I have had the opportunity to see a few practitioners at Kamloops Active Health over the years, most recently during my pregnancy with my second child. Dr. Brise is incredible knowledgeable and passionate about pre-natal care and I had an absolutely AMAZING pre-natal massage with Anne Adkins. Her pillow set up is second to none in the massages I have and over the course of this pregnancy, and she delivered a deep and effective massage while being mindful of my pregnant body. Highly recommend all around!

My first visit to Kamloops Active Health, also my first experience with a chiropractor! Dr McCall was lovely! She walked me through everything! I went in with anxiety and pain and I left with HOPE that our plan going forward will help get me back to myself!

Lindsey Peebles was personable and quite thorough in her assessment. The explanations she gave for her recommendations were great and well received. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I had an appointment with Dr. Emily Middleton after experiencing upper shoulder and back pain that was referring down to my elbow for a few days. She took the time to understand all of my prior issues and treatments and provided an active release treatment for me. Within about 1 hr after the appointment the pain had subsided and over the next 2 days it completely subsided.

Lindsay is very thorough & very personable. She asks when is too much & or if you can do more.

I also see Eric at this clinic and he is very personable. He does a wonderful job. If you need an RMT come see Eric you won't be disappointed.

The staff are professional and respectful. Appointment was on time. Facilities are clean and tidy.

I have been going to this clinic for 12+. They are like family! I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are my go to for regular maintenance! The team at Active Health are so knowledgeable. Thank you just doesn’t seem enough!

This was by far the best massage I've ever had to deal with a specific back injury. Professional, knowledgeable and experienced RMT Eric. Definitely recommend! I'll be back for more in the future.

This clinic is amazing! Have seen Laura for chiropractic and Jason and James for massage. AMAZING! Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Everyone is so nice, polite, friendly. They have customer parking in the back, so I never have a problem with worrying if I will find a print spot downtown. Highly recommend Kamloops Active Health.

James was able to accommodate my 8-year-old daughter in for a massage. She was having neck issues. He was very knowledgeable and made her feel comfortable for her first massage. I could stay with her throughout the full massage, and he made a big improvement to her neck pain.

I can already feel a positive difference after my first appointment with Dr. Brise. When I had to travel across Canada for work, I went through the assessment process in each province, and, comparatively, Sarah provided the most thorough assessment I've ever had.

I'm not a big fan of massage (just not a touchy feely person) but sometimes it's required, and today I had a excellent treatment from James. I felt very comfortable in the setting, and James really listened to what my experience was and focused on the areas that were an issue. When providing the treatment, if I felt the pressure was too hard, he readjusted right away. I appreciated his professional manner throughout the appointment. Even though I don't love massages in general, if I feel I need another one, I will definitely call James!

Very welcoming and helpful on arrival with my walker and therapist pushed me hard but that is why I was there. Can’t give 5 stars with that much pain though

This clinic is great! I have received chiro, physio, and massage services from multiple practitioners here over the last 4 years and don't have a single bad thing to say about my experience. I love the online booking feature, and staff are very quick to respond to calls/emails. During my pregnancy it was comforting to be able to continue receiving services at a familiar place with their specially trained staff. I recently brought my 7 month old for physio and they were great with her.

Found Dr. Middleton very welcoming and informative. First ever treatment of this kind, so looking forward to good results.

Best staff and practioners! Highly recommended this clinic. They are always friendly, have great safety and sanitation protocols, and parking! They are so great at fitting me in for emergencies and wait list call backs.

I have been coming to Kamloops Active Health for many years now and have never had a bad experience until now. The woman at the front desk was rude, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. I will no longer be coming here to get my massages and I will be advising my friends and family to do the same.

I have been going here for years. Any physical problems I have had they corrected. Absolute professionals with a ton of knowledge. 100 percent recommend them.

Chiropractor treatments and physiotherapy treatments at Kamloops Active Health helped me get my life back. I suffer from chronic pain do to arthritis in my hips, a hip impingement, and lower back pain. By following their treatment plan I was successful to get back to doing the thing I enjoy the most, running around with my kids, playing sports, mountain biking and hiking. Their treatment plan was easy to follow, which included strength training, stretching exercises, dry needling, massage and chiropractor adjustments. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone that needs help rehabbing any type of injury or chronic pain.

