The best baclava in the city hands down. My favourite bakery to get these delectable treats! Even my Vietnamese mom who’s the pickiest eater in the world loves them. The royal baklavas are pricier but the artistry is worth it if you’re aiming to impress. The pistachio and walnut baklavas taste just as good though! The pistachio cookies are also delicious. They also have parking in the back.

Reasonably priced delicious baked goods and genuinely wonderful people who own this bakery, would highly recommend

Walked by on my lunch break and by chance decided to go in. The service is amazing, the owner is super nice, and the food is another level.

Our cousins recommended this bakery and we went there soon afterward. The friendly owner greeted us and gave us samples to try. We ended up getting 5 different types of pastries. We definitely will return and get all other items.

Very delicious Turkish dessert. At first, I was worried that it was too sweet, but the boss was very enthusiastic and let us taste it, and said that the sweetness had been adjusted. It is very suitable for Asian tastes, the pistachio flavor is very strong, the ingredients are abundant, and the price is reasonable. The price list is calculated in pounds, and the average price per piece is $2-3. Well worth trying

I love their baklava.its not oily and always tastes fresh and delicious even if you eat it after a week you still feel the fresh richness of the ingredients.

Today, I visited Kamo Bakery and was blown away by the delicious baklavas and the warm hospitality. Kamo himself was so nice and friendly, and he even gave us free baklavas to try! The baklava, the bread, and the cookie we purchased were all absolutely delicious - not too sweet, but full of flavor and perfectly baked. Overall, I highly recommend Kamo Bakery for anyone looking for a taste of authentic, high-quality baked goods and friendly service.

I have been fortunate enough to try their baked goods a couple of times and me, my family, my friends and my coworkers are all amazed at how incredible everything is. On top of that my experiences with the KAMO BAKERY staff have been incredible as well. Nothing but positive experiences from me and everyone I know. Love the genuine love and care that exudes from everything I’ve seen and interacted with from Kamo Bakery.

I was passing by the street and just saw the picture of baklava outside. Honestly I thought I would be regular full of syrup baklava that I tasted from turkey however, this one was different. It was not dipped into the syrup so I can not be seen as original baklava, but it was amazing that even thought its not original or sweet. It has an insane amount of flavour of pistachio and walnut. Moreover, the owner of this place is so kind and have a good energy that I wanted to go again!

Great gem of a bakery we found while walking on Victoria Drive. The owner is very friendly and takes pride in his products. We had pistachio and walnut baklava. Very balanced between the sweet filling and flaky pastry. Well done! Get there early as this place is popular.

The absolute best Middle-Eastern / Mediterranean Bakery…. Ever! This little gem does not disappoint in fact you won’t find more authentic-breads or pastries anywhere in western Canada. No cheap ingredients at Kamo Baker and you can taste the quality! Once you try it you’ll refuse to settle for anything less… I live 4 hours away and we always stock up every-time we are in town.

The baklavas are seriously delicious! I've never been a big fan of baklava because of the sweetness and, unfortunately, sometimes greasiness. Seeing so many excellent reviews of Kamo's baklavas, I was actually excited to try it for myself. I was not disappointed. We got both types, the walnut and the pistachio. They are both amazing-just the right amount of sweetness and not greasy at all! It's so incredibly well done, flaky and buttery-these baklavas are not pastries they are art! We loved them so much the next day my husband ordered some to bring to work to share. Everybody loved them.

The baklavas are so spectacular I almost forgot to mention their other sweets and the owner. The owner-I've got to ask for his name next time-is super nice. As a first timer in the bakery, he offered to let us try anything we're interested. We ended up trying almost everything and buying a whole bunch of different sweets. In total we got 12 baklavas and a small box of assorted cookies. We finished them in 3 days, just the two of us! They are lethal because you don't feel guilty eating them at all.

It's a joy to discover small neighbourhood gems like Kamo. It makes you appreciate the little things in life that much more.

Went to this shop because I’ve been seeing great reviews. Owner was very accomodating and kind he even gave me a free taste of their best seller baklava. I immediately loved the pistachio baklava and ordered some. Worth the try and will definitely go back for their other pastries.

The happiest person is the one whose house is nearby the bakery. The curtesy attitudes of thee stuff towards their costumes and the tasty bread and fabulous yummy cookies made me to go there every now and then. I am sure if one tastes the stuff, they will go again and again. The town needs kamo bakery.

We found this little gem on Victoria Drive and we loved it. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and generous. He gave us many samples to try. It was delicious. The breads were very fresh and the owner recommended to us how to eat them. We were delighted but this bakery. Definitely will come back to this family business. Loved it.

They have the Best Iraqi Samon, a tasty Baklava, very authentic and the staff is very friendly.

Service was good, pretty good pastry. $18 a pound, quite expensive, although nuts r expensive. I bought 6 small pastry for $8.50, and he gave me one to try. Should post the price by each, then people can budget how many they want to buy.

Owner was very friendly and let us sample each of the items on showcase. The Baklava is our favorite, everything else was also great and not too sweet, so you can really eat a lot of them. My mom thinks this is the best bakery in the area and want to recommend this to all her friends.

You might not notice it, the shop is small and not fancy at all, but the goods are great! Baklava are definitely my favourite. Only slightly sweetened, you can enjoy the crispy pistachio and walnut flavours without ending with greasy fingers. Plus the service is really nice.

Everything the other review says are right! The owner is definitely the sweetest thing in the shop as all their pastries are made with low sugar. After hearing it's my first time there, the owner was so enthusiastic to introduce to me what they have and giving me a couple of samples to try. It was a very heart warming gesture.
First the baklavas, the sweetness is only about 1/2 or less than the other baklavas out there, I can finally taste the true taste of the baklavas without filling my mouth with syrup. My husband absolutely loves it.
My absolute favorites in the shop is the sesame cake and the dates pastry. Sesame cake tastes really fragrant and addictive. You don't get sick and tired of the taste at all. The texture is more like a cookie.
The date pastry is quite different from the other places I've tried and definitely my second choice from the shop.
The orange chocolate cookie is another must have if you are a chocolate person. It's got such a strong dark bitter chocolate taste to it you'll feel like you're eating dark chocolate itself. The texture was also really good. It has a combination of cookies and brownies texture making it nice and moist but still crunchy.
Everything is priced by weight (baklava costs more). I think on average, each pc will cost around $1.
This place is a bit out of my way, but with this quality, I'm ok to make a trip there more often now
