Jasmine is outstanding! She's pulled my wife, and I out of a few situations. Excellent service everytime

One of the best experiences I've had at a mechanic shop thanks to Jasmine! I was driving through town on my way to Sicamous from the coast for a weekend vacation when my car started making a weird noise. Luckily, this Kal Tire was around the corner. 30 minutes before closing, they squeezed me in to do a quick check and noticed my brakes were the culprit! Our friends we were vacationing with came to pick us and our stuff up while Kal Tire kept my car over the weekend. We had no way to pick up my car again during business hours as we were going to be on a houseboat all weekend. Jasmine saved the day though! She took time out of her Saturday to pop by the shop & grab my keys then came by again on Sunday so I could take my car home. Absolutely amazing service. I was blown away by her kindness. My daughter (22yrs old) was travelling through and took her van in for an oil change I got her to get them to look at the front end as she said it was making noise and she was headed north to Alaska in a couple weeks. They said her rack and pinion was faulty and needed replacing I think the quote was $1500 give or take $100 they also said one of her front wheel hub bearings were noisy and that should be replaced. $600 give or take $50 i told her to get a second opinion as we had the van looked at before she left home. It has a lot of km but all was good. I flew out there the week later and the steering fluid was empty put some in from CT and all good got the van checked out in Kelowna and all it needed was power steering hose (very small leak) and tie rod end. Is it incompetents or malicious either way not impressed.
At the least put some fluid in it!
All I will say is be aware lots of places like to change parts on you and charge you for repairs that are not needed.

The staff at Kaltire in Salmon arm was amazing today. The my totally went above and beyond to meet our needs and it made a huge difference for our family today. We absolutely couldn’t be more thankful. Mark and Christian were amazing, kind, thorough and helped us get on our way as we were driving through town on holiday, and Had found ourselves in a dire situation. We are very thankful because they didn’t need to help us as much as they did but they were just so kind. Thank you

Jasmine! What an amazingly friendly, kind and helpful employee. She checked me in, checked my tires to see whether an alignment or new tires were needed, ran down the street to get the correct key for my car and had the alignment done in 1/2 hour. This group of employees are a well oiled machine.

They rip you off if you take a loose tire in for flat repair. They charge the same as though it was on the car. They say it is to incourage you to have them do it and inspect the car and try to get more money/work out of you.

I always am very impressed and satisfied with the prompt, friendly and expert service the staff provide every time I need it.thank you very much.you guys are the best!

Had a flat tire on our motorhome, on Friday at 4: 00 before the long weekend. Found out in the Canadian tire parking lot. Canadian tire did not have time to put our spare on. Kal down the road sorted is out on no notice and got us back on our adventure by closing time and only charged us 17 bucks! We Forgot our step there but not their fault. Thank you kal tire, please let the advisors and the the tire tech know we greatly appreciate their level of customer service!

Brought in a flat tire that I had purchased 2 years ago from Kal Tire. Poor and delayed service. Ended up leaving and going to another shop with immediate service. Will probably buy my next tire set elsewhere.

Wife went for plug for a screw, no point in having an appointment. Not even close to the right time. Plugged the tire and proceeded to over inflate all of her tires. 10 psi past recommended, 5 psi away from max pressure. Good job guys.

We brought our 1991 Mitsubishi Delica in for a pre purchase inspection. We couldn’t have been more happier with the inspection, Al helped us feel way more comfortable purchasing this vehicle and helped us understand what we would needed to fix, to make it safe to drive. We left feeling really thankful for his help!

Chris is the man. Thanks for the professionalism. He showed me the tires options so that we could make our decision. The workers are super friendly. When we came to pick up our vehicle, one of the mechanics ran over the help us with the doors so that we could easily get our 2 strollers into the lobby.

Our class A motorhome suffered a tire blowout. We need to get our 4 tires in the rare changed. We called them almost at the closing time. They were able to schedule us in first thing next morning. Overall very pleasant experience. The price is great. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Technician just threw my spare tire tools under the front passenger seat instead of putting them in the holder. He wasn’t in a good mood and didn’t want to communicate with me at all. He knew I was watching but did it anyway.
He could of asked me if I minded putting them away after.

After leaving this review, the manager Chris called me and apologized for the experience and said he’d chat with the employee. He wanted me to know they take their customer service serious and asked me to drop in again to meet in person.

1.25 hours for an oil change and they wanted to charge over $200. Other shops in town take 15 minutes and charge $145 for my Turbo Diesel!

Our family has been visiting Kal Tire for all of our wheel and tire needs since we moved here a few years ago and they have been just awesome to work with. They found fancy custom tires for my husband's show car, they found and fixed a problem that the ICBC repair shop missed on my 4x4, and they got my mom's SUV in right away when it needed a wheel balance. The folks at Kal are reliable and professional every time.

Every experience I have had at Kal Tire has been top notch. Not only have they put new tires on my daily drivers, but they have also taken great care and precaution when installing tires for my custom vehicle projects. I have trusted them with wheel packages worth thousands of dollars and they go above and beyond to make sure that everything is safe, secure, and taken care of. They have also helped us mechanically on a number of occasions.
