Kal Tire

They are having issues with their online appointment program. It does not seem like their program takes the info and keeps track of it, it gets lost or someone is not doing their job. A lot of people have had this trouble.

Devin and Darryl are wonderful and really helped me out after I blew my tire on the Barkerville-Likely road.

Stepped outside to find a flat tire on my car - I called and they said they could fit me in as soon as I could get there. Friendly, professional, and great pricing. Thank you!

Came in end of day in a panic and pulled off the highway right into this shop. The staff rushed out to help me and got my car in the moment we talked. Nikki is AMAZING and friendly as so is all of the staff working on my car as I sit here writing this. I was extremely over quoted everywhere else and treated great here with exactly what I needed and more. Above and beyond.

They used to be a tire shop, but now it’s kinda just a joke. First, to get your tires on rims put on it’ll cost you more than if you needed them mounted and balanced (tried to charge me $280) AND we’ve come to discover they aren’t balanced properly, second they told me my brakes needed to be done IMMEDIATELY, I went to another mechanic who said I have at least 2 seasons left. ALSO they told me I don’t need to retorch my tires because they just over-torched. They definitely did need to be retorched. Torch your tires afterward EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU IT’S UNNECESSARY!
Just go to Tireland; they actually know their stuff and you won’t be charged an arm and a leg.

If I could give no stars I would. Husband went in for a simple pressure check, front counter gentleman was great! The manager on the other hand did not greet my husband but rudely asked what he wanted. I will not be returning to the quesnel location due to the lack of compassion and customer service skills of the management

Terribly disappointed in how they just treated my fiance who was coming thru town from willimas lake and stopped in for a retorque and was simply told if you didn't get the tires installed here we won't touch them even after she said I had to tighten the wheel cause it was loose needless to say she went across the street to fountain tire and they were much more helpful

If I could give this shop a zero I would. I suggest going elsewhere with your business and not use Kaltire. My husband brought my tires to this shop to be balanced they told him they would try to fit him in, he was going to pick them up after they called from outside. They never called us to tell us they were done so we never went to pick them up. He went on the next business day and no one can find my tires. $1700 for tires and rims and this shop just says they can’t do anything or can’t find them and not their problem Absolute garbage of a business. We were told that the “front lady just forgets to call people” so I have to drive a half hour to figure out if my tires are finished because you have they don’t answer their phone.

The BEST! Traveling thru to PG with several boxes frozen meat in back of truck when wheel bearing went. Big panic. Called and talked to Nicky, who calmed us down, had the part in 20 mins and with their very accommodating staff, on the road in under 2hrs. We couldn't be more thankful. Thank you again, all of you

My wife and I have been customers with Kal Tire for many years and this past experience might have been the last straw.

This is not the first time we have had problems with the Quesnel location and will most likely not be the last if we decide to do business again there.

I understand that Kal Tire has developed a new retorque program and am wondering why it's such a big deal to retorque a customer's tires when they request a retorque.

My wife went to the store to get her tires retorqued and the staff would not retorque her tires. This is extremely disappointing and frustrating.

How can we be assured that the staff who changed our tires remembered to retorque her tires? We have had experiences where the staff forgot to put our tires back in our vehicles, forgot to put the caps on our valve stems and even failed to put hub centric rings on new rims that we bought from Kal Tire.

Now, we will be forced to go somewhere else to get a retorque. Program or not, our car tires should have been retorqued upon request without hesitation to ensure we feel safe doing business with Kal Tire

Quality of service has been on a decline over the last couple of years. We have voiced our concern and some of our needs have been met.

We have had numerous issues with this store. We have been customers here for over ten years and are considering taking our business elsewhere. The services and products have been very disappointing lately. The cost of changing seasonal tires has risen substantially over the years and the service has gotten worse. I'm not sure what to suggest to help this store improve it's ratings in our books.

Great service from start to finish. Had the winter tires I needed in stock and switched over in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Still one of the better tire shops in town. The guys in the back changing tires are awesome.it was the counter guy that brought the rating down a star.
