Kal Tire

The staff went out of their way today to help me get my tire fixed same day when an errant carpentry screw took it out last night (on my birthday!). I was very impressed by their professionalism and how they looked at all the options for me. I am so grateful. Would 100% recommend, and will buy my next tires here.

Went to Kal Tire for drooping off a battery for recycling a couple weeks ago. Although it is listed in the Kal Tire's website as well as within the CBA as a recycling depot for automotive batteries, the front desk person was rude with me and refused to accept it.

Jordan is a rockstar! I found myself with a flat tire earlier today while heading into work. Jordan managed to get me in for an emergency repair and made sure I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. Truly amazing customer service! Thanks Jordan!

I drove my car with 3 screws in front and back tire, they fixed it right away! Service was great and very friendly.

Worst experience of my life at a tire shop.
Not only the customer service that is so BAD that I'd rate it zero or below if I could, but the work you did is subpar.

Leaving my vehicle undriveable and stealing my property from the car (that I was barely able to recover) was the last slap on my face. After all these I don't even want to mention the sticky steering wheel that you were too ignorant to clean.

I'd like to find a way to warn people to avoid this business at all cost.
Just go to a local business that actually cares about the client.

Could not be more disappointed. Beware & avoid. They claim a runflat tire can’t be repaired (not true at all) and even worse my parents bought new all weather tires from them 9 years ago and claim the tires are too old to do a slow leak repair and would be unsafe. With less than 10,000 kms on the tires. What? !? Integra Tire (who are amazing) even fixed the slow leak for free. I will never go back or recommend Kal Tire. You scammed my elderly parents out of so much money. And you attempted to fixe their Toyota Avalon years ago and failed, charged them over $600 and then sent them to Toyota for the repair. When you can’t fix something you should have admitted your mistake and sent them to Toyota at NO CHARGE. Absolute scammers. Save your time and money and go to Integra Tire or Costco. I prefer Integra Tire though as they are amazing.

Writing my review as I sit and wait an hour past the quoted timeline during the SECOND appointment I've had here for tires, since they couldn't do the tires during the first appointment. Not sure why they book appointments they cannot honour but the service here is absolutely pathetic. When I complained about the delay and broken promises the customer service agent called me "passive aggressive", not sure if he's simply rude because I'm a woman or if he treats everyone poorly but I would recommend any other tire shop, thb.

I made an appointment for an oil change, alignment and tire rotation. When I arrived at the location, I was told I didn't have an appointment. Further, they said that if I had made an appointment at another location or for a different date, it would still show up on their system. After a long back and forth, one of the employees remembered that they had deleted my appointment the previous night - for reasons they never explained.

Without any apologies, they went ahead with the work. Or so I thought.

After an hour and a half they called my name, told me they couldn't do some of the work because of a wheel lock and handed me an invoice - calling it a day. They said they've had ask if there was any wheel lock when I checked in, and that I had said there was none. I was sitting literally in front of these people of 90 minutes, but at no point they came to me after finding the wheel lock to figure it out (it was in the glove compartment). So beyond a communications error, there was simply no interest in providing the services, right from the beginning.

Deleting an appointment could be passed as human error, but the entire experience goes to show the personnel didn't care about the customer. They had multiple opportunities to make this work, but Kal Tire simply didn't care.

Thank you: Kal Tire. Before I went to Kal Tire I went to two other tire shops and I told them my tire was loosing air I had to take my wife to the Cancer Clinic for 2pm. They both told me I would have to leave my SUV over night and they would look at it the next day.
Kal Tire on Millstream Rd came out and checked my tire and it had a screw in it. They took my SUV in right away and fixed the tire. They told me because of your situation there is no charge to you. Now this is a tire shop that is well run and clean and well organized. The staff are very professional and kind. If you are looking for an excellent place to do your tire shopping head down to Kal Tire and the boys will take care of you promptly. Thanks Bill and Lynne

Dropped off my truck when the shop opened for an alignment.

Was charged for an alignment and another $70 for the extra labour it took to unstick my tie rods. “They were being difficult”. But the tech was still able to pull it off I was assured…

Was then given a quote for $1000+ to replace all 4 tie rods and was denied another alignment until I had so done.

Take the truck for a drive down the highway for the first time and it was way off on the alignment! Hard pulling left.

Take the truck back to have it aligned again only to have it pull to the right now. I took it to a different shop to fix the new problems I have.

I should have been asked first before the extra effort was put it. After a couple experiences here I’d say it’s not worth the cost. And no I will not give my details to contact management.

Even though they were super busy, the manger promised to Squeeze me in to fix my tire and they stayed longer then they had to and fixed my tire

I highly recommend them, they are amazing!