I cannot say enough about this clinic! I’ve been to many chiropractors over the years and this was the first place that actually strived to help me not just have me come back every Friday for a quick crack. Their goal is to NOT have you come back as they want to bring healing into your life not quick fixes. They also use muscle release in their practice and are always accessing and recommending other modalities if needed. Their RMT’s are also phenomenal. Kamloops Active Health has helped me through unbearable hip pain, pregnancy and a car accident. No matter which practitioner I go to they all carry the same values and quality of care. If you’re struggling with any sort of pain this is a great place to go!

Very friendly staff, closed/private environment for appointments. Unfortunately did not receive proper assessment as a pregnant woman, was simply asked health history/family history related questions and where current pain was.was then told to return closer to due date for adjustments. I decided to go elsewhere so that I could receive proper assessment and treatment, and support in reaching my healing goals during and after pregnancy.

I have been accessing the excellent services at this clinic for many years (for a lot of different issues) and I wholeheartedly and very highly recommend every clinician here. If you are in pain, these are the people to see - from chiropractic treatments to naturopathy and acupuncture and massage therapy! The staff here are not just skilled and conscientious — every one I’ve met is a caring and concerned and thoughtful human. Love these women (especially Laura).

Ok, this place is the bomb. Everyone there is chatty and knowledgeable about what there doing and what you need. Definitely best place I have to.

My husband and I moved to Kamloops in September, 2020 for his work and I unfortunately, was on medical leave with chronic Back Pain.
November was my first visit and the beginning of my healing journey.
A wonderful greeting from behind a Covid protection screen, is the friendly, cheerful Penny. Super helpful and made my first impression very welcoming.
I started seeing Katie Hamilton (Naturopathic Doctor) to help me with other health concerns, as well as acupuncture for my pain. She is a very soft spoken, compassionate person, who takes her time with you and is very thorough with her care. Next, I saw Emily Middleton (Chiropractic Doctor) She is strong but gentle and takes her time to get to know you and understand your body and will treat you accordingly. When the lovely Emily went on Maternity leave, I then saw Laura McCall, also an amazing (Chiropractic Doctor) She too is very strong and took the time to listen. She has a very positive, supportive, professional attitude that uplifted and gave me hope for a pain free future. During this time, I began to work with James McGettigan (RMT) You are in great hands with this amazing practitioner. He too is a caring person with a firm but gentle pressure. He will find all the trouble areas and find areas you never even knew were causing pain. I feel relaxed, relieved and about 2 inches taller when I leave.
With my pain subsiding, I now see Lindsey Peebles (Physiotherapist) Her energy is contagious! She has a warm, welcoming feeling about her. You feel supported and happy just talking with her. She will introduce different exercises and stretching techniques and make sure you are doing them correctly to promote your continuous recovery.
I am grateful to have this entire team of knowledgeable practitioners, working together, providing the best care and giving me a better quality of life again.

My go to place for help when my body needs it. Very good Covid19 procedures. Laura McCall is an amazing woman as well as a great Chiropractor!

We've been going here for several months now, and have received treatment from multiple practitioners. The facility is quite comfortable on both floors with only the top floor accessible for those with mobility challenges (use parking in the back for closest access). There is a railing to lock bikes on the side. Practitioners are very professional and like to work in tandem with other practitioners on site to coordinate treatment for better results. The facility is very clean. Prices are a bit higher than we were used to in northern Alberta, but still reasonable. They have been great to help our family of four, which includes two teens, in feeling stronger and more flexible as we each heal from injuries or worn bodies.

I saw Sarah today, and I feel AMAZING. She has a great approach and tries her best to understand. She gave me a release in my upper back that I was looking for a very long time

The best chiropractor ever. Laura and Sarah are so different than all other bone crunchers out there. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Amazing place for massage and chiropractic services. Everyone is always really friendly and willing to answer questions. Parking is available in the front and back and location is convenient. Bookings can also be made online which is bonus.
