Had to replace brake pads on the fly while on a long road trip. It happened to be during the busiest time of year for changing tires for winter. I called ahead and they squeezed me in for the following day which was a miracle. Very thankful to be able to continue my journey. Good service.

No air available at tire shop. Wow is this some new thing to get you to come inside to sell me something. I have brand new tires and from out of town. They remove the air nozzle. 3 times I been by here and couldn't get a simple air up. No fun people to make someone wait in line for use of air hose outside. Brutal

They have repaired any tire I bought from them absolutely free, and are so friendly and efficient. Absolutely exceptional service.

Considering how cold it was, and the airlines had frozen, the staff did an excellent job installing my new tires and wheels.

I came here on a long weekend with a destroyed tire, and in less then 2 hours got 4 new tires and an alignment for a very good price without an appointment. They were so professional and very friendly.

Took me in last min before a big trip. Amazing customer service. What a great team of people working there, informative, helpful, and really helped to save some money where I could. I feel so much safer being on the road once they looked after my car.

Had a very disappointing experience.

My boyfriend booked an appt for Saturday morning a week and a half ahead of time.
Dropped off car at 10am as asked, and were told they would have the car for 2-3 hours.

We came back 3 and a half hours later and the car was still in the lot.
After a discussion with sales staff, we were made to feel like we were mistaken and had actually booked a PM appt.

They offered to make room in a bay for his car at that point, but we had other commitments.

It wasn't a huge loss, but this negative review is more a reflection how the manager made us feel as if we were mistaken and had unreasonable expectations, when it was communicated clearly in both the initial phone call and when we dropped off the car that they wanted it for 10am and that they would have it somewhere between 2-3 hours, rather than 4-4.5 if we had been able to stay to complete the service.

I was in Vernon heading back to Kelowna. I had a bolt stuck in my tire and was worried about the drive home. The Kal Tire Vernon team fit me in right away without an appointment and got me on my way in an hour! Great service.

Always a pleasure to deal with Kal Tire. Been doing business with them for well over a decade.

Great job installing new tires. Can not understand why spare tire pressure not checked. They specialize in tire care. My spare was 30 pounds low. Could do this for 1 more star. Or for the benefit and safety of the customer. I will go back.

I've been going to Kal Tire in my local area for years. I was recently in Vernon and had some tire troubles and needed some assistance which the staff happily and promptly provided me. The Vernon team was very helpful and friendly, they helped me pick a set of tires that was perfect for me and was able to book me for an appointment that same week to get them on my vehicle. Amazing service!

Took care of my needs. They claim they where book but a few technician looking for something to do. The front service dept was busy.

Stopped in at this location 9: 30am today to have loose tires mounted on new rims.

Lacking an appointment, I asked the counter person if there was time to do them.

I was told "We can do that, can you leave them with us for a bit? "

1: 30pm I called to see if there was an update. "They will be done when they are done and you will get a text message. "

4: 45pm, just before their closing time I drive back to the location.

After 7+ hours of no time frame and a brushoff phone response, I was prepared to take my stuff back and write off a wasted day.

Instead I get told three frustrating things:
1. The job was already complete. No one could say when.
2. I should have already received a message. No one could say why I didn't.
3. The counter person claimed "I told you when you dropped them off we were full on appointments all day and I would squeeze them in when we got the chance. "

If he had actually told me that, I would have said "no thanks" and gone to any other tire store. I had plans this afternoon that required me to leave Vernon by 2: 30pm. If they were really that busy, I wish they could have just been honest and up front with me.

Instead I got the privilege of wasting my entire day and cancelling/altering all of my plans.

If you want something better than time quotes of "leave it with us a bit" or "it'll be done when its done" go anywhere else. I'm sad to say this is what I've come to expect from Kal-Tire.

Always a great experience, at Kal Tire. Often they provide service beyond my hopes or expectations. I have been taking my vehicles here for over 15 years, and have always been beyond satisfied with their service.

Would really help if you actually contacted people when there vehicle was done instead of stranding them for the night and morning if it was actually finished who knows it was supposed to be done in a hour and a half to change summers to winters probably didn't even do it didnt contact and left my wife stranded nice job kal tire Anderson way! Worst part they have done this before to her and she went back again.

Stopped in with a flat tire this morning on our way to an out of town appointment. They were able to get the tire fixed quickly in time for us to make our appointment. Service was very friendly and professional. In the past our experience with Kal Tire has been great and this was no exception.

Though we had an issue day of service, the manager Justin, went above and beyond to make sure it was resolved.

