Very honest crew, I went there a few years ago for a set of new tires, they said I don't need it.

Great experience at this location! Booked an appointment seamlessly online and was greeted right away once I came in. Melinda was so great and attentive and provided a great experience for me!

These guys always go above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied and rolling. I've switched over to them about three years ago and won't go anywhere else. Great work as always fellas!

Can be a very busy tire shop in Kal Tire Richmond, BC. But front-end staff and tire technicians are professional and courteous in providing expert recommendations/services. They were able to address all my tire inquiries and concerns/follow-ups in-person and via phone/email.

Would definitely recommend Kal Tire for any tire purchases/issues.

I had an excellent experience purchasing and installing 4 new all-weather tires at Kal Tire Richmond. The service was very professional. The process was smooth, timely, and efficient - even when the tires had to be shipped from a warehouse in Alberta. Special mention to Rob the Manager, who really went out of his way to provide customers with a top notch experience. He is very conscious and respectful of your time. I will keep coming back here. I have been recommending all my friends to go to Kal Tire ever since.

Scott and Cole were absolutely stellar with their help over the weekend. Had to get some new tires when we switched out the winter rubber. They got me an appointment right away with a great price and super fast service. Will be coming back in the future.

Provided an online price for flat repair at the time of booking. Different price when you go in.

Claims that parts and material are not included in online price. It is a flat repair. You know the parts you need to repair that so it should be included in the price.

That note should only be for when you have something like a sidewall damage where repair is not possible, not as an out to not stand by the price stated.

Won't go back.

Have KAL Tire replaced my Camry’s old tires on march 2022 with 4 All Weather tires and done some mechanical job which was with reasonable price and good quality service.update: Jan 12/2023 here for tire rotation and they have done it in 30 minutes which was fast and great work. Thank you Kal Tire.

Said the front tire rod had play, refused to do alignment. Went to check for the play, it wasn't there. Wasted of time.

Busy shop - quick work - make an appointment if you need work done. One of the busier tire places in Richmond. Of course if you drop-in you are at the mercy of their current work load.

They spent a lot of time examining my tire and found it wasn't punctured.they removed it twice to be sure.then they used a sealant to prevent future problems.total cost $35.honest and decent.i'll go back every time.they were friendly and professional too

1 star because they did one thing right. The seasonal tire change was completed. 1 star because their customer service was a complete failure. Estimated 90 minutes turned into 165 minutes. The change was done and the car was parked in the lot at 120 minutes in. None of the CSRs said anything. How long would I have had to wait if I didn’t walk up to the desk asking for me keys? My fault for not saying anything before I wasted an additional 45 minutes in the expectation I’d receive a text or call as promised when my car was ready. Several customers that arrived for the same service with later appointments left before I did. Take your business elsewhere. You can do better than Kaltire Richmond.

Was told on the phone that they stretch tires however after dropping the wheels and tires off I got a call explaining they could not, which was a little annoying when I can to pick up the wheels a day later one wheel had a lot of "tire soap" or tire lube on it which looked gross and was fairly difficult to remove. However Rob was very kind and did his best to find a solution, however after removing the soap there was mild discoloration left on the wheel. These wheels are 3 pce SSR's and not cheap. I was given a potential diy solution but why wheel is still discolored now thanks to Kal Tire.

I would do 1 star however both Rob, and the manager Taylor were very patient and kind with me

I have used Kal Tire for 10+ years, and the Spruce Grove location since they opened. I had summer tires put on, was in and out within 1/2 an hour. Great service, friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant.
I can always count on them

I enjoyed working with Scott Taylor. He identified that we did not need TPMS as the car was not equipped from OEM. Other places tried to up sell me to needing them. It is very much appreciated that he is knowledgeable and caring for the customer. Goes a very long way.

Arrived early for my appointment to swap summer/winter tires. They kept me waiting for over 2-hours! They explained that the lengthy delay was due to a prior customer who was late for their appointment?

How on earth is that my problem? If a customer fails to show up on time, then have them re-schedule!

Frankly, I sense that Kal Tire overbooks and makes everyone wait.

Next time I'll go elsewhere.

Came in with low pressure on one of the tires. Knowing it'd a Saturday would be a long shot. They're usually busy. And was told they wouldn't be able to take me in unless I left car till end of day and I'm not from this area either. Doing so would leave me stranded possibly for hours. But Brian took a look at other locations for me and there own schedule and was able to fit me in! Right away! Super happy and stoked! Thanks so much! You guys never disappoint! I always refer frnds and family especially with my past experiences with kal tire!

