I picked up a nail in my tire and needed it fixed right away because I had to go to Victoria the following morning. I telephoned Kal Tire and even thought they were booked solid they said come by and "we will make the magic happen". And they did! My tire was fixed within an hour at NOT CHARGE. Wow I was blown away. And the staff is so friendly and courteous. You have my business in the future.

Absolutely fantastic service. Everyone was super friendly despite them being super busy with spring tire changeover. They were able to squeeze in work on my two flat tires amongst their busy ore-booked schedule. Honestly, I could not be happier with the service I received, and I would recommend the Courtney Kal Tire to anyone!

Boy! What a great place to go for tires! They treat you well, are attentive to your questions and focus on your needs. And the prices are better than most other places too! Clean waiting area and clean facilities. New tires in an hour and a half. It would take me that long to fix a flat.

This place operates like a joke I sat for 2 1/2 hours waiting for a wheel change tires that were on wheels and then when I finally got fed up and said what’s going on here the technician said that he sent me a text message saying it was ready the front person said it wasn’t set up for a text message so I sat there for 2 1/2 freaking hours it’s a good thing she didn’t charge me I would not recommend this place at all Then I had to walk all the way across the parking lot at the end of the building to pick my vehicle up

We have have been very pleased with our service with Kal Tire in Courtenay for many years and have bought several sets of tires there. Just lately we have found that trying to get a hold of them by phone is often difficult and a recording tells you all about the appointments and purchases you can make on line. I find this is disappointing as I have felt that what I enjoyed about dealing with them is their great personal service, as meaning in person or a person on the phone. Hopefully this is just a Covid or lack of being able to find enough employees problem and great front desk services will return.

My partner got a price for 4 tires and were told they were only sale for 50$ per tire off. I spoke with the same salesperson and he confirmed it was correct. I took the car in and the sale was only 50$ off on 4 tires. This experience cost me $150 plus tax extra than what I had anticipated. Get an all in out the door price when dealing here.

I had a bad puncture in one of my tires while travelling during the long weekend to Comox from Northern Alberta that was not repairable. On Tuesday morning I started shopping for a replacement tire. There was not a single replacement tire for my F150 to be found even from Ford. All I could find was one used tire of a different brand and type. I had called Kal Tire first thing in the morning and didn’t get through so I moved on. After spending over 3 hours on the phone calling all over the island and ready to give up I remembered I never got through to them. I called again this time getting through. Not only did they have my size but I had 4 choices of tires to choose from. Not only that but they could get me in to have them installed in just a couple hours even though they were busy. We were treated with complete kindness. Our dogs were invited to wait inside out of the heat and were given treats and a big bowl of cold water. Highly recommend!

Called talked about my tire issue on a late Saturday afternoon. They said bring it in and get it fixed for you. Thanks for the accommodation.

Friendly service and great experience! Had a sidewall flat, which was unfortunately not repairable. They were able to fix me up with a new tire. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment later that day. Really appreciate the fast fix, and the staff were all friendly and professional, despite the heat! Thank you!

Took my daughters car in to get summer tires put back on.left with broken lug stud and wheels not in alignment and pulling to the right of the road. $90 for the car to be worse than when it went in.thxs

Mr Kal tire was a very nice man. His handle bar mustache and corduroy suit reminded me of Hong Kong Long Song. Also sometimes you go in the door but then you can't find the exit so you just Ly down and have a power nap and when you wake up you have tires instead of feet. Or you may go into the Courtenay location, but when you exit you find yourself in Winkler, Manitoba. That happened to me once. I had to walk all the way home. Someone gave me kale chips and a banana popsicle in a truck stop knife fight. It was alright. I was alright. The world is alright. Everything is alright. Kal tire is more than alright because it is extremely alright.

10 in Customer Service! I have had the experiences of driving through construction sites and on two occasions have aquired nails or screws in my tires. I have been to Kal Tire twice and both times there was no charge! In these times it's hard to find customer service such as this!

Excellent service as always. Got a screw in the tire during winter when it was super busy, they patched it within an hour. They didn't charge me a thing for it either. Staff is always super friendly and nice.

Went in today because my front left tire blew, they gave me multiple options for tires and price range and they didn't try to upset at all. In fact they told me the pricier ones are only slightly better then the cheap ones. The fact that they are willing to say that makes me feel like they care about there customers and want to give you the best bang for your buck.

If you need tires in the Comox Valley then I highly recommend Kal Tire.

We had the most fantastic experience with Kal Tire today! One of my tires had a slow leak, and the others looked low as well. When my partner agreed to pick me up, he noticed his tires also had a leak. They managed to fit me and my partner in to help us with two cars, on what was clearly already a busy Saturday. I can't express our appreciation enough for their prompt and friendly service. The staff there made a huge difference in our day, and the whole experience was fantastic start to finish. I would highly recommend Kal Tire to anyone needing tire service!
