Kal Tire

I just got home from getting my snow tires put on. When we first went in, the tires we wanted, which cost more than the tires we got, we were told by the tire guy (didn't catch his name, darn) is probably not the best tire for driving in the lower mainland winter conditions and that's generally where we stick to. We don't go into the interior or anyplace like that. He showed us the best tire for us. Awesome.
Arrive today to put the tires on, greeted really friendly, got my car back within the time frame given and the whole process was seamless. Will definitely be back. Guess I have to, they have my other tires.lol. Seriously though, highly recommend.

Thanks guys! My water outlet went in my car and even though they were busy they helped me out! I usually go to Kal Tire New West but Maple ridge was just as amazing!

They did not check my tire pressure after swapping my winter tires back to all seasons. Tire pressure sensor warning was on. I brought the car back to them to get it checked and they dismissed me. VW dealership checked and found the pressures were "all over the place". If you go to Kal Tire, make sure you check your tire pressure and lug nuts!

Best tire place in Maple Ridge hands down. All the staff are always so helpful, especially Shameel (I hope I spelt that correctly!). You can feel comfortable leaving your vehicle with them.

I booked a 9am seasonal tire change, both sets had the rims on so it should be quick. When I got there promptly at 9am I was told it would be an hour and a half. I told him I’d come back in an hour and a half thinking I could get it done right away. When I called I was then told they’d try to get me in?

I bought new tires for my jeep here in the summer of 2022. Fast forward to April 2023 and I have a flat. Was able to bring it in the next morning and was seen quickly. Unfortunately the tire had sidewall damage and couldn’t be repaired. They honored the customer care plan and placed on a new tire and within an hour and a bit, I was on my way! Thanks!

For some reason I have extremely bad luck with tires. At kal tire they always get me in when I manage to ruin a tire and they get it fixed quickly and efficiently with friendly service (they even know me by name) and I couldn't be more appreciative of the work they do. My car appreciates them too

I came into the shop yesterday in search of some winter tires for my truck. I had already been to Canadian tire and a few other tire shops, they gave me a flat “no we don’t have any in your size”

I was greeted by an absolutely wonderful human nick named boogie (Trevor I believe his name was)

He went out of his way to endlessly search for some winter tires for me and eventually found a perfect match. Boogie was so friendly, patient and kind with all of his customers. I found myself feeling confident that I was getting the best product from a man who clearly knew his stuff and not just trying to rip me off. I also noticed his staff were very happy and knowledgeable as well, seemed like a great place to be working!

Thank you so much boogie. You turned what can be a stressful experience into a really great one. I’ll forever stick with Kal tire from here on!

Good experience with buying winter tires and having them put on. The whole process was straightforward and simple.

Kal Tire Maple Ridege, lougheed and 210th are fantastic! From the guys in their service bay to Trevor and Fuad the faces out front. They are professional, friendly and always willing to help with your tire needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very friendly but expect some level of incompetence. Told me they can mount 37" tires over the phone so i bring them 4 of these heavy things + my old 4 wheels in a trailer i rented they call me next day to say they cant do it. OK so I get down there load them back up, get home, and when I went to reinstall with old tires notice not only did Kaltire for some reason deflate two of them, they didnt put on the 10 dollar funky dice air valve caps i had and as icing on the cake they also didnt put back in the damn valve stem cores. Now I drive to Canadian tire in port coquitlam as its the only one open at 8 pm to buy the tool and valve stems otherwise I have to lug these things back to Kal Tire again. All in all wasted a good 6-7 hours on Kaltire which some of you can relate is extremely valuable. Staff were very friendly though. Smiles and polite manners. Thats nice. But all in all that really frustrated me on a Saturday evening.

I learned a good lesson which I keep forgetting. Always inspect everything/anything someone gives to or back to you. Always check their work as you would your children's. Do not assume anything.

Failed to match rebate offers from competitors thus not actually matching prices.

Kal tire always takes care of me whenever i need it. Tire change. Tire repair. New tires or wheels. Always helpful and definitely knowledgable. Will recommend

I had an issue with a tire that kept losing air so I brought it in fully expecting to spend $50 or so to patch it.
After 45 minutes they called me back and said they fixed it and weren’t going to charge me anything because it was such a simple fix. They could have easily charged me for it and I would have no idea but they didn’t.
It’s hard to trust mechanics when you have no idea what you’re talking about but these guys are super friendly and clearly know how to take care of a customer.
I don’t write reviews often but these guys deserve a good one:)

I came in to Kal Tire to have a tire repaired and was told it was not fixable due to the location of the nail. Trevor was so helpful and found a set of practically new tires to fit my car and saved me a ton of money. I will definitely recommend Kal Tire to my friends and family.

Very busy. Service arranged that I leave my flat tire and come back the next day and they would install it for me. Good and friendly service.

Just had a collision night before near the Kal Tire and limped over to the parking lot however I could not swap the spare tire since the wheel nuts were far too tight. I called Kal Tire the next morning and Trevor took a quick look. I came into the shop Trevor went out to my car and did the tire swap with the spare free of charge! I am very thankful to Trevor and the team who also made sure that the spare tire had enough air and the spare was installed well and properly.

They got me in quick and completed the work ahead of schedule. Friendly staff. Fair pricing. Was very happy with the repairs I had done here.

We had a tough day today with a flat tire on the highway with 2 kids and a very long tow truck wait, but Jordan and team in Merrit saved the day! They were amazing and so kind - even though we got to them 25 mins before closing. Thank you guys!

