Kam Wai Dim Sum 金 威 點 心

Easily one of the best dim sum places in the area. I eat wayyyy too many bbq pork buns, they are so good and always hit the spot. The mushroom dumplings & siu mai are also super yum.

Took a wrong turn, and came across this place, and I'm glad I did! They're not really set up for dine-in, which is why it's not 5-stars. There's a few seats, but they don't really clean the tables, and I only saw customers clearing their own tables.
Still, it was pretty good. Staff were friendly, and answered my questions. I had a 4-pc.ha gao and 2 BBQ pork buns. They have many more choices for take away, but you have to cook it at home. I don't mind, the price is right. I saw some vegan and vegetarian items on offer.

The service is exceptionally efficient, with prompt delivery of delicious food. It is perfect for a quick grab-and-go option, although they also provide a few tables for customers to sit and savor their meals. The prices are reasonable, making it a highly convenient choice.

This is an old store that has been open for decades. It has a lot of quick-frozen noodles, which are very convenient to heat up and eat at home. I especially like the boss’s smile

I love the wonton soup - comfort food on a rainy day! Dumplings are good too. I’m not coming here for an incredible meal… I’m stopping by for fast comfort food. The highlights of Kam Wai are the fast take out options and the option to buy everything you enjoyed frozen in bulk quantities. The prices are actually really good. So when I’m not feeling brave to try something new and need a good lunch to get me through a cold rainy day, I’ll come to Kam Wai.

Big selection of frozen wontons, dumplings and dim sum ️ Lots of ready to eat food too like black bean spareribs on rice, siu mai and ha gao. Love supporting this Chinatown shop!

A real retro feel in a clean updated retail space with incredible prices! This is a gem in Chinatown. Come and support them.

The sui mai was the best I've ever had and it was so juicy! Congee was $4 and packed with pork and century egg! Will now be my go-to place for takeout in the morning! I appreciate the fact this place opens early!

Small dim sum place that mainly sells frozen dim sum but also has a counter selling fresh dim sum. I think it's mainly for takeaway but has limited seating. The service was quick and they accepted credit cards. The pork siu mai, the ha gow and the chicken and Chinese sausage with sticky rice in lotus leaf were delicious! The steamed pork bun was nice too. The won ton soup broth wasn't as flavourful as I've had in other places. Overall, nice food and value for money.

Limited selection but affordable compared to other dim sum place. I am so inlove with the chicken and chinese lotus leaf wrap. The blackbean spareribs rice bowl is great too. There's only a few table so I think they focus more on selling frozen products but atleast they have dine in option so you could try them.
