The staff are just great, wonderful service, very welcoming and the facility is great. The prices were a bit high though.

Have been coming here for years, friendly, knowledgeable, professional work, there’s a reason they are so busy!

I had a flat tire and I took my tire to Mr. Lube as I had heard that they have a fast service. After waiting for a day, they told me that the flat is not repairable and I have to replace the tire, so I took it to Kal Tire located on 1830 Marine Drive in North Vancouver (cross the street from Mr. Lube).
Marcus, the store manager was very nice, friendly and professional and he took care of my problem without trying to sell me a new tire.
I recommend everyone to go this store with a piece of mind as they will be treated properly.

This is specific to the marine drive location in North Vancouver. I had my winter tired stored with this location. I made an appointment to have the seasonal tire change, however an emergency came up where I needed an earlier appointment. I tried calling both the location and the 1-800 number with no answers. I went to the location in person and was told it shouldn't be an issue if was I able to leave my vehicle with them in 4 days. I went in and dropped my car off 4 days later. 2 hours later they called me to tell me that I didn't have an appointment and they could not do the work and to come get my car and make an appointment online. This left me with only a couple days to find someone else to do the. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve my tires from them and after several calls. I was able to find someone else to do the work.

Tony is the best guy in the store to help the customers as much as he can.

Bought a set of wheels on line from Kaiben Wheels (another top company can’t fault there service either) and they got us installed at kal Tire absolutely perfect.

Great experience - super easy to find the correct tires online and see what's in stock (and to book my appointment online). My customer service person was very friendly and efficient and my winter tires were installed very quickly. And they can store my all-season tires for me (for a reasonable fee), which is handy as I live in a small condo. Also extremely good communication from the customer service team when my appointment had to be rescheduled by a few days due to the flooding & mudslides here in B. C.

Amazing staff and great service. Very competitive prices. They also have Nokian Tyres which you can’t get anywhere else in North America. They are the most honest auto shop I have encountered, they tell the truth about what’s going on with your vehicle and don’t try to lie to get you to spend more money on tires or services. They are also very safety focused.

Had a brake issue and they were able to get me in right away and fixed it all very quickly. Great service, the kind you rarely find anymore.

The entire team were amazing and got me in last minute for a wheel alignment and ensure I was communicated to the entire time. 5 star service and highly recommend

Absolutely amazing service and staff! I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my tires checked/fixed. Haven't seen any other service-based company in Vancouver provide this level of customer service. Everytime I have a spontaneous tire pressure issue I drop by and they sort it out quickly, hassle-free and for free.

I've gotten tires several times from this location. The service has always been top notch and always leave happy.

Put the wrong tires on my van, which took several hours. Then took them 3 hours to put the right tires on the next day. They even left my window wide open and my van unlocked. Needless to say I am not impressed.

I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment to have my snow tires put on my car. It was my first time at this location because the next available appointment at the location close to my home wasn't available until even later.
I drove to the bays in the back of the store at 12 for my 12 o'clock appointment because the 5 parking spots at the front of the store were all full. I was told to go around the block and park on the street because they were still working on other cars. The area around this location has very limited parking and the lane in front of the shop on Marine Drive is a bus lane. It makes it difficult to drive around the shop looking for parking.
There were 2 staff available to serve people at the front. One was on the phone for about 45 minutes. I had to wait for the other person for 20 minutes before I was checked in. My car was finished at 1: 20.
The receipt states in block, capital letters that you must come in to have your wheels tightened the next business day or 50 km from this service. I came on a Sunday and they were closed. I went back again on Monday and was told that they tighten the wheels twice at the time of service because of Covid. It would have been helpful to know this before I made the two extra trips to this location.

I've had my winter/summer changes done here at this branch, service has been impeccable. Will miss the fine folk here!

These guys rock! When I got to my car after my graveyard shift I was not happy to see my tire flat. After struggling with the spare and how it's located in the center of the underside of my van, I limped into the shop with low expectations of getting anything taken care of today. They fixed me up, rotated my tires and even ruturned the spare to it's awkward location. They did not try and upsell me in any way. Thanks fellas!

Recently went into Kal Tire on Marine in North Vancouver to get an alignment. After a hour wait I came back to them telling me I need to purchase new Lower Control Arms because they are seized they tried charging me 900$. I knew for a fact they weren’t because I just installed a new suspension kit.
Thankfully when I went to the Kal tire on BrooksBank in Northvan they did everything with no problems at all and only charged me 130$.
This was a huge lesson that I learned, i’m only 20 and i’m just getting into looking after my vehicle. Gladly I talked with multiple people and got different opinions.

Just a little edit if you guys read Kal tires response. You can just tell these guys don’t know what their doing. Their so called “specialty tool” is what every mechanic should have in their shop.

Excellent customer service at this location! Seasonal tire change Jan 11 and the guys were super helpful and accommodating; will definitely be back for service in the future.

Received excellent service from Al on two cars that had tires issues back to back during a crazy snow storm. Although my issues were of low priority with everyone needing snow tires, Al still got everything taken care of faster than expected. Will return

I visited the store to choose new tires for my car. The front person demonstrated a few options and we found Sumimoto HTR A/S PO2. The price appeared to be $97.40 per tire. I said I liked the tires, especially the price. The front person booked the appointment and printed the quote. Only a few days later I read the quote and found the price to be $129.95 per tire. So, I wish I was told that the price he showed to me on his computer was not $97.40 but different. I just canceled my appointment and will be looking for a different tire store. I did not feel confident with this store anymore.

These guys made a mistake when installing a tire then refused to fix it after I spent about $1500 with Kal tire. I went to OK Tire on Fell they fixed it in 5 min. I highly recommend staying way away from The rude, unprofessional Kal tire marine location in North Van.

These guys are sketchy, I bought new winter tires off of them last year, drove them for one season, changed over to summers, made an appointment to put my winters back on and they called me today (the day of my appointment) to tell me that my one-season old winters are shot. Picking up my tires and going somewhere else. Definitely save your money and go somewhere else.

I’ve used Kal Tire on and off for years now and was happy with my service. My daughter just got a nail in her tire so I sent her to Kal Tire as I’ve had a good experience. She met with someone and he told her the tire was not only unrepairable but that she needed to replace the other front tire was well to make them equal for pull. They quoted her $900.

I then sent her elsewhere to have it looked at and get a more reasonable quote and the tire was repaired for $70 and not only that, she was told the other tire wouldn’t have needed to be replaced based on its wear even if they couldn’t repair it. You just lost two customers Kal Tire and after reading the comments here, it looks like other people have had the same problem. Not impressed.

To get through to this business on the phone is an undertaking, have been trying to reach somebody for the past few hours, the phone just keeps ringing endlessly. Even on other days it's all a hit or miss. Service otherwise is fine but I also expect to get a hold of somebody when I'm trying to reach them. Would move my service somewhere else if I wouldn't move out of the province.

A long weekend and sure enough a slow leak from a nail on Friday night. Kal tire on Marine Dr.fit me in and found the problem and unfortunately it needed a replacement. The next day I was squeezed in and a new tire on my truck. The gentleman at the front desk was very informative for me and made sure I was on the road again. Advised me to have my tire retorqued on Tuesday and could drop in. No appointment needed. I went to the other kal tire on Brooksbank and they took care of it with in 5 mins. Great service and friendly staff. I strongly recommend them.

Described the nature of the damage as well as the type of tire. The person refused to share any information on pricing or options until I’ve come in. Terrible sales tactic.

They are amazing. I trust them completely in terms of their honesty and quality of work. They are not the only tire store I have used, and I cannot recommend this place enough.
