I just got 4 new snow tires today.great team and quick service, it’s my first time to using their service with Kal at this location. The whole process goes well. Keep it up. Business is always evolving with your service.

Kaltire Ontario st.is the only place I go for all my tires and tire changes as they are helpful, understanding, and fast especially when booking during peak seasons. One employee in particular, Abrar, provides advice on what’s best for my tires and I always feel comfortable there. Definitely worth the commute for reliable and trustworthy service:)

Kal Tire at this Richmond location used to be really good, it was staffed with good people who had cared about their work. They have had earned my loyalty, and I had subsequently purchased two sets of tires, 4 winter rims, full sized spare tires & (plus miscellaneous brake job) from them over a 6 year period. Had liked them so much that I would not hesitate to recommend Kal Tire location to anyone I knew. Today I showed up at my scheduled appointment for yet another set of Nokian All Weather tires, and had the intention to have them service my engine & inverter cooling systems (it's a hybrid vehicle.) Walked in, waited patiently, as I saw the one & only counter staff wearing a reflective vest was running in & out busily. Of course, I didn't want to interrupt so had continued waited on the black rug in front of the service desk without raising a tone. Can't remember how long I waited but it was long enough for me to learn the first name of one of the counter staff (overhearing their conversation) plus the other who spoke impressive fluent Spanish. Sadly during the whole time, they had treated me like thin air: no acknowledgment of my presence. I understand they were doing the best they could, probably due to staff shortage. I didn't want to intrude, so had continued waited. At the meantime I noticed the premises was well organized. There were two customers seated in the waiting area. The lot with no more than 4 vehicles.
To make the long story short: if they had simply "hi", or "will be with you shortly. " Would perfectly happy to have stay waited. So sorry Kal Tire, I will be shopping somewhere else. The reason I am writing this review isn't to ask for perks in return but to tell all other potential customers to shop some place else.

I have gone to the Ontario Street Kal Tire for 8 years. The staff - especially Abrar and Ramon - are very knowledgeable and have become friends. The technicians do a great job of servicing my car, and provide helpful information when decisions need to be made. I highly recommend this Kal Tire!

Drove over a nail on the way to work. Went to Kal Tire and shortly after, left with a repaired tired. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The staff at this Kal Tire are extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. I made my way there during the recent snowstorm as my tire pressure indicator light came on and they quickly put more air in my tires and reset the code and refused to charge me. Made my day. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

These guys only know what's in front of them.they have 0 in depth tire experience.they can't even tell you the different valve stems, and think no cars run tubed tires and what a tube does.they have no idea.you're a tire store, you should know your craft.may as well be a guy from mcdonalds trying to help you.

I have always gone to Kal Tire on Main street for tire services. It is 2 minutes from my house. I had a screw in one of my tire and I know it was fixable. When I went to see them, the gentleman at the counter looked at my tire and said they cannot fix it. My friend said I should try another Kal Tire. I was in the area on Ontario and Main street. Decided to give it another shot. With no hesitation, they took my car and fixed it with a hour and a half. Although they provide really good services, it is not always consistent which is very sad.

A HEADS UP. Kal Tires NO LONGER repair flats for free! (Unless the tires were purchased from them.) Too bad, I was personally responsible for at least 5 sets of tires purchases (friends, family, and myself) because they used to do patches for free! They helped me out once and I returned a favor 5 times over!

This is the 2nd store after I have visited (Kal Tire - 6th St).

Called today at 130pm to try to make an appointment for front brake replacement service. Lady answered and asked me to be put on hold. Half an hour later I hung up. 2 to 3 times I heard someone pick up the phone but says nothing and puts me back on hold.
Terrible.

Went in to get my back tire's torque checked was in and out in 10 minutes!

Great experience, very professional staff and delivered ahead of promised time at quoted price. This is my 3rd time buying a set of 4 tires here as their after sales warranty and service's are always given with a smile. 8 do recommend this location.

Had a fantastic time here getting tires for my Tiguan. I was given a lot of help selecting the right size, as I wanted to have a slightly bigger tire than what was stock. I bought a week later my tire got a flat, and I came back and they repaired it very quickly free of charge. Extremely happy with the service of this location.

I had my tires store and change here twice a year, and last year I installed a set of tire sensors from Ontario shop onto the winter tire. As usual, I had the tires changed in the beginning of this September. Don't know what happened the tire signal was on and I bring back to check it out. The front desk lady told me one of the sensor was dead and need to be replaced (she recommended 4 of them) and cost $120.00 per sensor. I told her I just install it last winter. It should not malfunction within a year (actually only 6 months of usage). She told me there might be something wrong or some unknown reasons.
Finally I left the store without fixing it. Honestly, it is not a good experience to me.

They were quick and efficient. My only complaint is they sprayed my tires when they were on my car, and it got all over my paint and trim.

Just want to share an experience I had with their service rep for a flat tire, after being advised by a passerby trucker nearby the shop that I had a flat tire, he suggested I head to this place close by. Sauntered into this shop and asked to see if they could look at it, service rep said it was too close to closing time (an hour away) and the one mechanic was ready to head home. No problem but I wanted to see he could add a little air into the tire so I could head to another shop nearby, he said he could do that, drive back and as he was about to put some air into the tire, he quickly surmised that I needed to get some new tires because as he said this tire would blow up on me. I headed across the street to Cdn Tire and they luckily could fix the tire, after a long wait, almost 2 hours as they were very busy. In the meantime, the mechanic said the tire could be easily fixed by patching the tire and removing the screw or nail in the tire and that the tire was fine afterwards. One suggestion to these kinds of shops, quit BS and upselling customers, it only results in bad reviews and a bad reputation. Just my 2 cents here. Peace out!

Cool Tyre Shop. Retro 70s Styling inside with diner bar stools and ridged steel floors. Very cool. There is, though a strong smell of rubber inside the shop, not very pleasing to stay for too long.

My family have our tyre rotation, winter/summer tyres and brake related jobs done here. Recently had brand new summers for a Subaru Outback, Toyota Corolla and Toyota Celica. All are amazingly done.

My wheels were scratched badly from the inside while someone tried to remove the weights.

This quality of work is expected from a shady independent shop, but not from a professional chain of shops. And to think I was going to trust them with my summer wheels.

If you care about your car, don’t go there. There’s defiantly a lack quality of work and professionalism.

Disappointing service. I was advised on the phone that no appointment was necessary. Arrived and was told that they were too busy and should make an appointment!

Dishonest establishment, stay away! Blew a front tire and needed to replace it. The guy working there refused to sell me a single tire and said I must buy 2 for 'safety'. He said this prior to even looking at the condition of my other front tire still on the vehicle which was still really good. After putting on the 2 new ones I came back and asked where my good tire was, he said he would be right back. Came back 5 mins later and provided me with my blown tire. He also tried to hide the fact that it was blown by turning it around and putting it by the door so I wouldn't inspect it. I obviously saw that it was blown and had to show him the large obvious punctures in the tire before he would actually return my good one.

Great service, great staff, reasonable prices, and they don't tell you what you "need"

Had a great experience here. Knowledgeable staff and got my summers to winter switched same day last minute which they didn't need to do. So much appreciated. I was working with the assistant manger name Liam. Very nice guy. I've been there before and will be back for sure.

Probably the best Kal Tire in Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley. They often fix mistakes or omissions caused by other Kal Tire locations.
