I called first thing Monday morning and was greeted with a cheerful Hello. They were able to get me in first thing to replace my tires. They were friendly, fairly quick and decently priced.

Kal tire continues to live up to its name! My daughter came in assuming she needed tires on her vehicle. These great people assured her she would be fine for quite awhile longer. They fixed her tire and sent her on her way! I appreciate the great service once again. Well done!

The Best Kal Tire I’ve ever been to. Service is amazing and quick. Kurt and Tony do a excellent job at this tire shop. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking tire maintenance.

My major issues are that they don't take appointments. You are expected to go in as you need it. Well you best go in right at opening because if you go in later than that chances are you will be refused service for the day as they are way too busy. This is frustrating as most of us have work/family schedules and getting your vehicle in without an appointment can prove a chore.

This also leads to the next issue of them being so busy that it is hard to even find a spot to park your vehicle. There had been many times I drove by in hopes to get in but clearly they were so busy there was no place to park, so I left and tried on a different day.

The final issue is sometimes the front desk staff are quite rude/unfriendly. They are like that on the phone and in person. This can definitely rub off the wrong way as the way they handle certain situations just makes things worse when you are denied service due to them being busy for the day.

The manager on the other hand if you are lucky to deal with him - is absolutely fantastic.

Fast and efficient technicians delivering great service and products. My go to tire store for my personal vehicles and farm equipment.

I had an issue with a tire right at closing time; however, that did not phase this fantastic group of people! I was welcomed with kindness and compassion, I swear I had a pleasant conversation with every Tech & Rep as they were conducting their tasks but asked me how my day was.

They were super busy, but that didn’t seem to be a factor whatsoever. My vehicle was brought into the shop, my issue was diagnosed immediately and I was on my way before I knew it.

I would go as far to say as this Kal-Tire is hands down the best in Canada… that’s a bold statement and I truly mean it. Thank you to the entire Port Alberni KT Team

We had a a small hole in our front tire and had an extremely long way ahead of us. The team helped us immediately fixed the tire within ten minutes. They are extremely friendly, helpful and very competent! Can recommend it to any one!

We drove into Kal tire with an alert showing for tire pressure. A service person came right out checked all the tires which were fine. He then asked if we had changed our tires recently, turns out it was needing a system relearn. He did that and said no charge! Wow super service thanks so much!

Had my Jeep towed here after a bad blowout, near the end of day with a storm blowing in. These amazing guys were working on my vehicle within minutes of it being dropped off - they fixed the wrecked tire quickly and with smile, and when all was done told me no charge and wished us happy travels. I was absolutely shocked how at the level of professionalism and friendliness.

There are not many places left that would treat anyone so well. I wish I lived closer so I could give them all my business.

Needed a battery after getting my car boosted they were great to fit me in asap changed my battery in 15min, week before that I had them put my snow tires on. I love their service and that I didn't have to go any time at all without a vehicle. I will only go to them where I know I will get 5* service.

This is a note of appreciation for the staff at your Port Alberni location. On November 19 2021 my wife and I were returning from Tofino. Along the highway I noticed the low tire pressure light but I kept driving and made it into Port Alberni. I managed to put some air into the tire and called Kal tire at about 15 minutes before closing. I was told that I would be helped but I need to get to the shop quickly. I think I got there with 5 minutes to spare. The staff were friendly and got to work right away. After taking the rim off the staff noticed that the tire was shot. When I gave my customer details to the office staff and the manager they immediately offered me a free replacement tire so that I could get on my way, get back to Vancouver and get a replacement tire. The whole experience took about 20 minutes. The manager also suggested that I take my damaged tire back to Vancouver in order to get a warranty discount on the next tire.

I have always had great service from my Vancouver location but the service I received from Kal Tire Port Alberni was exceptional.

Woke up to a flat tire I put my donut spare a drove to kal tire. They had it fixed and back on my car within a hour. Excellent service thank you

I was passing through town and on the way down the hump, my steering wheel of my bus started shuddering. I mentioned it to my host and he recommended Kal Tire. I'm sure glad I did since not only did they fix the problem, they recommended that I use the engine to brake more than my brakes. Thank you!

