Most disappointing experience just to have my tires changed as my time was wasted. Was told that it would be done by an hour. When I returned at the hour mark I told the person at the front desk that I was waiting for my tires and they acknowledged me. I sat at the waiting area right beside the counters for another hour and a half and no one checked in. When I checked in again to ask what's happening with my tires they said that they called me.

When I checked the number they had on file it was wrong. They have two numbers on file and the other one was correct. It seemed that they just gave up after the first try and never bothered to reach out again. Wasted so much of my time. It says a lot too when there was another guy in front of me complaining about his service and lack of communication towards him as well. This is my third time here and it's usually been okay. Not sure if anything changed with management this year but I would not go back anymore.

The team here were really amazing and helpful with my emergency flat tire repair. I called them just before closing time and they waited for me to get my car there! Not sure I’ve ever had such good service for a car repair anywhere.

My car required 2 tires and Kaltire is, or was, my go to garage for all tire needs.
This past Thursday I had 2 tires replaced and the technician told me I needed brake pads replaced. I thought it was strange because typically rear brakes wear slower than fronts but I was in a hurry and told them I would keep in mind. Today I brought my car into dealership for oil service and asked they inspect all the brakes. Turns out they are fine, plenty of pad left on fronts and rears. I find this very unprofessional and poor business practices by an old trusted company. No more, and to all others, BEWARE. Just a follow up, the front brakes had 7 mil and the rears 6 mil left. This was either a review from a totally inept service tech or a scam to get me to spend money for work that wasn’t required, I will share this experience with all my fellow contractors and suppliers, I’m really hoping the management will instruct their workers to be honest and upfront with future customers, there is enough crooked business practices in auto service from small garages without the large companies following suit.

Quick service and knowledgeable staff - has a serious tire problem (not from them) and they did the needed fix right away.
We always count on them to make it good, with full explanations.

Got me in for a morning appointment quickly, which I appreciate. Solved and fixed my steering problem instantly. Unfortunately, they couldn't diagnose my A/C problem at the time. I solved it myself a few hours later. Vacuum leak. Apparently common with Fords. Great staff. Friendly, knowledgeable. Waiting area is nice. I give 4 1/2 star.

CONSUMERS BEWARE! Went in for tire swap then told car needed an Alignment. I asked how they determined that and was provided a report generated by the technician following an "adjustment" that took mere minutes - was charged $135 and conveyed results didn't conform to specifications? I decided to contact store manager for clarification; was told they couldn't account for the results and offered a refund if I returned to store. Upon my return they produced what was a completely different report with DIFFERENT (still not within specs) RESULTS FOR THE ALIGNMENT and REFUSED the OFFERED REFUND! Fed up I took both reports, posted this review THEN management called to say they would provide refund. Regardless of refund, unacceptable business practices and customer service, won't be returning.

Worst experience at a tire shop ever.brought in a punctured tire and tried to speak to one of the front counter staff in the parking lot and was all but ignored. Then another finally came to look at the tire but said he didn’t know and it would take two hours before someone could look at it.so that would have been 10am. I called at 12 and was told they would call at 1pm.still nothing called back at 5 and someone in a call centre told me the tire had been looked at and wasn’t repairable. But it took a “tire shop”, at least three employees and an entire day to get there. I now need to buy four new tires. I live around the corner from this store but will go out of my way to buy my tires elsewhere.

In regard to response from owner below …. This only further clarified their lack of interest in their customers. My review had nothing to do with them not being able to repair the tire.it was that they took an entire day to figure that out and never once bothered to call me back, their employees are sales and not customer focussed. I as customer was not important enough to them.or their management apparently!

Thought I would try and go back to this location to see if they have gotten any better since the last time I went - they have not. I went in for a patch on my leaking tire and they tried to upsell me on getting new brake pads for my rear wheels when I had them replaced last year. When I told them I just had them done, they still tried to get me to do it. Took the car to my mechanic after to double check the brakes were good and he said they were totally fine and agreed they were just trying to get some more money out of me. Do not recommend wasting your time here even if it’s the most convenient location for you.

Came in today to purchase 2 new tires due to one being flat and another was slowly leaking air. The young front desk attendant recommended I replace all 4 because my vehicle was AWD. He told me I had no tread left on the other two tires. This was not true at all. I asked him to please stop upselling me and I would only like two new tires. He then said he was not trying to upsell me and then once agaon recommended I replace all 4 tires.

I then left stating I was going to OK Tire. I had a professional experience at OK Tire and I will no longer be returning to Kal Tire for my tire needs.