Told me it would take an hour for an oil change for my company vehicle. 2 hours later no call. I call them and they day they're waiting on a screen? Yeah thanks for the call had to cancel appointments I had with clients

Bring in my 99% new tire for winter tire change last week. After finish the change of my car found out one of my tire there’s a side wall damage. They blame customer bring in a damage tire before they change. But they do pre inspections before I drop off my car. Unprofessional management and bad customer service EVER. I don’t even drive the car after tire change parked at their front door parking. Employee take a first look then blame customer “maybe” hit the curb when driving. I don’t even get in the car before I found out there’s a damage. And I can’t unlock my car cause there’s full of oil at my door handle, then I have to wipe it off myself then can get in the car. They let customer call customer service to make a complaint. After all only no one following my case. Only said can return a tire change store credit. What a “PROFESSIONAL” store. I refuse cause a tire change credit no even enough me to buy another 21” winter tire. Now i have to drive with a side wall damage tire through winter and feel dangerous. It should call KILL tire not KAL tire. Til now still no one following my case. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD RESULT. As a professional tire store you should admit your fault not blame customer!

I had the best experience on my first Kal Tire. I had 20" aftermarket wheels.and 255/50/20 tire to install on it.day before i went to mr lube.they tried and waisted my time.they could not do it.then i went to jiffy lube.they tried and could not do it. I called Canadian tire they said i can drop my wheel.but when i get there.they wont accept coz its fully booked.its sunday so i booked for appointment the next day good thing there was a spot on KAL and got first 8am appointment.it took them 2.5hrs.its long wait but they were very professional to check if the tire will fit the vehicle.i even saved money coz the three companies are charging $60 more.ill be back next time for my summer wheels. Kudos to the team effort.i know my wheel is giving you hard time.

This is THE place to go for tire diagnostics and new tires. We were so well taken care of. They were able to figure out a really difficult-to-find problem that the dealership couldn't even identify, and fixed it for us immediately. I am now a customer for life. Great place to get tires on your vehicle. The manager had good customer service and very knowledgeable. Definitely a repeat place for my car.

The service associates and technicians were fine to deal with. I like that they have a price match guarantee but they didn't honour it since the price expired between when I ordered them and when they were shipped to the store location. I was also disappointed the alignment machine was down and they didn't tell me ahead of time, I only found out when I dropped off my vehicle.

This is a great place to buy your tires. I bought a set of all-weather tires from Melinda L. Don't normally write reviews, except when I really get excellent service; and this is one of them. This young lady rocks!

I had 4 all weather tire ls installed on my vehicle yesterday.

Added the 4 wheel alignment and TPMS service.

The work was done professionally and I am happy with the end result.

I'm glad I discovered this place. I recently got tires from here and the experience was great. Tires were decently priced as well as compared to other options in the market for example from Costco. Staff is always very friendly and try to be helpful. You can get an appointment online or over the phone which is great and you receive text messages reminding you of your appointment and when your car is ready for pickup. This location also has a service center which is a great bonus!

Friendly and timely service. Went in for a quote, and was consulted on best repair options. Unfortunately, Original Equipment tire was not unavailable, quoted price was comparable to OE tire from car dealership.

Called and nice asian lady said its ok to bring my car in right away. I was expecting that I needed to make an appointment to fix my tire. Brought it in and same lady was very pleasant to deal with. They pulled the screw out of my tire and told me there's no damage to the tire so no need to repair! I thought i needed to pay something since they spent time taking the wheel off the car to check the tire. I was so surprised they said "no charge! " Thank you very much for your excellent service! I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how great you guys are!

Took a puncture and had to replace with the spare. Called KAL Tire at No 5 Richmond efficiently helped by MLiew. All done in half hour on checking in. Great service and job well done.

I've dealt with Kal Tire several times now and I don't have a single complaint. I just had all my tires changed there at the Richmond location yesterday and I was very happy with the service that I received. The girl whole initially helped me (didn't catch her name) was very polite, fun and even helped me search my car for the wheel lock. The front desk guy Rob who helped me after was totally awesome. He was friendly and knowledgeable, He also took the time to help me figure out which tire would work best for me based on my needs and I never felt rushed even they were clearly very busy (they were serious giving it everything). I always have a great experience with Kal Tire which is why I always return. I was reading some of these reviews and honestly, I can't believe alot of them. Thanks again for the awesome tires guys and gals and I will see you next time!

A few years ago I went and got trailer tires for blown tires. Went there with a different company to get retorque done and worker said they charge. I didn't get retorque done there when tires changed there. Paid workers in the tire business. Horrible.

