Updated: the manager contact me and fix the price.

I went there buying a whole set of new tires. Technician find one of the tire stud got damaged and need to be repaired next time. After I got home I find there’s one more locknut went missing and also my centre cap got disappeared as well. Reception gave me a quote for the tire stud repair. I went there thinking maybe I can find my centre cap back. Regardless the front desk rep seems tired of talking to me but they do find my wheel cap. However the bill for fixing is like a hundred bucks higher. Won’t go there anymore.

Fast and cheap. Fixed the wheel as expected. 1 puncture caused by a screw.

Price online changes to price paid in-store. Only reason why it's not 5 stars. Not sure the price discrepancy.

Awful manager. Larry is the worst manager this location has had in years.what is going on?

Fraudulent counter staff and useless technicians!
I went to the Burnaby location to purchase snow tires and they mounted my new snow tires and bagged my all-season tires. In the spring when i returned they told me that I had punctured one of my all seasons. I asked them how I drove to the location as my car doesn't come with a spare to buy snow tires. The counter guy agreed with me and ordered a new tire. I asked him don't you have to change tires in pairs as that is what one is told when you go to a tire shop with a tire that can't be fixed. He said no that's fine. Since my car is a fleet car, I rarely see an invoice. I just noticed that they billed me for the tire that they destroyed, and they told me that they were going to replace at their cost. If you look at the picture you can see that the technician tore a 2-2.5" hole in the side of the tire. How do you do that?
Total garbage service and no accountability.
Avoid this location!

Scammed me and gave me the wrong tires. I went in the manager took my number and shooed. Me away
. It's been 3 weeks I haven't heard from them. Scammers

I bought all my all-weather tires from Kaltire more than a couple of years ago. I changed two of them in January due to some side nails, etc, which made the tires unrepairable. It's more than 5 months past. I got another nail in one of the recently changed tires (lots of big construction projects going on around us), and one of the old tires also started losing pressure. So I went back, and they repaired both tires (old and new) at no charge! Amazing! Thanks, guys!

Woke up with a flat tire. Left my vehicle with them. They were able to fit my tire repair in during the day, no charge. Will be buying my next set from them again. Thanks Kal Tire for supporting your community.

Been a loyal customer of them for years but ever since covid, these guys have gone downhill. Just today came in to ask for a puncture repair and the front desk clerk says I have to book and it'll be next day. Seriously? Give your head a shake. If you can't fit in couple puncture repairs in your day, don't bother calling yourself a tire shop. Must be making all the big money on new tire installs. Went to a smaller shop on hastings and they had it done in 45 mins. Won't be going back to Kal tire until they fix their scheduling and customer service.

I would 100% recommend coming here for a very excellent customer service and as well as any problems you might have with your car. I had previously visited to get my car checked out for some issues and as well as an oil change, must I say that Inder was very helpful and my oil change took no time at all. As soon as I came in, he took no time at all to make me feel welcome, but also provided a very highly exceptional customer service experience throughout the whole time. I would DEFINITELY recommend this location to all friends and family and don’t forget to ask for Inder. Thank you so much KALTIRE!

Hashem is the most polite and professional guy I have ever encountered at a mechanic shop. He was transparent, fast, and extremely friendly when dealing with my truck and had it ready sooner than anticipated. These guys earned all my future buisness, thanks Hashem!

Not friendly at all they told me they could fix my tire before they close although they made me wait for over an hour past their closing time with no tire fixed and gave me somebody else’s tire they left it in my back seat and told me I had to come back.

At the end I had to attend to another sucursal where I got what I wanted with a friendly service.

Went to get some quotation on my car as need Alignment and brakes on it. My rep Inderpal helped me out and prepared some quotes for me. He was excellent in his service. They were busy but Inderpal acknowledged me as soon as I entered store. He explained me kal tire customer care policies and help me understand more about my vehicle.
Will definitely be back and will recommend this location to all my friends and family.

Amazing service here! Definitely recommend go above and beyond for customer service, Rounitt was amazing and so was the technician Andy, super quick and efficient!

I called immediately when they opened the day of my appointment to see if there were any cancellations to attempt to get in earlier. The agent was rude and stated no and they won’t even look at my vehicle until my appointment time. Taken aback I already knew this wouldn’t be a great experience.

Staff explained that it would be 90 minutes when I arrived. Nothing in the area to busy yourself with so waited in the shop. My car sat in the lot for 90 minutes before it even went in to start a simple seasonal tire changeover. Total wait time two and a half hours. Won’t be coming back.

Ordered two tires.

Didn't bother calling to tell me they didn't arrive. Had to take time off work and got a sorry we're short staffed rationale.

So today I dropped off my car at Kal Tire on Boundary Road in Burnaby, as per my appointment to have the summer tires mounted. They told me it would take up to two hours, and they'd text me when it was done. I managed to fill two hours (not easily done in that neighbourhood BTW) and still no text so I walked back, to see my car exactly as I had left it, parked right in front of their office.
Obviously they lost track of it.
They told me it would be done next (!)
I demanded my key back and left with a few choice words.
Not even a hint of an apology.

Went in looking for new M+S tires, Jamie was super helpful and hooked me up with the right tires for truck.

I took my wife's car in to the Boundary road location to get the tires topped up. The gentleman that was serving me did the job very quickly and was very polite and friendly. This is why I take my business to Kal-Tire great service and very polite and friendly staff. Let me suggest to anyone needing any work done on there car or you need tires check out kal-tire you won't be disappointed.