Very poor customer service.

Terrible service.
Owner was beyond ignorant.
If they weren’t the ONLY local choice I wouldn’t have went and I still regret it.

Let’s also mention the owner and their illegal union busting and all the other ethical breaches I heard from staff just in the time I was there.

Sounds like the owner is legitimately a crook.

But hey, who’s surprised about that….

I'm going to start off by saying that I love Kal-Tire and have bought more than 20 sets of tires in the past 30 years from them. The local courteous service, lifetime flat repairs, etc.is what keeps me coming back.

However, this location is not service friendly at all. I have had them turn me away for flat repairs of their own tires because it was late in the day and have them recommend me go to a competitor. I also found the staff so rude that for the last set of tires I actually went to Kal-Tire in Cloverdale. They were amazing at that location.

Fast forward to June 19,2023. I decided to give this store another chance for my brand new 2023 car due to the close convenience to my house. I ordered the tires, they matched the price to my car dealer and I dropped the car off. I asked for the Kal-Tire branded tire tote covers for the tires being removed from the car since the factory tires only had 126 km on them and I planned on keeping the tires. They added the totes to the bill and I asked if they could discount the tote covers since I was buying a full set of tires. They said they would ask the manager while I was gone. They also suggested that I get a wheel alignment after one month with my new tires. I said, "Are you kidding me? Why would I do a wheel alignment on a brand new car from the factory? " This is clearly inexperienced staff who don't understand customer needs.

I left the car and returned in about 90 minutes to pick up my car. I went straight to my car and there were 4 tires in dirty plastic bags in my back seat. I was not happy. They decided that since they couldn't discount the totes they would just put the tires in bags and stick them in the back seat of my brand new car in bags. Then when I went inside they asked me if I still wanted to buy the totes. Needless to say I was upset. The staff at this location doesn't understand customer service, they didn't do what I asked to have the tires put into totes. I planned on picking up the tires with another vehicle and not put dirty tires in my new car.

I will never come to this store again. Three strikes and you're out. Kal-Tire will get my business, just not from here! I will happily drive to Cloverdale Kal-Tire.

I would highly recommend this company, they are very professional and reasonably priced compared to Mr lube across the way.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service. They wouldn’t change my winter tires over and I will never be coming back. Don’t go here.

Never again! 3 wheel alignments in 2 days. Could have done very very serious damage to our car. Manager never came out to see the car nothing when he was told about the problem.

The first one you couldn't even move the steering wheel. When we were turning corners the steering wheel would not come back into place normally like it should, and pulling severely to the right. We looked at the car and moved the steering wheel back and forth parked. The front wheels were making crunching noise.

2nd time steering was better, but the car was all over the road.

3d time still not the best. Never once did the Manger Larry come to check in nothing. Plus no test drive from the technician to make sure it was done right.

Left him a message to call never did. He was there but just didn't care. The only person we felt did care was Ryan at the front desk. So thank you Ryan for caring about your customers!

Made a big deal about putting air into a small tire. I get it needs to be checked out thoroughly before adding air. But come on. Like seriously

The team at this location is spectacular! I am not a 'car person', and often feel overwhelmed /unfamiliar with the maintenance. The team at this Kal Tire is patient, kind, and very helpful. Lots of flexible booking. They are friendly to my dog. I had my breaks replaced and when I noticed a strange noise, they quickly RE replaced my breaks with higher quality parts. I am so happy with my service here, and will continue to choose Kal Tire over my previous car dealership!

Overall, employees and management are doing great job, in my opinion, excpecially Ryan (currently not in this location).
Some small mistakes occur like everywhere, but it's okay, if I am doing my part too.
Over the three year experience, I have noticed that different employees had offered different solutions for the same issues.
Honesty is cornerstone foundation of auto business, and hopefully, Kaltire will keep it to the highest standards. Thank you for your business.

Came here to get my car worked on and Ryan Bee was helping me. He was super helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Thank you for making my experience so good!

Got my new shoes on my truck, within an hour and a half of giving them a phone call. Place was clean and professional. They also took my junk tires away.

Fixed my tires for free because I bought them here. Ryan Bee was great to us, with great service, kind and friendly. Will continue to go back to this location.

My tire kept going low so I called in to see if I could get it looked at. I was told they had availability at 2pm. Once I arrived I was assisted by Ryan who was awesome, professional and helpful. Even took the time to explain to me how the plug works.
Will definitely be back for all my tire needs