Got new 35” tires installed on my 22 Gmc Sierra 3500HD, excellent service and customer service, would recommend. The only issue was how long it took, the whole process took 2.5 hours and I have to go back for the wheel alignment. Other than that it was 10/10

Had a horrible experience with Kal Tire when trying to get an out-of-province inspection. They made me take my vehicle to a third-party rust place, who lied indicating I had severe rust/safety issues that would cost $3000.00 to fix. Kal Tire charged me $300.00 and never gave me the out-of-province certification. Varied with my personal mechanic that the rust was superficial and NOT a safety concern. Never again.

MY COUSIN TOOK HIS TRUCK THERE FOR REPAIRS. IT HAD A LEAK DAYS LATER. BROT IT BACK AND THEY TRIED TO UP SELL HIM $1500 W 4 NEW RIMS? DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE CLOWNS. ALSO. POOR SERVICE AT DESK. MAKE YOU WAIT FOREVER. NOT IMPRESSED.

Good bunch of guys and girls who know what they are doing, car enthusiasts for sure! I recommend these guys. The mounted my wheels and tires. Did a 10/10 job.

Gave advice on my tires and 1 couldnt be put back on so they let me borrow van to go home and get my summer tires and they put all the summer tires on

Went in for a patch and was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I made an appointment and sat and watched. I could see the guy doing the patch was having trouble so it was more than a minor job taking 10 minutes. It took the better part of an hour. Ready to expect a huge bill I was shocked when they gave me a deep discount. I am extremely grateful and will certainly return. Well done Kal tire, your seemingly small gesture has made a huge impression on me. Professional, well run operation with that mom and pop small business attention to customer service. Thank you.

Drove in with a burst tire and a dead spare, i was in a sour mood but the manager Jamie was calm and explained why my tires where un-repairable (not the best news). Jamie then proceeded to give me some options and found me the new tire i needed but unfortunately it was at a different shop so he called the other shop and we worked out that i'd leave the car take the empty rim get them to mount and balance the new tire there and bring it back to install the next day. Jamie even stayed late working this out with me and made sure i wasn't stranded for the evening (what a great guy). The next day i got the tire, brought it back and even though they where busy they managed to squeeze me in to install the tire pretty darn quickly. I am beyond thankful the whole crew is amazing from the techs that installed it to the manager making it happen Thanks again. 5 BIG stars

I got a flat right before Christmas /my expected due date. Even though they were super busy, Penny and the staff helped repair my tire same - day so that I have a reliable vehicle to get to the hospital.

I blew a tire on my way to Victoria. I ended up at Kal Millstream with no appointment. The Duncan Kal called ahead to be sure they had a tire for me. They had my car done by closing time, and they were fully booked. Outstanding Service

When I blew a tire on my boat trailer and had to catch a ferry, the staff at Langford Kal Tire had me on the road in 15mins! They also had the exact replacement for my original tires!

I had a great experience! I showed up needing my brake light fixed and they were so kind to fit me in on such short notice and they were quick and efficient as well!

Terrible, unfortunatly only inexperienced guys work here.after diagnostics here we decided to get a second opinion.and the problem was with a completely different part of the car. And we fixed it, but not with kal tire.

I was very happy that the crew at Kal Tire were able to repair the screw in my tire late on a Saturday afternoon. Called at 2: 30 pm and they were all booked with a couple of drop-off, first come first serve appointments on standby already. Jamie said to bring it in and they'd try there best to make the repair before end of day. Returned to their shop shortly before 5 pm to see my truck on the hoist and a technician tightening up my wheel nuts. Great Service, thanks guys!

I have taken two vehicles there in the past two weeks. First was for a tire rotation and alignment check. They identified a problem I believed was there and worked with my schedule to repair it the same day for, what I thought was a very reasonable cost. My second visit was for a new set of tires for another vehicle, with some decisions over size and make and use of tires, the advice and consideration of my needs was first class and again good value and prompt service. I was appreciative of the text message to confirm my appointment and when my vehicles were ready. Friendly staff as well.

Had an appointment for 10am
. They didn’t start the tire change until 11am. Why an appointment if they won’t honour it. Staff is also not the greatest. Don’t spend your money here.

Bought tires & wheels from these guys several years ago. Was very happy with the service. Returned for a new set of tires. Ran into a few minor hiccups but they sorted everything out to my satisfaction. Excellent customer service.

Took my vehicle in on New Year's Eve at 11am said it would be 2 hours.

The guys at Millstream Kal Tire. Broke my hub caps when working in my vehicle. While the Vehicle now drives straight I’m left with a terrible experience and will not be back.

Perfect service thanks a lot guys. Great communication and got the work done as promised and on time would deal with any time.