Spent $320 to fix a squealing noise. They replaced two parts that were somehow responsible for one noise. 2 weeks later the vehicle started making the same noise again. Now my time is being further wasted as Im on hold for 10 minutes plus. Never again. Never go here, worst sevice ever. Why is there no zero star option?

My first experience here didn’t go so well, and honestly had sworn not to come back to this location. I recall standing in the front waiting to be acknowledged while the guy working was looking into his computer and pacing around. Then being spoken to in an almost sarcastic tone. The technician did a seasonal tires swap for me, but not an alignment due to some damaged that needed to be done. Instead of giving me the option to hold off on tire change, since i won’t be able to drive anyways. Not only that, but my oil change was done and I had to call back and request a change date, since they forgot the sticker in the window.

But it’s close to home, and super convenient, so I gave it a second shot. This time, not only were the guys working the front super friendly, but so was the technician. Ryan (i think was his name) was so great! He had top notch customer service skills and very good feedback for me.

Staff is overworked. Only high end tires (as far as I know) so if you need a tire for a beater is not your place. If you need Z rated tires for your muscle car then they are the ones to see. They have all the top rated rubber you could want.

Very bad experience! Employees without integrity！
I have appointment at 9am with them for safety inspection. When i arrived at 9am, They told me that the employee who responsible for safety inspection, did not come to work today. That’s waste of my time, if the mechanical not able to work, you should tell me before the appointment.

They are rude, bullish, and the last time I was there, they forgot to finish the job they were doing. Oh, and they do not do mechanical work!

Always professional and friendly service. They are punctual with their appointment, always on time as promised. Bought 4 sets of tires from them and happy with their services.

Had a rough experience with this Karl Tire. I suspect the service would be better if I was spending a thousand dollars on new tires, but that was not the case for me.

I dropped my vehicle off for a flat repair at 8: 30 and was told it should take about 4 hours. I called 6 hours later to get an update as I hadn’t heard from them, and spent 47 minutes on hold.

When I showed up to pick up the car, they hadn’t even started working on it.

Had a leak if one of my tires and was close by this location so dopped by to see if they could repair it for me as my dealership isn't open on weekends. Not only did they do the repair they did not charge for it and asked me to consider then for future services (which I will. As again my dealership isn't open on the weekend and they are) kudos to the staff at this location

Had a screw in my tire. Came first thing the morning without an appointment. Staff helped me out and was out within 45 mins. Great job.

After I hit my right front tire to the curb under the snow conditions. So I wanted to do a wheel alignment. They told me it will be $2000 fix then wheel alignment for $120.
So I went to WV dealer for a 2nd opinion just around the corner and VW told me I didn’t need to fix anything to do a wheel alignment.

I almost lost $2000 for nothing!

On the other hand, they offer FREE Flat tire fix even I didn't buy the tires there.
I am 100% sure I will be buying next set of tires there.

Just buy some tires at Kaltire!

Its 10am on a Thursday I understand its snowy out but if its so busy to leave someone on hold after saying 3 words for this long maybe hire more people? Embarrassingly bad I've had better customer service from ISP's and that's saying something. I am still on hold typing this if you don't want customers to phone in or hire people how about an automated callback system?

I ended up hanging up after an hour of being on hold phoning the nearby metro town Kal Tire less then 10 minutes from this location. They got me an appointment in the same day in less then 5 minutes.overloaded phone systems.sure. Will never use this location

Terrible service. Don't waste your time. Went in to get flat tire fixed an hour before closing, only for them to say in screwed, I tried calling prior but their phone systems advise you to come in person and don't allow you to speak with manager. I manager was absolutely zero help.he wouldn't even refer me to another location or tell me when he could help me.

Kind of slow due to a very busy day, but good service and did what I asked to be done. The waiting room is clean and has a fancy coffee machine. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Good work, I will definitely be coming back.

Had a alingment done on my Jeep twice there in the past. Didn't feel right and took it elsewhere and was told they did a awful job. Recently took my work van there for a tire that had a slow leak. They told me it could not be fixed and that I needed 4 new tires and the alingment was horrible. I said no problem as I knew tires were worn pretty bad. Van Drove just fine. I didn't think alingment was that bad but not my money so I said ok do what you need to do. Took them a day and a half to get 4 tires on it. Still no big deal. Then days later I go in the back of my van. I find all the tire Jack equipment all over the place. I looked under the van and spare tire is gone. I phone them and they didn't know what happened. They said they would call me right back once they looked into it. Day and half later I called them as they haden't got back to me. Wasted about 45 mins of my work day and they still don't know what happened. They lost it and now I have to wait until they can find something to replace it with. After this I am never going back to them. Every time I have dealt with this location it seems under staffed and just not run properly. I would rather deal with a mom and pop shop then this. Rant over.

No customer service and expertise.
Perhaps, these guys are good to do a simple job like replace your tires.
I needed to have mechanical service.
First called - was promised to have a call back for quote which never happened.
Then dropped in - the guys at front deck was not sure about service I needed and suggested to go through vehicle inspection first to know the quote - which is ridiculous. Moreover, inspection would cost me $100+ if I don't do job with them.
Ran away.

Manager/Supervisor, Nav needs an English lesson first, then he needs a lesson in customer service, then he needs a lesson in anger management, then a lesson that looking down at a customer is actually "bad" in Canada. Maybe Kal Tire will be successful after these steps. Not sure he's an International Student or Foreign Worker. Nothing against anyone, I was a foreign worker at one point, but a guy who hardly can understand you, is highly disrespectful, gets mad at customers; is managing a corporate store? Give me a break!
