Kal Tire

Underinflated my LT tires after I told them they were LT. Took two hours to do after arriving for my appointment on time. Front desk staff were talking rude about perfectly pleasant customers out in the open. Awful

Have been a customer of Kal-Tire for a long time for all of my Tire needs. In the past service has been good but lately I can no longer say the same. I had a regular servicing of my car at our dealership where we mentioned some shaking when driving the car. The dealership did a mechanical inspection and told me that the problem was tire separation on the front 2 tires and that it was not safe to drive. Since the tires still had lots of life left and was still under warranty we were told to go back to Kal Tire to see if we can get a warranty replacement on them. Spoke to Adam and had the car in to check on tire separation and did not get a call back from them just a text notification that the car was ready for pick up. When I came back they told me that they did a wheel alignment and rebalanced tires. I asked about the tire separation and they told me there was no problems and that the dealership made up the story.

I dove the vehicle home that evening and still felt the shaking during driving so the next day contacted Kal-Tire and again spoke to Adam about the tire separation and he was told me that their team spun the tires and closely inspected the tires for any separation and did not find any signs nor any indication from the dealership there was tire separation. He then told me to book an appointment with Kal Tire's mechanics to determine the cause of the shake and that it would cost us more money to fix whatever mechanical problem it was.

Not knowing who was the liar in this case. I contacted the dealership who was sure there was tire separation and invited us back to show us the separation that they had marked.

I decided to have a third party give us advice so I brought in the car to a local mechanic to do a full assessment on the vehicle to see what the problem is and the result was no mechanical issues and noted that there was bad tire separation on the front 2 tires and that was the cause of the shake. He then noted that the car dealership had clearly marked the areas where the tires were separating so he was not sure why Kal Tire could not find any signs of separation.

I am very unhappy with this service from Kal Tire since it is a safety issues that involves my entire family who travel in the car. I was more than happy to replace the tires but was given a run around to charge me for alignments, balancing and mechanical charges that I did not need. Shame on you.

I will now go else where for all my Tire needs. You have lost a long time customer for life.

Would you bring your car to a mechanic that has no problem lying? I called in to see if I could have a damaged wheel lock nut removed. The mechanic claimed this was not possible due to them not having the tools. There is no way a tire shop does not have a wheel lock removal or extractor tool. I would understand if they are too busy to take on that job or don't have the man power but explaining they can't do it because of not having tools because they don't want to do the job is extremely lazy and doesn't reflect well on the attitude of the mechanics at this location.

My experience at Kal Tire was great. Adam was super helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks again!

Huge Shoutout to Kal Tire!

I purchased a control arm less then a year ago and it seemed like the same one needed to be replaced. They honored the warranty and had it replaced.
I did my own shocks (April 5) on a 20 year old car and after they where done, my car really needed a wheel alignment.

I was able to call and get in same day (April 6) which was amazing!
This shops are always so busy, especially before long weekends, but they really did help me out.

Got winter tires here.paid arm and leg. Asked how much to swap them.wow 150 bucks. Rather do it myself. Will never do buisiness here again

This guys always find time to check my tire pressure and anything else I ask them for. Wish there was more places like this.

Went in a year back as my tires needed replacement.great help from the front desk suggesting tires and got me booked in and all went smooth.i asked few questions about the warranty and after purchase service.some reality experience now:
1.while purchase I was told I can get free tire rotation with the purchase and could be done in 6-8 months or 8K its not 8K but more than 8 months, so I went to the reception and asked and they booked me in.now went on time for my appointment expecting about 1 hr wait.waited 2hrs and my car was still on parking lot.upon asking they said may take some more time and I can understand.but, after 2 hrs I got a call saying tires does not require to be changed.so why not tell me when before booking an appointment or when I was there at the time of appointment. "WAIST OF TIME".
2.today I went in to repair the tire puncture and the guy on the customer service told me he will book me 5 days from today, so he expects me to not use my car for 5 days? I understand the mechanics may be busy with others who are already booked in.so, when I told him I'll remove the tire myself and then can he get someone repair the tire? Answer was you can guess it.finally, so when you are doing business with them they are not that busy.but when you ask after purchase service they are very busy.lol hats off. BTW this was my second time purchase from them.

Was a customer for many years. Always try to give the benefit of the doubt, but just too many unacceptable customer service experiences. Won't be back.

Normally have had a decent experience with this location but today again was not. There was a long wait in getting the work done as they were backed up. No problem. I waited patiently and saw my car go in for work an hour and a bit after my appointment time and then off the lift. I waited another 20 mins knowing they are backed up and busy and not wanting to bother them. I then went up to the 1st employee to inquire and she said that the work order has not been sent back to them yet. She did not bother to inquire as to why. 20 mins later another customer who had an appointment 30 mins after mine was told their car would be ready in a few minutes. I inquired again and was told a text was sent out awhile ago according to their system, which I did not receive. YOUR TEXT SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. This is not the first time I've had to go up to the counter to inquire about my car after the work has been completed and after giving them a more then reasonable amount of time for them to call my name to help me on my way. I'd like to keep coming to this location but now I need to find a good reason to do so.

Above and beyond service. Always friendly and go the extra mile to keep people safe on the road. 100% recommend getting tires from them. Free rotations, check ins, and they fix any issues that come up on tires you purchase from them. Exceptional!

Excellent staff that are very knowledgeable and wil lhelo to get the tire you are looking for. Fast service and very friendly. They also offer drop in flat repairs which has been a life saver in the past.

Called them for a quote. I was asked if my truck was a fleet vehicle. I replied it might be but not sure about it. She then proceeded to tell me I needed to bring it in for a quote then she hung up the phone without saying bye. One of the rudest customers service I ever encountered. This is no way to bring new customers in.

I went in to order a specific set of perelli tires, that isn't normally a stocked item at Kal Tire. Nate was able to find the exact tires I was looking for and have them shipped in. Great customer service from Nate and Adam.

Be careful of getting ripped off here. Took my car in and was told one of the tires was damaged and that I also needed another one (tires were pretty much brand new only 10k km on them and when I showed them to my dad he said what are they talking about, you didn't need 2 new tires). Spent $500 that I didn't really need to, plus they damaged by hubcap by using a screwdriver to pry it off when that isn't recommended. Will NOT be back! Very disappointing service!

I have purchased a set of Nokian tires from KalTire over a year ago. I have been very happy with tires and the service I have received. I have been so happy that my partner got a set for her car, my parents got two sets and my brother got a set of tires too. I even got a set for our work delivery Sprinter van. No regrets, every time KalTire delivered an outstanding service.

Kal tire did such an incredible job helping me with my tires. They were so friendly, got me an appointment quickly and did a very good job with my tires. I felt like they were very honest and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.

I came to get new tires and Nate was a very cool guy who took very good care of me and treated me as family. He is very funny and has a great sense of humour. He always made sure I was taken care of and I always felt like he had my best interest in mind. Great experience overall!

Just purchased my second set of tires here. Knowledgeable staff. Good work and well priced.

The customer service from Adam at the front desk was great and the service in my car was timely and efficient. HOWEVER, when I got my car back there were grease marks on the inside driver side door handle and seat. So much that my own hands got dirty after I drove it back home! But they did offer to clean all of it afterwards, which was very nice!

I’ve enjoyed Kal Tire’s exemplary service since the beginning.
