My sales person (Clint) was amazing. He actually saved me quite a lot of money as I still had some warranty on the ones I had. I would definitely recommend the Kal Tire on Industrial Rd in West Kelowna.

They have screwed up the service we asked for twice. While staff is very willing to help you get things right, we will not be back to this shop.

Booked a 10am appointment on-line for a winter tire change over on rims, car has less that 8200 km no need for inspection. My car was ready at 11: 20.80min.tires on rims a bit much. Asked to top up washer fluid. A suprise $4.50.and not full. Disappointed with this visit. Guess it was just an off day.

Great. Picked up my cousin who was dropping his vehicle for service. Quick in and out, great staff.

The staff was very friendly and entertaining. We arrived about a hour before closing time with a screw in my tire and leaking air. They had time to take my truck in and remove and plug the hole. Comfortable waiting area with coffee and popcorn. Thanks again for helping us and will be back for future work/tires!
