We're able to see to my tire fairly quickly, had a replacement tire on hand and I was out in good time. Very friendly staff.

Jas saved me when they were busy and right before close I’m so grateful for these kind folks!

They had me sitting an extra 20 minutes after my car was pulled off the lift because they forgot to call me up, put the wrong lug nuts on my other set of wheels after I specifically said which ones go with which, then I got home to realize my tires were close to flat & they didn’t even check the tire pressure, I highly don’t recommend this place

Awesome experience as always! They made the entire experience as painless as possible from start to finish, and provided me with additional information above and beyond what I was originally there for, regarding my brakes which I wouldn't have known about otherwise, so very much appreciated. Super Happy with the service here, and will definitely be a returning customer

This shop is great. I ordered new K02 all terrain tires and rims. Basically the rims were offset and didn't work for my vehicle but once mounted are non returnable. Well I wasent told that but "Jeff" the parts guy was able to put the tires on my old rims so it works with no extra charge. Also they said I didn't need a wheel alignment after the company took a hit on the rims that didn't work. Great service and honest work. Thanks Jeff and Kal Tire:)

Had awesome service from the guys at this location. Arrived early at 7: 30am and they took my tire with the screw in it and had me back on the road in no time. Hope they enjoyed their doughnuts.

On our way to lunch, the low tire warning came on. Kal Tire located by Country Club Mall on Norwell Drive was only minutes away from the restaurant, so stopped to have air put in the tire. John Erhart in the service department immediately assisted us. He saw the tire had an old tire patch that was leaking and a nail in another part of the tire which were causing a slow leak. He was concerned and suggested we leave the car so they could repair the tire while we had lunch. Upon our return, not only was the tire repaired for the life of the tire, but they also diagnosed the brakes and condition of the remaining tires which both are good. Suggested servicing the brakes and rotating the tires next year when they are put back on for summer. Being a loyal Kal Tire client, the $66 fee for repair was waived.

This is at least my third time in. I have never had to go anywhere else. I pull in they answer every question and get the job done. The prices are fair and sometimes they go above and beyond. No matter who I have talked to every service man has always made me feel in control of what I need done and if I don't think I need it all my questions are answered and I have the info I need to make my own decisions. I would recommend them any day.

Was told to go to Kal Tire cos apparently they are professional. Few hrs later, newly installed tires and a bunch of scratches on my newly painted rim. Smh. Was given a so called Vip price. Could have given you that vip price to not scratch my rims

I had a piece of glass in one of my tires and it was almost flat, plus I had a two year old in my backseat and they fit me in without an appointment and within 15 minutes of arriving. We were in and out within an hour and I could not be happier with the service I received! Very thankful!

I’ve used Kal Tire for years, both back in SK and here in BC. I’ve always found their service good and they have earned my trust. Admittedly I’ve used this location in Nanaimo very little as my last tire purchase was through a deal at Costco. However I will continue to use Kal Tire and recommend them. I’ve had good experiences he times when I have dropped into this location for assistance or service. However I have to note that I have only used them for tire related service so cannot speak to other offered services; but based on my experience I would not hesitate to try them out.

I have been a customer of Kal Tire several times in recent years (thanks to ongoing construction in my neighbourhood), they have always fit me in quickly, given me great service, they are friendly and thorough. I find the prices really reasonable, and it's convenient to go to them. I was first recommended to check them out by family, but even other local mechanics have spoken highly of them which just adds to my faith in this business. Though no one likes a busted tire, they certainly make the experience easier.

Fantastic service, helpful and friendly staff. Good selection of tires and good appointment availability. Also- I love the free flat repair/balancing/rotation service- it’s nice peace of mind!

I would have given 5 stars had they not backed out of doing an after market install of wheel spacers. My car dealership said they would do it (Ford)

Fast service and was able to meet my requirements even when there was some unexpected turn of events, price for tires was made understandable and fair. A plastic lining was used on my car seat great cleanliness. Would recommend Kal tire to anyone who wants there issue solved fast and for a good price!

Had a flat on the mainland and wasn't able to get it fixed before hopping on the ferry. Called ahead and the staff were extremely pleasant and willing to squeeze me in before the end of the day. Unfortunately the ferry was late and we showed up just as they closed. Was super relieved that the guys were still willing to give the tire a check over, and even though they weren't able to help (side wall flat and no matching tire in stock), they aired me up before sending me on my way. Really appreciate them staying late and making sure we were as safe as possible before they let us go! Thank you!

The place is clean, you feel safe there, smart people work professionally, but some high prices.

Guys there were great, I ordered new wheels, they ckd them for proper fitment, made sure they were right. Very professional.

Condescending males that talk down to women. They made a mistake on my inspection form and refuse to correct it.

My spare wouldn't release and we blew a tire, we called like 30 minutes from closing they squeezed us in to get our truck off the road. Because of the crime in nanaimo thank you for not making us wait another day and risk hwy parking. We appreciate the tire change.

Awesome service. Even though I was late for a winter tire switch they fitted me in at the end of the day by putting in overtime. Helpful, friendly and flexible!

Best shop in town. Don’t go anywhere else. Kregg Brandner the manager is fast and efficient and knows his stuff. Hands down the best place to go.

I feel compelled to write to you regarding the management and staff at at 2800 Norwell Dr in Nanaimo,
I have never dealt with a more dedicated management and staff, they go above and beyond any expectations that a customer would have.
I had my summer tires stored by them and through no fault of their own the tires and rims went missing. The rims were OEM for a 2005 Chev Silverado. These guys bust their guts to find me the same rims that were on my truck. I am beyond grateful to Kal and the staff & management at the Norwell Dr store for the tremendous effort they went to to find me the same rims.
We are very fortunate to have such a fabulous, honest business to deal with in our area.

Worst Customer Experiance I have had in Nanaimo in the 21 years I have lived here. I stopped by Kal Tire in South Nanaimo.on my way to pick up my two kids, and wife. Asked the man with a beard.about 40-50 years old who was the manager.or just the 'idiot in charge' for the day. I asked if he could 'please give me a retourqe on my tires'. He asked. 'did
You buy em here? ' In a rude voice. I said 'no. ' He refused to perform the most basic.safety/maintenance thing for a driver, next to checking the tire pressure. I HAVE AN OLDER TRUCK. Maybe that is why he treated me with such disrespect? I am of First Nations background.maybe he did not like the way I looked? I know one thing. I WILL NEVER GIVE ANY OF MY BUSINESS AGAIN TO ANY KAL TIRE. EVER!

Went in for a wheel changeover and balance. Waited for 5 mins before the guy came to check me in which wasn't a big deal. But then on my way home I noticed that 2 out of the 4 tires weren't balanced and under inflated. Ended up calling them and going back to get the job done properly. At least they owned up to their mistake but it sucks that I wasted another 45 mins of my day.

Hands down amazing service. My calipers seized and they hoisted it at no charge and helped my son and I get a tow truck and rental car to continue on our trip! If I loved locally I would use this shop all of the time!

It was quick, and the guy who runs the store is funny as hell. Good and honest in running the business. Nearly got charged for something i didnt get, but he realized it right away and fixed it. Much better customer experience than costco tires (my go to tire store before)
