Kal Tire

I can't say enough good things about Kal Tire in Hope. The staff are friendly & accommodating, and their services are quick & thorough. During a winter storm, both of my vehicles were having issues, and within 4 hours Kal Tire had one repaired, and the other being serviced. Great people, excellent service, reasonable & transparent pricing - I would definitely recommend Hope Kal Tire.

My friend and I got a flat tire on the Coquihalla Hwy, we called Kal Tire in Hope 15 mins before they were closing to see if they could repair our flat. A few of the employees stayed late and they went above and beyond for us. Great service, and kind people! Would go back if I lived in the area.

Fast, efficient friendly service in a pinch! The right tires were in stock. The team at Kal Tire truly went the extra mile for me to accommodate getting me back on the road, conveniently and safely. The better tread on my new tires from the flat and the old ones I had on before, is significantly better in the snow. As a local, out of town, I would definitely return as a customer and recommend their shop.

I gave them 2 stars as the service I received in the actual shop was fantastic. They were my go to and I purchased, installed seasonally and stored tires there but will now never use that location again after the run around I just received. The issue I had was that I requested my winter tires be shipped from their location to another, as per their recommendation. I requested them to be shipped and was quoted 3-5 business days; I understood that the distance of shipping was far so expected 5 business days. I called 4 x over a three week period after they were “shipped” to get updates and requested a tracking number and each time I got a different excuse. First two calls I was told it takes time and to follow up with the receiving location for their where abouts, the receiving location indicated that only the Hope location could provide tracking numbers. The third call I was told we are too busy today, we will look into where they are and call you back but they did not. Fourth call I was told we will get the tracking number and email it to you, they did not. Fifth call I asked and was told they would look into it and at this time it had been 4 weeks, I said I was upset and said if they are lost at what point do I receive new tires as I cannot wait any longer; they called me back 1.5 hours later and admitted they had never been shipped. If they had of just looked into my tires when I inquired previously then they would have been able to identify this prior, but they did not appear to care about my calls nor did they apologize for any inconvenience. The inconvenience is that I have not been able to travel for work without winter tires so I lost income over this. The lack of communication and willingness to help was very frustrating. I will never use this location again and warn others not to store and ship tires here as their system and willingness to follow up is lacking.

I have always gotten great service here. As with so many places there are supply chain issues from time to time. When it happened with me they worked really hard to accommodate me and get me what I needed by the deadline I needed.

Terrible service my car broke and it was parked there for two week and then the looked the car and said it’s going to cost $2500-3000 to fix it and it will take 10 days more I got it fixed in Abbsford and it was a 30 minutes job that cost me $200 not 8hours as I was told by the lady working there if you want to waste your money and time it’s a place for you.

They are the best. Fit us in right away. Four new tires and a balance on the front tires. We were back on our way for our trip across Canada in no time. Thanks again. Appreciate you getting us in on Friday before the long weekend and understaffed.