I just got a call from the Kal Tire Regional director, Jim Baker.
He was amazing. He listened to my story and wanted to know exactly what transpired. He has also spoken to everyone involved. He believes it was probably a stress/overwhelmed reaction by the fellow I dealt with who is actually a newer employee. Either way, he not only totally owned everything that happened, he is also PAYING for the tire repair we already had done by someone else!
THAT was excellent customer service.

Apparently Kal Tire is great at cleaning up their messes. A BIG thank you to Jim Baker and to Kal Tire.

I actually cannot remember the last time I was treated with such male chauvinism. Although my husband had called ahead I was virtually ignored by the male boss (**was NOT the boss, the boss was in a meeting**) while he happily chatted with a guy who came in after me. The young lady working there, who was lovely, looked genuinely embarrassed and stepped up to help. By the time this man was willing to look at me, he informed me there was no longer space. The disrespect was palpable. I left shaking and and am sitting here holding back tears. Guess I won’t be back.

Highy recommend this place the customer service is amazing and they will help in every way they can

I live in Chilliwack and was out doing deliveries in Maple Ridge when my new to me (3 days to be exact) Ford E350 club wagon broke down. It was the alternator. I called Kal Tire (thank you Siri). Kayla was sympathetic to my situation and squeezed me in if I could get a tow there. Thanks to Maple Ridge Towing! They had me hooked up within 10 minutes (again… thank you Siri). Kayla ordered 2 possible alternators to make sure she had the right one and I was on my way to complete the rest of my deliveries in less than two hours! Thank you all very much!

Minus one star because I was not offered to have my wheels re-torqued after a wheel/tire change. Luckily I'm aware this needs to be done, so I'll do it myself. For someone else who doesn't know, it could be dangerous.

The prices were better than their competition.

The store staff were able to fit me in for a flat repair. They were a really energetic and friendly team. I will definitely be using this Maple Ridge location again for my tire needs.

This store helped us out a half hour before closing, when the other location that we stopped at (one hour before closing) wouldn't. Thanks to Trevor Kelly and his team for making sure that we would be safe on the rest of our journey. We are most grateful.

I’ve been a customer at this location for a few years and I continue to come back because clearly they are doing something right. They have always been fair with me. I went in to have my tires checked because I was loosing air. They did all 4tires and did not charge me. It was a friendly atmosphere. It was my first time there and I was impressed.

The staff was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns on which tires buy. And not at all pushy to buy the more expensive tires. Great place to buy tires!

Had such a terrible day with the bolts going into my tire and being able to find nowhere to get it fixed. Not only did the guys here squeeze me in they even threw in a tire rotation for me because I was due. They worked overtime just to get my car done and get me and my kids home. All were super courteous and professional and Trevor for sure went above and beyond

Great staff and customer service. Kayla was very knowledgeable and made the process of buying rims and tires fast and easy. I had some issues with my TPMS sensors but Kayla made sure I was taken care of and quickly fixed the rare issue. I'd highly recommend Maple ridge Kal Tire for your time/tire purchases and needs

Sadly kal tire moved our winter tires to some warehouse in Chilliwack last year so took us awhile to track them down.

If i could post 0 stars i would. Waited for 20 min on hold only to be told 10 times to continue to hold.
Then i finally get to ask my question to a clueless fella who was extremely rude, quick and not sure he knew what he was talking about. These guys cant even answer a call properly.do you think they can install a tire? !? Good luck.

I took my Mercedes M class for an alignment, the service man told me that they won't align it unless I change the left and right tie rod ends (inner and outer) because they were worn. They quoted over $1,000 to fix the tie rod ends. When I took the repair to another mechanic, they told me that the tie rod ends was still good. So not cool!

Great service! Thank you so much Zak for your help today. You helped after service hours. Who does that on Friday after 5pm. Zak came to help me as Kal Tire location was just 2 minutes walking distance from my work. I went there & Zak came with me, changed with spare tire & then at the shop they fixed flat tire with no service charge. I had some cash but they refused to take it. Very nice & friendly staff! Highly recommended to all for the great service!

I was in need of simply getting some air in my tires. I phoned and was informed they were busy swapping winter tires for customers. I wonder if I'd needed new tires If would have been looked after. Bad when you can't help customers with a small problems. Doesn't make you want to go back when you need tires. Should look after all customers. I said I could come in whenever was convenient for them but they just weren't interested.

Always overpriced, they claim to price match but their labor cost is high also, 3 star for good enough service and professionalism

My second time going to this place. They set me up with some great tires for my '62 Skylark a couple years ago. Super friendly and helpful staff! Today I was looking for hubcentric spacers and even though I didn't buy them, the guy took his time and treated me like royalty. This attention to detail is very much appreciated in this day day age. I will always remember how they treated me with respect in every way. Thanks!

I thought I had booked an appointment on line for a tire replacement, but when I showed up turns out I hadn't. Despite it being a very busy Saturday, the gentleman I dealt with went out of his way to locate the tires I wanted, had them delivered, and were able to put them on my car that day, Customer service doesn't get any better than that.

Great service and friendly staff. I had a popped tire, they price matched a quote I had from a different location, fixed and rotated my tires. Also adviced me on maintenance requirements for other issues with my car relating to my tire.

When I went to pick up my Porsche it smelled of nasty cigarette smoke and there was ashes on the dash. Disgusting service! Don't recommend it!