Have bought Kal tires for years. They have so many shops in Canada, providing tire free service when you need it. As for me. I had to buy a new one after a large nasty rock wrecked one of mine.oh well, at least they had what I needed in stock in the store far from home.we are travelling in the RV.

The tech took a look at my issue immediately and gave me an idea of what I would need for a full diagnosis. Friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

They fit me in without appointment for an emergency tire change en route back to Victoria (bringing my own replacement as they didn’t have stock on the size) after sidewall puncture. Very affordable too. I dealt with Tony who was friendly and great. Thanks again. Highly recommend this location

We were need of emergency help as we had developed as slow leak with one of tires when we drove through the construction site on Kennedy pass to catch the ferry back to Vancouver. What a way to end a trip. The staff at the Port Alberti Kal Tire were friendly and accommodating by staying open when we arrived just before closing at 5 pm. They provided fast and efficient service and great price to fix the tire. We are so grateful to the wonderful team that worked on March 10/21.

They were very busy. I have a slow puncture though could not fit me in they looked at my tire and checked air pressure filled tire more air. Were polite. Friend who had been going there for years says they are always very helpful. So I will go back there again.

Awesome experience at Kal Tire. Had to replace our fuel filter last minute on our road trip, these guys fit us in last minute and got it done within 40 mins. Very reasonable pricing too! Thanks to the handsome man with a great beard for working his magic!

Former employee at Port Alberni Kal tire, during my time working was not pleased with the management, over worked everyday, no breaks have to work thru lunch everyday and with little pay. So greaful I’m not working there anymore.

Got a flat tire driving the gravel road from Bamfield (fishing trip) on my BMW wirh run flats. Kal Tire took it off and determined it could not be repaired even to get home. I had a carload of frozen fish and a ferry to catch.

The staff were friendly, courtious, fast and efficient. The manager sold me a used radial in good condition to get home. Total bill with installation and tax was $67!

He could have asked for $167 and I would have paid it without a question.

Always great service from Pearson Kal Tire. I bought my KO2s a year ago and getting one patched was free of charge. They give great advice there, and if you're Bamfield-bound they're a must-go for proper tires.

I have to say that I have had the greatest experience over the last year with these guys, especially Curt. The first time I went in was to fix a flat, which they did right away and while I was waiting, Curt researched switching out my wheels and finding tires that would work for my odd size vehicle lol.

8 months later, I had my new wheels and tires installed and I couldn't be more happy and impressed by the customer service and professionalism you and your talented team delivered. Curt you are awesome and thank you for making my ride safer and look SICK.lol.

Dale was helpful and so nice! We came in with a flat tire and weren’t ready to purchase all new tires. Even without purchasing the tires, Dale had our tire patched. Added bonus - they were speedy with their analysis and patching of the tire. I would definitely go back.

Had a flat tire, was fixed quickly. The kid that changed my tire left the wooden block behind the wheel so I drove over that, they thought it was funny I guess. Not as friendly as I've experienced in the past, but will most likely go back

Went in for a simple flat tire repair they had it fixed in 10 minutes for the fair price of $25 and some change. Great service and friendly staff. I would recommend.

I walked in to inquire about repairing a tire with a nail in it. They took me right away and repaired it and within 20 mins I was on my way.

Have had amazing experiences both times I’ve used Kal-Tire. As a girl with limited car knowledge at best, the guys at Kal-Tire have been super helpful. They explained different winter tires to me and helped me choose the best tires for my needs, and didn’t pressure me into buying tires. And when my valve broke they were super speedy in changing it, and did it for a very reasonable price. They answer all my questions and don’t make me feel bad for asking what are probably dumb questions. Would highly recommend!

The fellows at this Kal Tire are wonderful. After being stuck on the road to Bamfield for 11 hours the day before with three flat tires (the local tow company did not come to get us) Kal Tire came to our rescue. They dispatched a truck with four new tires to my vehicle’s location and transferred the new tires onto my old rims while at the roadside. After a short spruce up at the shop I was on my way $2 cheaper than my estimated cost and 20 minutes early. They were professional and friendly. Gold star service was shown by this great team!