Kal tire is a very expensive place to take your car had to replace one rim and the price is higher then anyone in vernon

My vehicle is still there after 4 days. Today it was supposedly done which came as a suprise to me because they where suppose to call me after they checked my front end. When I called the store the employee told me that this time of year unfortunately things get overlooked. Well I've been without a vehicle for 4 days and now you tell me that the problem hasn't been addressed.
Very dissapointed to say the least. I've always been a loyal supporter of Kal Tire.
I may need to consider trying someone else.

Showed up the first time and dropped my vehicle off and 45 mins later waiting in the lobby they told me my tires didn’t show up

Came back the 2nd time and was told it’s no more than an hour wait, but of course 2 hours later still waiting

Great service, before, during and after we have purchased our tires. Usually there is also coffee and popcorn, but thanks to Covid 19 that has been suspended.

ISSUES RESOLVED: Spoke to Justin (the store manager) and he has gone above and beyond to rectify this issue. He did some detective work to track down my fathers number and reached out to us. He then refunded not only the cost of the tire but the all the work they did. This level of customer service was greatly appreciated and we will continue to be customers of theirs. Just goes to show that good companies will do their best to make their customers happy. Thank you very much!

ORIGINAL POST: Would not recommend this shop. They destroyed one of our new trailer tires (that we purchased elsewhere) which led to them selling us another tire at double the cost. When we took the damaged tire to the shop we bought it from the owner then called Kal Tire. The technician (from Kal Tire) then ADMITTED TO RUINING THE TYRE but they refused to do anything to rectify the issue. 100% unexceptionable and we will not be using them again.

Six hours for a brake service but they polished my tires for me and vacuumed my embarrassingly unclean vehicle. Brake service helped the issue. Above and beyond service.

Corrected pressures on my tires that I bought at Kal Tire Prince George. No charge, fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!

I brought my daughter in law's Touareg in to have a wheel alignment done. When I went to pick up the vehicle the fob battery had died and we couldn't get the car to open. I was on a huge time constraint because I was picking my granddaughter up from kindergarten.

Justin said his staff would get me a battery. He loaned me a car seat (because hers was locked in the car) and got me to my granddaughters school on time and back to Kal Tire where another one of his technicians had changed to battery for me and had everything ready to go.

Great service. Had 1 slow leak and a flat tire that I found while leaving for home from shopping. Fit me in with very little delay.

This team is herioc save day today - i rolled in with a slow leak i thought and we found a speared & ruined tire.i am in an in between time and thought i was in trouble - they found me a tire and got me on my way safely and like hero's - saving me from being trapped on the side of the road

I wouldn’t buy my tires anywhere else, but I am a person who researched my tires. They are helpful for people who don’t research tires and they will put you into quality tires

Absolutely the slowest service of all of the kaltires, had a appointment at 8 am, was told it would be 4 hours, and it's now 11 am and they still have not started. What a joke. You would get faster service if you go to enderby or kelowna. Unbelievable

Had an issue and it was addressed promptly and professionally. Definitely recommend as they listen to their customers concerns

Came in for flat repair, ended up leaving with a brand new tire covered by warranty (originals bought at Kal). Took less then 45 minutes. Chris is a champ!

I would definitely recommend a small mechanic business in town rather than a monopoly that hires kids and inexperienced mechanics to do the work on the vehicle that you rely on. Plus this way, you won't have to pay for that big Kal tire building they mark all their merchandise up to pay for. And gauranteed you'll be better respected, I'd bet on that!

They are efficient; if you don't have an appointment to swap tires, you can drop the vehicle off before 0730, chances are it'll get done before the end of the day. My experience with tire purchase from them has been that they will upsell, so shop around.

Was in a pinch only shop in Vernon that squeezed me in and installed the new shocks I had bought from another company. Fast service, friendly staff. Nothing to complain about!

Exceptional service! I needed to have my nokian tires inspected for warranty. Terry for Kal tire checked them out and gave them a thumbs up - turns out there was some minor weather wear on the sides and they still have about 30k left. Glad to be getting full use of my tires and not tossing them before they're fully worn. Would definitely go back for tires and service.

Was in here the other week, and both the advisor at their head tech were completely clueless. They've displayed such utter incompetence about the most basic automotive questions & requests that these fools shouldn't be allowed near a horse & carriage, much less modern vehicles.

They tried to force my mother to buy new tires when she didn't need them
She took it elsewhere and it was fixed and still using all the sane tires.

SHISTERS! Asked for a tire change. They added an alignment with out asking. I guess a tire change costs $200 at Kal tire these days.

Just purchased 4 new Sumitomo HTR A/S for my Kia Soul - great tires, nice "quiet" ride:) Service was fast, efficient and awesome as usual. Great group of guys there!

I had a low tire pressure indicator come on today. I pulled into this location and the gentleman behind the counter took care of the van right away! He topped up all tires and checked the tire pressure sensor. So helpful and very friendly! All for no charge!