Despite high volume of orders and tasks, the staff provided excellent services. I just had my suv's alignment done. I will definitely come back to swap my winter tires in a couple of months.

Came here today with my son to get a tire repair since I had got a nail in my tire. They were very kind to us and everything was laid out very well for their Covid-19 protocol and we felt very safe the whole time. If you ever have tire issues come here and skip your dealer. The pricing is fair and the service is better!

I bought my tires at Kal Tire and the promise is that they will repair punctures for free. I was told that I had to wait for 1.5hrs and had to hand over my keys. I could not use my car and come back later. After about an hour I’m thinking there should be a screen to let customers know how close they are to having their car worked on. Am I asking too much? Customers.we’ve been doing things like this for years - don’t expect improvements?

Worst experience I have even had buying and installing tires. I had no tire stem caps, tires had chalk marks all over them, finger prints on wheels, radio blaring when I got the car back, no guarantee given, wheels were over torqued, air pressure on the tires was too low and the TPMS wasn't reset. Would NOT recommend. Unprofessional.

Rates quoted for maintenance (service) is higher than the stealership. It sounds like they're capitalizing on their good "samaritan" approach and overcharging their customers who don't shop around. Not sure what program they're using or if they modified the "Wrench Head" software to overcharge their customers.

Went there at lunch time, fully expecting to wait a long time since everyone is getting Winter tires on now. They fixed my flat in less time than it took me to walk over to Wendy's to eat my lunch and walk back. Love the fast service!

If 0 stars were an option, I will have selected it. My vehicle was fine when I brought it in and I just needed a tire to be replaced. The sales clerk told me my vehicle was in a terrible condition and an alignment is needed. I had no choice and agreed to it. I took my vehicle back and it was completely unaligned. When I my steering wheel is straight, the vehicle tend to the right. In order to actually drive straight, my I had to steer to the left. How are you able to hand off a vehicle that you claim to be aligned to someone? !? ! Seriously what if an accident happened. Long story short, brought my vehicle back and they fixed it. No compensation or apologies given! I had asked for compensation and Taylor said we are not charging you for the second alignment. Why would I be charged for something that was done faculty by the technicians. I took my vehicle back and it's fixed or should I say back to how it was when I first brought it in. I looked at my dashboard and the difference in the distance of when I brought the vehicle in and when I collected it is 10km. Well my educated guess is someone took my vehicle for a coffee or lunch run. I completely lost trust and respect for this company that I felt there isn't a point in arguing with them. Definitely not recommending nor coming back again.

On a Friday morning going from Surrey to Richmond I ripped open my car tire something nasty. I phoned right at 730 am and spoke with Taylor.

My tire was holding no air and I knew a patch was out of the question. After giving tire size and running through the options, we figured I had to tow it in.

Taylor was honest and told me why a mobile service wasn't possible. It sucks to pay for a tow but that was just the only way to do it.

Taylor checked stock, had 2 new tires in right away and booked me in within a couple hours. It was Friday and I got to drive home later that day.

I have already planned on going back to this location to do my other two tires.

I hope also Taylor gets recognized for providing an awesome customer experience and giving real and honest advice. Thanks for your help my dude!

We are long-time KAL Tire customers and are familiar with their great service but this is a special call-out to Andre, a mobile service operator out of the No. 5 Rd.store. We lost a tire on a pickup truck from curbing it. When we called the emergency line Andre arrived quickly and got to work. The vehicle was in a strange situation and Andre explained how he was going to deal with it and he got the vehicle back on the road with minimum fuss. He worked with his Store to get us new tires and even helped arrange installation the same afternoon. He then made sure the owner/operator knew his way there. Andre handled everything so politely and in the most professional manner. He instilled confidence in the owner/operator and ourselves and totally turned around this unfortunate incident.

Had my car in for a service at the local dealership. Was told I had a nail in the tire which couldn't be repaired, and that I needed two new tires to the tune of $800!
Thought I'd check in with Kal Tire, and they were able to repair the tire for $40 including tax. They also did it in a matter of minutes, and the woman at the counter was professional and friendly.

I have to say that this Kal Tire is fantabulous!

I came in with a nasty problem (the lock key for my custom lug nuts broke) since they didn't have one to sell for my application, they scrounged around their own tools looking for one and spent about 20 minutes trying to help.

When they found the gnarliest (and last one they had) they did their best to tighten and torque the loose lug nuts.

They didn't have to go through all that trouble but they did.

If you are reading the Kal Tire, thank you and I'll be sure to return when I need new tires. Everyone else, go check 'em out.

They are usually pretty busy so I recommend making an appointment if you need tire replacement and such but for emergencies, you can just drop by.