First visit: They had a promotion going for FREE alignment check. I knew the car had a mild alignment issue so made an appointment for the check. Upon returning to pick up the car I'm told the mechanic went ahead and performed the alignment service, without calling me to ask for go ahead. A free check turned into a $100+ unexpected charge. After negotiation, they reduced the fee but would not let it go for free even though I didn't give them permission to perform the work

Second visit a year or so later (gave them a second chance, figured it could have been a genuine mis-communication) : Different car, recently bought. Took it in to them for an alignment again. This time I drop the car off giving approval to perform the alignment but requesting time be spent to get the alignment as straight as possible. Mentioned I was planning to take the car to a local track day and wanting the alignment to be as straight as possible for performance driving reasons. Come back to pick up the car. The mechanic shows me the alignment report which is a print out of the measurements the machine makes. The alignment shows as perfect, as in 0.0 degrees on all 4 wheels. I left happy thinking it was great service. I go to the track day, check my tire pressures before heading out on the circuit and find out that the mechanic just adjusted the pressures of the tires to make the car drive straight. Left wheel was something like 40 psi while right wheel was around 28 psi. Once I balanced the pressures to the recommended 32 psi at all 4 corners, the steering is no longer straight. Car still pulled slightly to one side like it did before I took the car in. Seems like they charged me the alignment fee just to adjust tire pressures.

After sleeping on these experiences for a while, I will now say I will not be going back to that shop again and will tell others to avoid it as well.

This location came through in the clutch for me. Couldn't recommend them more. When a nearby shop was unable to mount my tires for me, these guys fit my truck into their booked schedule so I could get back on the road and back to work sooner. Special thanks to Doug. I'll be going to this Kal Tire again!

These guys are superb.
If you can't get an appointment and need it down by the end of the day you could always drop off your rims tires etc.
They usually can squeeze the job in by the end of the day.

The crew here knocked it out of the park. I dropped my truck off for an oil change, and asked them to give it a good once over as I’ve got an out of town business trip to go on next week. They did find some issues in the front end and the brake system. They knew I had a tight deadline and and rushed parts in and got it all taken care of with lots of time to spare. Doug at the front called me regularly with updates. Great customer service and they will be my first stop going forward for my work vehicle and personal vehicles.

Had to replace a couple of tires on my vehicle - from the time that I made the initial call, speaking with Cody, on a Tuesday they ordered my tires in, had my appointment booked for the Saturday. I was quoted an hour for install but it was done in half an hour, all in a professional, friendly manner. I would definetley return for other service! Thanks Kaltire

My experience at every Kal Tire has been pretty much the same; incredible rude, condescending staff and utterly useless.

Kal tire was absolutely amazing, I called them 45 minutes before close on a Saturday because we realized we had a flat and they managed to fit us in without any issues or any problems at all, they just told us to pop on in and they fixed our tire with no problem at all. So, I've read some other reviews and I too agree the "short tattooed" guy (Doug) has a condescending and cocky attitude. Owner, please have a chat with this individual, for the sake of your customers and your business. We will all appreciate it.

They didn't have our tire type in stock (which is fine) but staff were very rude and told us to leave the parking lot (which we were sitting in and calling other Kal Tires locations trying to find the correct tire). We will not be using this location in the future, very disappointed in their attitude as soon as we were no longer customers.

I needed 4 new tires installed same-day. Doug was very helpful and made choosing a tire easy, and he provided great customer service. I would recommend this location.

I want to write to praise this shop's team to the moon and back! I've always been a Kaltire girl but, about three years ago, I had an unfortunate experience with another Kaltire site so opted to take my car to the competition for engine work. Recently, due to a flat tire and a loose skid plate, I decided to call the Millstream Kaltire for a work estimate. That was the best decision ever - no wait, sweet price, professional service and all in the midst of Covid 19! Just call me yet another very satisfied customer. I'll be back. Well done, Team!

After a very expensive vet visit, my car wouldn't start. I called BCAA (said they'd be an hour) and then called Kal Tire (Millstream) to see if they had any batteries for my car. They did. Then, instead of making me wait for BCAA, driving home, getting probably another boost in the morning and bringing my car in, they came to me! *It was a block away, but still! * They boosted my car, followed me to Kal Tire, had my battery waiting, and installed it, all within a 15 minute period. This is one of my favourite places for customer service. They truly do rock!

Pulled in with my SUV pulling a Uhaul trailer and my driving our pickup, all loaded up moving to Fort McMurray. The boys jumped to it and torqued all the tires and checked pressures. Great service!

The service is horrible! There is a short tatto guy didn’t explain anything appropriate and professionally and seems like racist! Don’t suggest this place ever again!

These guys are amazing! Came in with a flat tire and they were so kind and helpful. They changed the tire for me on the spot. My daughter had told me that they are awesome and she was right. I also ordered new tires cus the same ones were cheaper than Costco

I went there to mount 2 tires on brand new mustang rims. Scratched my rims. Wont be going back ever again.
